Nice article. Thinking about it, it's pathetic when someone says: "Why do you play console X, or Z? They don't have many games!" I own so many titles that I could build a 300 centimetre high statue based of plastic covers. Games, that I've bought but never played, never even released them from their packaging. So, what is better? To say, that you don't own a lot of games, but to appreciate every single minute playing them or to tell people, that you collect games, and to have such a lot untouched, that they're getting covered in dust? I feel bad, having invested thousands of € for games, just to look at them like a collection of stamps.
I also got the Special Edition of Xenoblade 2 on release day. It's a nice package overall, but I didn't like the game and stopped after playing it for 20 hours. Couldn't stand that annoying Nopon and Rex as a main character. I loved Xenoblade 1 on Wii though. It's one of my all-time-favourite JRPGs.
I should try out Torna, since the cast of characters seems more appealing for my taste. Jin is awesome. ^^
Yep, I also didn't mean the Nintendolife-community to be cringe. I'm actually very surprised, that the majority consists of reasonable fans.
On YouTube, the Nintendo fanboys are the worst, talking about my experiences from comment sections. I'd also recommend to avoid those. The fanboy cringe is real there.
Regarding Bowsette: She's sexy. Wouldn't mind to have her in a "Super Princess Peach 2" kinda game.
@Anti-Matter Oh my God. Please stop that childish fanboy-bs already. People like you make me blush sometimes to like and support Nintendo products. O_o
@Topic: I don't give an eff about cross play, but it is a nice move seeing Sony doing... "For the Players".
I liked the Vita more than the Switch - as a handheld. But Sony didn't support it. It was killed by their creators. I think, another handheld by the PlayStation makers would face a similar destiny. I don't think Sony would beat the likes of Zelda and Mario in the portable market anyway. They'll always remain second with okay'ish sales numbers. :/
Yep. I also found Zelda: BotW to be extremely boring. Especially the design of the side quests. Welp, I played Horizon before Zelda, so the expectations were a bit too high though.
Mario Odyssey was good. My favourite Mario game so far. Not the best game ever made, but yeah... a really good one.
I'm happy to read that there are still people in the world not hyping up everything that is Nintendo.
I own the Switch and PS4 version of SNK Heroines. I can't recommend the Switch version. It is another poor port with pixelated characters and constant frame drops. The PS4 game runs smoothly and looks sharp. Perhaps Japanese reviews pointed out the flaws of Nintendo's version. That may be the reason why it's selling twice as much on PS4.
I'm also playing Dragon Quest XI and Spiderman at the moment. Amazing games. I doubt Dragon Quest XI will make it without some serious downgrade to the Switch though. I'd still prefer a localised version of the 3DS Dragon Quest XI. It has a slightly different art style and feels like an other interpretation of the game instead of being a downgraded doppelganger.
It is very accessible, but also very ugly though. I didn't expect much, since the graphics looked simplified on the trailers. But it's very very pixelated to a degree that you can't even see the closed mouths of some characters, even on my 22" full hd monitor. Is it very a 720p game or below? :/
Daaamn daugh. Switch games are extremely popular these days. Amazon is sold out in my country and my local retailer had only one copy left. At 10 o' clock. O_O
In comparison: The PS4-shelves were full of Dragon Quest XI and even the Spiderman PlayStation Pro was still available.
@Blizzia @SDF_Macross77 Nice to read, that the 8bitdo works good. If the leaks are not correct and Nintendo won't release classic controllers with proper dpads, I'll also get an 8bitdo or adapter to use the Dualshock or - even better - my old Wii Classic Controller. ^^
I wasn't a big fan of Labo. But I'm curious to see, how they'll implement it in a 'bigger' game like Yoshi. ^^ The leaked title also sounds 'Labo-ish' to me.
@Blizzia Thanks for the advice. I'll wait until Nintendo has released firmware 6.0.0. It is rumored, that the Switch will support controllers similar to the SNES and NES classics. I hope, that Nintendo will also release some official ones of those controllers with Switch support. Otherwise, I've found out that there also exist solutions by manufactor 8bitdo, that look and feel very nice for playing Beat'em'Ups and Platformers, like this one here:
I'll get it tomorrow for the Switch. I'm a noob in fighting games. It's a pro for me, that the game is accessible for beginners. I prefer the dpad of the PS4 dualshock more for fighting games, but in Europe SNK Heroines will only be available digitally for Sony's console.
I play mostly on the TV with my Switch. It is enough for me to use it as a console for the typical Nintendo exclusive titles and some indie games. The rest lands on the PS4 (Pro). :>
@Moshschocker I agree. As an owner of the Wii U and PS4, I found this Switch-year disappointing. For 2019 I hope to see at least Bayonetta 3, Prime 4 and Fire Emblem Tree Houses.
Wait, we know each other from the M! Games-website, don't we?

Okay. So it is a nice way of saying: "Keep on port begging. We like it."

@Equinox Oh, sorry. My doppelgangers like to mess around sometimes. And thank you.
Re: Reminder: Nintendo's Mobile RPG Dragalia Lost Is Now Available, In Some Countries At Least
I'd play it on Switch or 3DS. On smartphone? Not so much.

Not.
Re: Wireless NES Controllers Won't Work With Other Games On Nintendo Switch
Lame. The Joycon and Pro Controller dpads are horrible for platformers and fighting games. Won't buy those NES pads then.

I prefer this design over the Pokémon one.
