Well, good, now I don't have to worry about having to upgrade

All of them are pretty much great, even the spinoffs (yes, even "Federation Force", while not really Metroid, it was a good game in its own right) but "Zero Mission" is my absolute favourite!

Will wait for Nintendo UK to stock the amiibo and hopefully pre-order both that and the Special Edition at the same time, since I'll need to use a middle-man service. No local retailers have the game up for pre-order yet...

Eagerly awaiting my Ninja Gaiden physical edition! This collection is what I've been hoping for since Day 1 of the Switch!

Funny, I bought this game at a thrift store mere days ago. I seem to remember emulating it back in the day and enjoying it, though I never played through the whole thing. Hopefully, I will eventually get to it

The lack of a standalone OST release for Neon is baffling...and sad 🙁 I love that OST, but I'm not giving them an extra 55 bucks for an incomplete OST and a bunch of stuff I don't care for...

Definitely picking up the standard edition of Neon though and maybe the vinyl for DD4, to go along with my other DD records. The physical of 4 though, I believe I'll skip. Not that big of a fan of the series to double-dip on that game.

@NicolausCamp I'm not OK with either when they're uncalled for. "Castlevania" could've easily been a PG-13 or even a PG show and still tell the same story. But R-rating sells...

@TheFrenchiestFry, that's also true. I was just giving it as an example of telling a mature story in tasteful manner. Castlevania is a franchise that can be enjoyed by children. How many 8-year-olds played the original games? Showing a single pixel of Succubus breast in SOTN is one thing, showing genitalia waving around is another. Just because something lends itself to gore or explicit content doesn't mean it needs it (the original Mortal Kombat movie, for example). And what this show did with that was definitely not in service of good storytelling.

@MegaMari0 "Tasteful manner" is where it's at. "Batman: Mask of the Phantasm", for example, strongly implied sexual interaction between characters without being explicit. I didn't need to see bare breasts or Hector's junk waving about...that's not what I'm looking for in Castlevania.

@TheFrenchiestFry Season 2 had it's strong moments (I mean, the Bloody Tears scene is a standout for the show, for sure), but it just didn't...grab me. I genuinely wanted to stick with it in hopes I might eventually like it, but come Season 3 and I was done...

I'm glad for those that enjoyed it though.

@Damo It was mostly the writing and overall tone. I don't mind gore, but some of the elements they included were absolutely unnecessary. I hated what they did to Hector as a character. I hated a lot of the dialogue and the overall writing. I hated the fact that a Castlevania show felt it needed to devote time to explicit sex scenes, lines about screwing goats or Alucard flipping Trevor off.

I liked the character designs a lot, especially loved what they did with re-designing St. Germain. The main cast also looked great. Wasn't too keen on Isaac's look (and no, not because he's black, as I didn't like his original design either).

To me, the 2004 "Van Helsing" movie starring Hugh Jackman is a much better attempt at Castlevania than this ever was.

I know I'm in the minority here. But I was hoping SO MUCH that this will be something great. And once episode 1 was over, it went downhill really fast. It had some good moments, but Season 3 was where I tuned out for good.

Thank God this travesty is over...shame, it had such potential, but it was letdown by mostly atrocious writing (no surprise there, considering the rest of Ellis' work)...season 3 was the nail (stake?) in the coffin for me, I didn't even bother finishing it.

@Teksetter Releasing a BM Zero Trilogy would be such a punch to the gut for those that coughed up cash for their releases of BM Zero 1 and 2...I'm fairly certain they'll do BM Zero 3, but I wouldn't expect the Trilogy pack that Japan is getting...

God, I wish I'd held on a bit longer and got that instead...Oh well, at least I only got the standard editions and not the CEs...the vinyl boxset will be more of an eyesore, if they release the OST to the third game, since there's no way you can fit that in the same box...

Normally, I'd be annoyed that we're getting this crossover again, rather than more ACTUAL PR characters...but I love playing Ryu and Chun-Li in SF 2 and 3, so I won't complain too much

Okay, now that both Lost Vikings games are on there, I might finally go and get it!

@AirElephant from what I read, Blizzard did develop the SNES version.

Lack of "Lost Vikings 2" (the SNES version specifically, that resembles the original, not the pre-rendered version that was on other platforms) is quite disappointing.

@RupeeClock I bought the standard Limited Run editions and I'm still pissed off...guess I'll either get this and sell those or wait out for an LR release of the third one...

Part of me is like: "HELL YEAH! I love me some BM Zero!"
Another part of me is like: "F' NO! Now the vinyl boxset is no longer "complete" and I'll have to wait for YET ANOTHER Limited Run release!"

Well that was unexpected! Not a fan of the visuals, but I like me some Robotech, so I might pick this up, as I never played the original.

Played the crap out of the Famicom Macross game as a kid though.

I've heard that Battlecry and Invasion were pretty good as well, so I'd be interested in giving them a try too.

THIS is what I've been hoping for since Day 1 of the Switch!! I love me some NG and I played the crap out of the first one (and Black) on the X-Box and Razor's Edge on Wii U. Never had any console that 2 was available for though, so this will be my first time playing it.
I'm seriously hoping for a physical release with all games on the cart though. I'd have been willing to pay full price for each of the games if they got individual physical releases anyway...

I remember playing the arcade years ago. It was fun, but not enough for me to want to get this. It's still neat that it's seeing a rerelease though.

The D-Pad one got me...

I absolutely loved every minute of the gme and beat it in pretty much one sitting! It absolutely lived up to the hype and I'd be down for more of the same!

@VR32X I'm not sure how long I played it yesterday (I'm currently at chapter 10 out of, I believe 11) and I absolutely didn't feel the time go by! I couldn't leave it! Even if it is 10 hours (and I suppose that includes a lot of backtracking, which I did very little of), it certainly goes by quickly!

Great game! Currently on Chapter 10 and I absolutely love it! I especially appreciate that the backtracking is non-mandatory and doesn't hinder the game, as it did with The Messenger.
The length, in my opinion, is also a pro, not a con.

Some sections could use an extra checkpoint though and I really miss ducking I keep pressing down all the time XD

And please, people, start remembering that there were other 8-bit ninja games besides Ninja Gaiden. While I love that series, Cyber Shadow feels NOTHING like NG and is much more obviously an homage to Shadow of the Ninja/Kage/Blue Shadow and other Natsume platformers of the time (Solbrain/Shatterhand) in terms of gameplay and level design!

A most excellent game and if a physical comes, I'll likely double-dip.

@NotoriousWhiz Not sure if you care about physical vs digital, but you might want to check NIS's website. At least in Europe, the physical edition that comes with both games, their soundtrack and an artbook, is usually discounted at a lower price than the games are in the eShop.

This is one of those games that me and my brother bought as kids without really knowing what to expect. Back then, we only had access to bootleg Famicom cartridges and ours was a purple cart that had Cool Spot on it and the title of the game was "7-Up 2: Spot the Cool". And the game itself was also hacked, so that the title screen said "7-Up 2". I definitely found it easier as a 1-player game, but neither me, nor my brother ever beat it. I think I never got much further than level 6...

But I've always thought it was fairly obvious that the game was one huge mountain. You could see parts of upcoming/previous levels during gameplay and I always thought that was pretty cool.

I'd have sprung for the KO set IF it didn't come with that Roadie Case. I can see the appeal of it, but I just don't need it. That cassette, the guitar picks and the drumsticks are soooooo neat. I'll just go for the edition that comes with the soundtrack CD...

Now I'm kinda mad I didn't hold out on getting Panzer Paladin for a few more days till this hits...I hope that they'll announce a physical of Double Dragon Neon in the same window as Scott, so I can save a bit on postage...

There's something...off...about the graphics. But it looks fun and I appreciate how they're not even trying to hide what inspired them.

@impurekind I'm glad people are getting their game after all, even though they should've received it A LONG time ago. What I'm more interested in though is the fact that, as stated in an interview, one of the people who worked with WaterMelon has supposedly been handed everything from the "Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs" game and is trying to finish it...which would be great, since I backed that project and we've had no updates for over 2 years now...

Never knew it got delisted...it's a good game that I had fun with, but it's definitely starts dragging a bit at one point. Would've liked it better had it been a tad shorter.

How is Gun-Dec a Japanese exclusive when it's just the Japanese version of Vice: Project Doom?

@nessisonett Much as I like The Messenger, I felt that the exploration dragged it down. I'm hoping for a more straightforward action experience ala Ninja Gaiden and Shadow of the Ninja this time around...and for a physical release, naturally.

@Speeeedy Man, "Claw" was terrific! I played the hell out of it back in the day (alongside Jazz Jackrabbit 2).

I tried Wallachia's demo awhile back and honestly didn't really like it...but I might give it another go.
