this is my type of game. finally. i found the one indie that just calls my name

I just wanna see a glimpse of the game, even if the slightest. I already know the game will be good because PG delivers but imagine how good it'll look, especially considering Bayonetta 2 was a big step up from the 1st one.

@KoopaTrooper Agreed! Probably biggest gripe with this is Atlus getting free hype for a supposed port they refused to outright say was false.

@Arehexes Do you blame them? Joker released in Smash and there were no other games besides Q2 that joker showed up in. A lot of people and "insiders" believed Persona 5 was coming, and instead of Atlus shutting down the rumors, they capitalized on the hype. I'm not mad but extremely disappointed considering its another warriors musou type game.

@westman98 it still would be nice for Nintendo to release products, hardware, software, etc. outside of the gaming sphere. I mean Sony and Microsoft have their hands in numerous industries to make money from and it would be cool to see Nintendo do the same with their own stamp of quality.

This is why I love Nintendo. There are reasons people keep coming back to their systems/ games and that's them cultivating brand loyalty and evergreen titles. They're slacking in many areas rn with the switch (i.e Switch online) but they have the best consumer approach out of the big 3 IMO

@JaxonH I never understood the want for so many 7th gen games on the switch. If anything we need way more games that are current gen to be ported/developed for the switch. I guess I'm just one of the few switch fans tired of all the ports from 7th gen.

I agree they shouldve either left Arena out focused on the conquest gameplay or mentioned all the modes. As a longtime Smite player, this review doesn’t help any new players at all.

@Heavyarms55 I guess I'm one of the few who find the play anywhere feature as smart for Microsoft and Xbox in general. I pretty much view the Xbox One as a stepping stone to Microsoft's next console sorta like the Wii U was to Switch.

@link3710 that makes sense as he explained on twitter, that he wasn't in charge of Bayonetta 2 and but was for the original Bayonetta. It all makes sense as to why he'd be annoyed over thank you's for a game that wasn't his work.

@NoxAeturnus I agree to a certain extent but I hope we can all consider how much game development cost. I wouldn't expect NMH3 if Travis Strikes Again flops. Games that are good and score high can STILL flop sales wise. Again, I completely agree with what you're saying but I also acknowledge the reasons behind that statement Suda51 made.

@RevampedSpider Smite is actually pretty fun and different from standard mobas. It has a lot of game modes as well aside from the basic 5v5 tower sieging gameplay. Always worth a revisit

@OorWullie I think Smash Ultimate is going to be right next to Splatoon 2 with having ridiculous amounts of content in the game. I guess this is why Nintendo is so hesitant with discounting their games.

So. Much. Content. In. This. Game. No, seriously, I'm astounded just how much more these Nintendo titles are being updated with new content whether it be free or paid DLC. Now I realize why people reference these as evergreen titles.

@alasdair91 That gameplay is from PSP and 2008. What do you expect?

@CanisWolfred Seems like Mobas aren't your thing because it does require a lot of knowledge to know how to play well. But when this does come to switch, and you decide to tackle it, let me know and I can run you down whats new and such

Ever since I saw what they did with the Castlevania series on Netflix, I've been intrigued to see other game to series adaptations. Also, Netflix has been killing it lately with their originals, so here's to hoping it's gonna be good.

@Spoony_Tech the online imo is fine as is. If it was anymore expensive, I would be more upset but the service can only get better from here.

@iLikeUrAttitude If you havent't, give bayonetta series a try. Boss fights are epic and combat is fun

I'm so glad a big developer such as Epic Games actually reached out to Nintendo for a helping hand in optimizing their game. I feel sooo many other games could have turned out to be better ported on the Switch if those devs maybe swallowed their pride and asked for help.

@Findonovan95 a revision right now wouldnt help Nintendo or the switch out at all. The fragmentation and it possibly eating into the basic switch sales. I'd say 2020 earliest for a revision.

It's kind of cool how almost all developers are loving playing the switch. Even if a number of games won't or can't make it to the platform, it feels good knowing there's still love for the Nintendo Switch regardless.

Nintendo can achieve this if they continue to double down on the holiday season. But with what little they're offering other than Smash and Pokemon, it worries me. Here's hoping we get another direct and they surprise us again with a bunch of titles.

@EightBitMan I completely disagree, people who still compare the switch to Wii U are brainless to me and how long has it been since Nintendo proved they have better relations with 3rd party developers when it comes to Switch? Ubisoft not porting a 3 year old game bc its impossible makes sense as they NEVER had any good programmers over at Ubi compared to other publishers. The fact alone Doom: Eternal, a brand new multiplat game is coming to switch (with more spec requirements and strain) and not Rainbow just tells me and others that its Ubisofts incompetence. Simple as that. I don't mind not having Rainbow on switch, as I have it on another platform already. I'm bothered by the fact Ubi is blaming hardware instead of them just simply not having the talent or developers to do it.

Nice video, but I feel the talking parts were unnecessary. Our eyes can see the differences in the stages, we don't need to keep hearing how this one changed a lot, this one changed a little for every stage comparison.

I'd love for Slime Rancher to come to switch. Which is what this game looks a lot like.

@EightBitMan that has nothing to do with Nintendo and more of Capcom. I and many others would rather have a new Monster Hunter built from the ground up for the switch than a half-baked port of World.

@Cheez I disagree, I've seen many people and a vast majority praise how well the Wii U games were, but the console itself was BAD and games just didn't thrive at all there, as well as terrible 3rd party support. The switch is the reason these great Wii U games are selling and taking off. Also while the switch may not have the best 3rd party support, you can't tell the current support it has is worst than what it used to be.

The switch is a godsend for Nintendo and many gamers and that's why I disagree with sentiments like yours. These wii u ports you guys look down upon are completely new to non wii u owners which is a lot. Other consoles in every new generation do this, so why can't Nintendo port these great games from a failed console and get praise for it?

@BranJ0 why does any of that matter when the PS4 is ahead of the pack by a longshot in sales. It looks bad on them and very anti-consumer for not allowing it. Hell, I'm ok with them being against crossplay but don't hold my epic games account captive bc you wanna play hard ball.

@Nincompoop that's not true at all. Fifa 18 outsold the PS4 version in Japan so clearly there's a desire of some kind for sports titles on the switch. EA just doesn't like Nintendo plain and simple.

@carlos82 input lag and bad internet connections are the biggest turn offs though. No one should ever support this practice and tbh Capcom couldve kept this.

@MrMac this is the biggest drawback to me as well. Nintendo does so much right with their games but so much wrong with the basic features and online. I'm still hopeful that theres more to be revealed or theyre working on things like proper voice chat, friends list, messaging system, etc.

@Varkster You're gonna get your feelings hurt when you compare games and expecting the other one to follow suit. That Ni No Kuni comparison was odd and misplaced. Also its clear GF has been working on Pokemon switch for more than 1.5 years. They said themselves that the younger staff worked on US/UM while the senior staff worked on another project.

Are we going to ignore that beautiful custom made switch? Forget the game, I'm sure it'll be a good port but does this mean qe could see more "special editions" of switches from other companies and Nintendo themselves?

Splatoon 2 is not dropping off the charts in Japan lol. It will still be on the charts by the time the 3rd one comes out.
