I just don't buy the whole 'Link is only a template for the player'. He is an established character, with personality. This is literally just pandering. Maybe I'll cry about Zelda never being male, that's definitely discrimination.

If you're going to make a female protagonist just make it Zelda.

@Splatburst True, but Smash can differentiate between actual connection errors and self disconnects so I fail to see why they can't implement something similar.

There are certainly more stable online shooters that don't penalise you for connection errors you have no control over.

The galaxy games are objectively the pinnacle of the series.

@JaxonH You're really this worried? Just pair them up with someone else sooner. If you give the option to turn it off you may as well not bother including it because that goes against making the game inclusive in the first place. Are you supposed to just stop the character being gay?

Heh, not bad. Nintendo can laugh at themselves, which is one the great things about them.

It does look great, but I'm not sure I'm interested enough to buy it. Never played much Yoshi/Kirby games. A month from now I may still be playing Witcher 3 and Splatoon.
