Has the first one been patched on Switch? The launch version ran horribly!

Have they already patched out Spongebob's performance problems on Switch?

Funny thing is: It’s only a matter of time until Nintendo ninjas will take down those emulators. And on top, Big N won’t bring an alternative to play GameCube games on NSO, etc.. “For the Players”, I guess…

If it still (after lots of patches) wouldn’t look and run like sh*t on Switch... Metroidvanias are best suited for handhelds. But: Guess I’ll play my version on the Series X for the Journey update then.

For me, 30 FPS are sufficient to enjoy a game. But they have to be stable - for the most part. Unfortunately, there are a lot of ports on Switch, that can’t deliver 30 FPS without regularly dipping into the low 20s. All Compile Hearts ports come to mind.

Yes. Sadly I’ll never get why people like those interactive movies with little gameplay elements. I’d rather watch a movie. :/ Focusing on that type of game, Sony made me switch to Nintendo systems. :/ To each their own, right.

It’s okay if you like those kind of games. : ) I personally don’t. Playing Uncharted Golden Abyss on my Vita at the moment, and it’s boring af. It’s one big cutscene with a bit of shooting and climbing. :/

It will definitely sell better on a console, that’s popular in Japan, doesn’t butcher Japanese games in any way (censorship, etc.) and hasn’t focused on westernized, cinematic, story driven games. (:

Ok, seriously: I agree, the Wii was underpowered and I was jealous looking at PS3 and 360 at that time. But again: Nintendo hardware is primarily meant for exclusives and besides the low specs, I had a lot of fun with them. The same goes for the Switch. I get my multiplats on other consoles/PC. Even though a Switch maintaining 720p/30fps all the time would have been sufficient for me to also use it for thirds.

It wouldn’t sell on PlayStation anyway. PlayStation, for me personally, has become a CoD-/Battlefield-/GTA-/FIFA-machine that dislikes more niche games. Good, when the remake also comes to other consoles.
