I kinda regret not getting the standard edition from Strictly Limited, but my pile of unplayed Switch games has become rather large at this point and I thought I could pass another shmup...probably shouldn't have though.

I see that Play-Asia to have a Multi-Language release available that appears to be identical, for the most part, so I still might grab it.

I picked up "Ray Crisis" on the PS1 from a local thrift store about a decade ago and remember enjoying it...yet I never went back to it after that. I'll have to revisit at some point.

Even though I have the Limited Run physical editions, it's great to see this bundle and I hope it gets a wider release. I won't be double-dipping, but these two games deserve the physical treatment and I love it when they do packs like this.

Meanwhile, Europe just got a Gameboy poster set, which includes Metroid 2.

The Dread ones weren't impressive at all (but they look nice in their box), but we don't get enough Metroid stuff for me not to want this

I hope they put out a neat CE (though I doubt it). AND I hope they kept the motion controls too!

Unsurprisingly, Joymasher have done it again! Their previous games got physical releases, here's hoping for this one as well, I've been following its development for a looong time.

Gameplay and graphics look great and Inti rarely disappoint, so I'm definitely interested...but I am not a fan of the borderline loli anime girls at all and the VA I feel might get a tad annoying...(nothing against Japanese speech, I'd just prefer not have constant shouting during gameplay)

I thoroughly enjoyed VIII and IX, so count me in!

Xenoblade 2 is EASILY my least favourite in the series (though I prefer the main game to the Torna prequel), yet it is still absolutely fantastic, just like all the other games.

I gotta admit though, Pyra and Mythra, and the "anime fanservice" moments were definitely a huge issue for me. After the absolutely amazing first game and the fantastic X, this one just felt...off in a lot of ways.

I still liked it overall, but I have wonderful, vivid memories of the original Xenoblade, of XCX and of XC3...and none of XC2 whatsoever, which, I guess, speaks for itself.

In my book, XC1 and XCX are in a constant battle for the top spot (the story and characters in XC1 are obviously way more intricate though, so it usually takes the win, much as I love sci-fi and transforming mechs), XC3 is a close second...XC2 is a bit further back...and waaaaaay behind the rest of the pack is Torna.

This is more Hagane than it is Ninja Gaiden. Same as Cyber Shadow, which was much more Shadow of the Ninja than Ninja Gaiden. Joymasher's games never disappoint and I've been looking forward to this one since it was announced! Here's hoping for a physical release!

@Benjamin_K This is definitely the ONLY poor review of the game I've seen thus far. People seem to be praising it quite a bit. My best friend who's a huge Sonic fan, but doesn't shy about saying how awful most of the 3D games are, says he's loving it thus far (playing on Switch) and hasn't complained about bugs thus far (and again, he won't shy away from pointing them out just because he's a Sonic fan. If anything, he'd be more willing to complain).

@steely_pete Play-Asia has an English language physical edition available, if availability in Europe's the only thing stopping you

Just got my copy in Bulgaria as well. They attempted delivery on Friday, but I was out of the house and for some reason, Nintendo didn't put my phone number on the shipping label so the courier couldn't call me. But that way, their "estimate" of October 24th ended up being perfect!

The bottom of my box has a few dings, but I guess it's manufacturing issues, there was no damage to the shipping box, so I dare not complain. The lack of soundtrack of any kind is still a huge miss, but it's unreal to finally hold this in my hands!

@Sentenza Mine says DHL, but I believe it's their regular service that is handled by local post office, not their courier service.

I suppose some orders were shipped sooner, based on their location, so that everyone who managed to order might get their packages around the same time.

I too got an e-mail from the German store that my copy's been shipped. Tracking works so far and has an estimated delivery date for October 24th.

Funnily enough, it was shipped from Poland.

I was recently consulted by DC to help with the localization for my country (as one of my jobs is that of a comic book translator and I've been working on DC stuff for the past year or so)

@celo92 My bank statement says I was charged 0.00 Euro, but order went through and I've got a confirmation e-mail and everything. I believe the full charge comes once they ship the item (at least that's how it was for me back when I ordered the XC2 Special Edtion years ago).

Open Pre-Orders is where it's at. For all things I despise about Limited Run, they at least got THAT right...eventually.

If it's the latter - do you have Paypal? I'd be willing to help you out with the payment and you can pay me back via Paypal after that.

@Sentenza Does the Ireland site cover EU countries? I went with Germany as it's closest to Bulgaria and thought only they'd cover shipping to here, but if I can use a site in English, that's gonna make things easier.

@Otoemetry Tried a few unavailable items - the code on them has the "this item is out of stock" message and no mention of "backorder" from what I can tell. The exact message reads: "This product is available on backorder, please expect extended delivery times."

Don't get your hopes up too much though, it's been a decade since I did any programming and I'm quite rusty at this...

I dug around the code for the CE product page. Found a "This product is on backorder" message...hopefully that means there might be another batch on the way.

So, my brother-in-law, who's Japanese, just tried nabbing me a copy from there (as their re-sellers aren't quite as cheeky in their pricing) - it was about 45 pounds, which I was fine with. Sold while we were checking out. Found another one at the same price. Sold instantly as well...guess the insanity's not just in Europe...

@Koffyman While normally I agree that Special Editions feature a lot of extra fluff, the Xenoblade artbooks are some of the best I've seen in a CE and as someone who not only loves the series, but is interested in art and making of/development materials (and has the previous books), that artbook is just as an essential piece as the game itself.

Now, the steelbook I don't really care for...

EDIT: Seems to be a problem with the German store during sign-in. UK store works fine.

EDIT 2: Tried it on other regional stores as well - trying to log in anywhere, but the UK gives me the same error (my profile region's not set to UK). Logging in UK displays stuff in cart I've added on other stores, but doesn't log me in them...tried deleting cookies to see if it's an issue with my system, but it's not apparently...

Damn it, first time missing a Xenoblade SE...

I've been refreshing constantly, still haven't managed to get through to the German site...

My PC died a few days ago, so currently using a borrowed laptop. Totally forgot to set up a new e-mail alarm. Got the e-mail 2 hours ago while I was in the shower, somehow checked it right out of the bathroom, saw the e-mail, but have had no luck logging on to the German website (as that's the one that services my country)...was almost late for work at my second job, called my best friend who's working from home at the moment and is trying to log on as well, while I'm here in class and refreshing like crazy while teaching my lesson...

Nintendo, you can be so infuriating..

Comes to 200 BGN when I add in shipping. And there's gonna be 20% VAT on top of that + another 20 bucks or so in handling fees...much as I like it, I'm gonna have to pass, can't afford to spend over 1/5 of a monthly salary on a figure.

Joking aside though, a delay is usually for the best. I was listening to the OST of the first game last night and now feel like revisiting it. Might postpone awhile, so I can do it closer to the second game's release.

@MarioBrickLayer I actually don't have any on Switch. It's just a genre I've had a soft spot since I was a kid. Spent too much time playing "Virtua Cop 2" I guess
