Red flag right there. I was considering a purchase, but now that'll depend on the nature of those purchases as well.
My guess would be the usual Season Pass stuff which Nintendo loves to do so their games will effectively cost above 80€ - but I wouldn't be surprised if it were something... worse.
Hopefully legislators won't stop until they rip the whole lootbox fiasco apart.
I'd say they're as bad as traditional gambling, but I actually think lootboxes are even worse. In regular gambling you're betting real money for the slim chance of getting a bigger return of real money. With lootboxes, you ditch real money into the void for the slim chance to get some digital thingy in a specific game that'll be obsolete in a matter of years or, in the case of FIFA, not even that long. They're just money vacuums in which even when you win, you haven't really won squat.
I just watched the Ring Fit Adventure video expecting absolute cringe, but instead I got... something absolutely standard?
Bar some weird body language, it was mostly just informative and concise. No lame jokes or antics, no screaming, no excessive focus on the presenters. Frankly, I don't see the big deal.
If these voice actresses were good enough to land the jobs, they should keep them. There's a very bitter irony in people thinking they should not simply because of their race.
Out of all 'leakers' there have ever been and will ever be, LeakyPandy has proven to be the most untrustworthy of all. At least trolls on 4chan don't present themselves with such self-importance.
Probably a Day 1 buy. Launches very close to my birthday, too.
Can't wait to play as Katakuri, Reiju and hopefully Kaidou. Plus every other character already in the roster will probably feel quite fresh as well, with the new aerial combos.
Interesting how GameCube sold barely over half as many hardware units but it's almost equal on software sales. Not many people may have bought it, but that says something about its appealing library.
An article on Itoi, a first post begging for another game despite the creator's clear-cut wish to leave the franchise as is. Ahh, never gets old.
Anyway, I always enjoy hearing what this man has to say, and I like the anechdote about him being 'recruited' as the result of a passing comment on a TV show. If he hadn't said that, or had Yamauchi been watching a different program, we wouldn't have some great, quirky games today.
It's so weird they'd do that to begin with, considering that in recent times Nintendo has been gearing towards not censoring content, theirs or otherwise. Someone must really have a bone to pick with swimsuits, because the game is very much tame otherwise.
Very reasonable decision. The game we got is as close to perfection as it gets when it comed to precision platformers, and sometimes when you've got something as beautiful as this IP, it's best to leave its legacy as is.
Interested in whatever they come up with next. Really talented people.
Seems only fair to give a shoutout, considering Microsoft went the extra mile to allow Banjo into the game and has been generally supportive of the system ever since Cuphead.
It's not so much "random" as it is a rare example of a Nintendo employee being openly nice to the competition.
@TheBlue10 Yeah. It reeks of someone who never bothered learning a thing about the gameplay and just ZR'd his way through the lowest difficulty like a mindless drone.
@Preposterous I'd argue she's shown about as much as the other two in terms of actual attacks, if not a bit less. Mostly she made do with regular hits because everyone else was a small fry to her, then you have Prometheus and Zeus with their sun/thunder attacks. Her most relevant techniques shown in the arc were definitely Life or Treat and Ikoku (which will probably be one of her specials). It's a good bunch of stuff but they'll still have to get creative with most of the moveset (which I'm fine with).
People are celebrating this when all it means is that they're normalizing loot boxes by making a small compromise, whereas what should be done is remove them altogether.
Basically a pattern learning exercise with some precision jumping involved. Looks cool to see it being cleared but it's honestly not that big of a deal.
It'd be a lot harder if there wasn't a completion video to use as reference. Then again, having it is only fair because technically the creator also beat it by knowing his own patterns.
"It’s a great shame because we went into it looking for a bit of fun"
Right. I'm sure you were. Definitely not looking to slam another "anime titty game" for them clicks.
These games aren't my cup of tea either, but it's so easy to see where you folks are coming from. And regardless of whether this one's actually that trite or not, there was only one direction this was possibly going towards.
New Danganronpa stuff would be awesome to hear about, regardless of systems. Kodaka is no longer with them since he's working with Uchikoshi at their new studio, but surely the rest of the usual DR team could whip up something good.

Re: Fans Are Working On A Game Boy Advance-Style Demake Of Fire Emblem: Three Houses
@nkarafo Are you implying a proper Japanese to English translation doesn't take a lot of work? If so, you have no idea what you're talking about.

There ya go.
Re: Comparing The Witcher Games To The Books Is Like Comparing "Spaghetti Carbonara With A Bicycle", Says Creator
The guy sounds like a total douche. Typical narrow-minded, intransigent old person.

Re: Game Freak's Little Town Hero Gets A Big Physical Release This Spring
Doubling down on a digital product that bombed with a physical edition doesn't seem a sound idea.

Re: Random: No, Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Isn't Coming To Microsoft's HoloLens
They're so clumsy in how they shoehorn the game's title that it's almost endearing.
Re: Random: Is Nintendo UK Getting Cheekily Political With This Animal Crossing Poster?
Sounds to me like it's just you guys getting political. Not even cheekily, just forcefully.

@Ralizah That one looks like a franchise name abbreviation followed by a sub-title in understandable English. UNIST's full title is entirely nonsense.

@PBandSmelly Being a hipster follows no logic. It's all about bitterness and fake self-importance.

@Preposterous Whitebeard/Blackbeard? I'd say Shanks too but I imagine by "actual moveset" you mean one that is not made up.

Reiju looks amazing. I wish they had also shown at least a Katakuri teaser, but there's always next time.
