@FX102A You might want to look into the Japanese CE then. That one comes with the artbook and a CD, which is different from the previous sampler CD they did for the 3DS port (at least in terms of artwork).

@olekmorawski It's not UK-only, but Europe-only. Somebody shared a link for a French retailer that also offers it. I'm fairly certain other European regions will get it as well.
I wasn't willing to wait for a local retailer to stock it though, as this is one edition I didn't want to miss, so I just ordered it from the UK via a middle-man service. Won't arrive on launch, but at least the Monado keychain is cool.

Heads up, people! Pre-orders are live at the UK store! 90 pounds, comes with an extra Monado keychain!

@Ralizah Not in Europe unfortunately. The PAL release was digital only. I have it, but I guess I'll redownload it, just to be on the safe side...even if it wasn't that great of a game.

I've been wanting to play them for a while now and was even considering the physical, but all this talk about how maddening some of the puzzles can be has kinda got me worried...it's not that I'm afraid of puzzle-solving or old-school controls, heck, that's what attracted me to the games in the first place, but this sounds like it might be borderline annoying, rather than challenging, but fun...

Kamen Rider: Climax Scramble Zi-O

Honestly, can't think of anything else off the top of my head that I own and wasn't reviewed...there are probably a few others though, as normally, I always check for reviews on here if it's not a mainstream title.

THIS is the game that got me into RPGs...I usually avoid those, I just don't have the time to invest in them...but playing Xenoblade on the Wii...that was one of the best summers of my life and naturally, I fell in love with the series. While I am unsure if I'll sit down and replay it anytime soon, if they give me a nice CE with a thick artbook, I'll definitely buy this version as well!

Beat 'Em Ups are among my favourite types of games, so I'm always on the lookout for new ones.

I'd put "Two Crude Dudes" / "Crude Buster" on there as well, but I have a soft spot for that cheese-fest of a game.

I'd forgotten that "Mutation Nation" was on the Switch. Recently grabbed "99 Vidas" for a buck, seems to be worth that, plays nicely and doesn't look bad at all.

"Slaps & Beans" was great, if a bit buggy in a few places. Having grown up on Bud & Terrence, I really enjoyed it all the way through.

"River City Girls" was also absolutely brilliant. I hadn't had so much fun with a game in a long time...beat it in a single sitting!

Easily one of my favourite developers out there! Here's hoping they'll be around much longer, making awesome games!

HOLY SH*T!! As someone who lives and breathes Tokusatsu, THIS is what I needed in my life. All aboard the hype train!!

I own it on Wii and even though I am unlikely to replay it anytime soon, I will sooo double dip for this game! Especially if they give us a Collector's Edition with a nice artbook!!

And don't get me started on my hopes for a port of XCX! For someone who rarely plays RPGs, I sure love my Xenoblade. XCX is easily one of my all-time favourite games! Spent so much time with it on my Wii U...Getting a hold of that game was an epic in its own right...

If the menu doesn't say "EliminaOR" boat duel, count me out...

Joking aside though, love me some "Shadow of the Ninja"! So glad we keep getting 3rd party titles.

GOOD! It deserves it! It's genuinely fun and I hope it makes enough money to warrant a sequel, hopefully not set on Earth this time.

@Dirty0814 No, but it could've easily been PG-13. There's violence and profanity done well e.g. "RoboCop". There's violence and profanity done in a tasteless, moronic manner e.g. the recent DC animated films and this show. Do you seriously want a conversation about having...intimate intercourse with a goat in Castlevania? 'Cause I as hell sure don't!

Did I need to see Hector being naked in a cage? No, I didn't.
But, I will say that Season 2 was better than Season 1, even if I still don't like the way the show handles violence and profanity, so I am cautiously optimistic...

I'm not saying it because I really like Sonic. Heck, that only makes me way more critical of it. I'm telling you to go see it because IT'S GOOD!!

It's not Oscar material by any means, don't get me wrong. But everything that could've and probably should've gone wrong...somehow didn't! It's funny and is chockful of easter eggs and references! But most importantly, it has HEART!

I am so excited to get the OST on vinyl! We need physical releases of more Virt OSTs! This was something I was really hoping for, alongside "Double Dragon Neon". I have the games on Wii U, but they're quite good, so since I'm getting the vinyl anyway, I'll probably get the games too. They're worth it.

Is it just me...or does the game look WAAAAAAAAY better than the movie in terms of design and animation quality?

Anyway, I've been dying to try out the game for years now, still haven't picked it up, but hopefully will soon. I'm definitely checking out the movie as well, just wondering if I should do so after I've beaten the game.

Now I'm afraid that we might end up seeing Sonic's bare feet at some point...this is not what I signed up for

It's a great game, but it's a shame that we didn't get a physical edition of Season 2 instead of this...at least it went on a great sale.

I've always wanted to try these out! They remind me of Montezuma's Revenge which I used to play a lot on the Apple II and I've been hoping these would get a localized edition on Switch...don't really care about the puzzle, NIS have definitely had better-looking releases, but it's definitely on my watch list.

I picked up the Standard Japanese Edition a while ago (the CE that included the console games was waaaaaaaaaaaay too expensive).

Considering either picking up the console edition or getting the multipack with the CDs and artbook (depending on the price, obviously) and then selling my Japanese edition...

The NA box art is easily the best of the bunch! It's a favourite cover of mine!

It's interesting how for NGII, the US box-art is very similar to the Japanese one, but it's still a redrawn picture.

I'm still awaiting my CE from Strictly Limited and I seriously hope it doesn't have the same mistake in the manual (as far as I know, their edition was done completely separately from the regular release).

If it's true, I'd definitely say it's an improvement. Looks rather well in that second shot, though it also kinda makes him look younger.

Looks a lot like "Slain"...which makes me think it's going to have the same problems as "Slain". It certainly wasn't a terrible game, but it's certainly not a top-tier 2D action game either, so I'll pass on this. Unless there's a sale for a buck or something.

@Tim_Vreeland Rogue Corps might be SOMEWHAT fun, but it's not proper Contra, so it's natural for people to be annoyed at it. It's very similar to how Federation Force was seen. Only difference is, Federation Force, albeit not Metroid proper, was genuinely good, while judging from the demo and the trailers, Rogue Corps does way more things wrong than it does right. It's ugly, it plays sluggishly, it takes a lot of the fun out of Contra and its attempts at humour come off as uninspired - trying too hard and failing instead of actually being funny (like Contra Rebirth and Double Dragon Neon for example). Like a lot of people say, "Blazing Chrome" is a much better and much more needed revival of the Contra franchise than Rogue Corps can ever hope to be. But naturally, Konami's gonna blame it on us for dishing out a bad game.

Wait...is Batman: The Enemy Within dropping to 12.49 or is that a 12.49 discount from its 39.99 price (eShop still shows it at full price). Because if it's 12.49 I'm getting it in a heartbeat! I loved season 1 and was really hoping SOMEONE would do a physical for season 2, but hey, at that price, I'll take a digital version too. It's better than nothing and the PC version of season 1 was so botched, I decided to hold out for the Switch release.

Downloading the demo, but in all honesty, the game looked like crap from the very beginning. It's sad though, because they're finally doing something with Contra, but it won't sell, because it's bad and they'll stop doing things with Contra, blaming it on us for not buying Rogue Corps. An old-school approach would've been better. Heck, a port of "Hard Corps Uprising" would've been better!!

The new demo, while vastly superior to the first one, felt lackluster. There are mech games out there that give off a much more gratifying experience (Zone of the Enders). Heck, I had more fun with Assault Gunners HD on the Switch than this demo...still, will consider the game, but not at full price.

Already pre-ordered the physical of River City Girls and definitely getting Ni No Kuni as well. Blasphemous is also one I've had my eye on for ages. I'm still on the fence about Daemon X Machina, but I still can't shake off the unpleasant taste the demo left...

"Astral Chain" And as someone who absolutely aced Bayonetta and is pretty great at Ninja Gaiden, I'm amazed how much I suck at the combat in this game. 2-3 "D" ratings on the first chapter made me switch to "Casual" mode, 'till I get the hang of things
