I got the bundle, was not exactly cheap so just playing MKW and Switch 1 games at the moment. Thinking of getting Fantasy Life or Azuma but in no rush as still have a backlog.

Considering getting this game, does anyone have it on S2 and does it look good??

@Athropos unfortunately Cyberpunk is not for me. But played a bit more MKW now and enjoying it more. Am interested in Donkey Kong too.

I gave it a 9. Before I was thinking of getting it eventually down the line but now I will get it pretty soon.

@Medic_alert I ahree that S1 should be nowhere near S2 but so far I haven’t seen anything good on S2. I only have MKW and that doesn’t impress me much, mostly because MK8 already looked so good and still does. Although I can see clear differences when watching side by side videos. I am sure in time better releases will come along, I don’t need latest and greatest graphics, just want to feel I made the right choice getting a Switch 2.

Some of these visuals are making me worry about the Switch 2! They just look like Switch 1 games to me!

@roboshort I was lucky enough to get the presale invite from Nintendo so I managed to get one. I got the bundle because no way was I going to pay that much for MKW.

Great news but am also disappointed with the high game prices. It means I will buy a lot less games for Switch 2 compared to Switch 1.

Have never played Splatoon but this new one might be for me.

I didn’t think Nintendolife would give this anything less than an 8 because it’s a Nintendo first party game.

I also think if it weren’t it would have gotten a six out of ten st the most.

I am curious to learn about all the different bits but still doubt I will pay money for this.

Well I hope it looks better when you’re playing it than it does in these screenshots because they look just as blurry as Switch 1.

@John_Deacon AP was also a tech demo to show some of the new stuff in PS at the time. But it was also a fully fledged gaming experince. Whereas this is literally just a tech demo and should therefore cost nothing imo. Not to mention the graphics look dull as hell and don't showcase the Switch 2 capabilities much, apart from perhaps mouse controls....

I will watch someone play it on yt and save my money towards the other ridiculously high priced games.

Astro’s Playroom was also…..actually….really good……and really included at no extra price.

I bought the bundle because Mario Kart World then only costs 40 Euro instead of 90. Future Nintendo releases that cost this much I will only buy when they are in a sale or buy them with Payback points so they are essentially free. Hopefully third party games will remain affordable, i.e. 40-60 Euros or less.

Only getting it if it’s released on physical cartridge and no game key! 😉

So do any of the Switch games see any benefits at all on Switch2 or just the same? Is it only the specific Switch2 Edition releases like BOTW that see any improvements?

I disagree that we all need to chill out. Most of us can afford 10 Euro or whatever it is, but it just reeks of greediness from Nintendo and I am very surpised at them. Also, it just looks like a tutorial so yeah, no way I would buy this even if it gets knocked down in price lol. It should be free and Kart World and DK Bananza should each be 10 Euro cheaper at the very least.

I went for the bundle simply because I don’t want to pay that ridiculous price for Mario Kart further down the line.

I really hope later levels are more jungle and DK-like. At the moment it looks like a cross between Odyssey and Zelda.

I am surprised at people saying there was technical problems with the presentation. My stream from the Nintendo official page didn’t drop out once.

I think this is the first time I have really been disappointed with Nintendo. Actually, disgusted is a better word.

I really hope they change their mind about making that tutorial a paid experience. That just makes them look extremely greedy.

I thought the games were going to be 70 Euro and was already on the fence, but if they are going to be 80 Euro that really makes me wonder whether to bother getting Switch 2. Certainly not a release day must buy for me anymore. If the games are discounted now and then down to 50-60 I would be a lot more tempted.
