Re: Nintendo's Switch 2 Announcement Reportedly Impacted Steam Deck Sales

@VoidofLight My main problems are just...it's so freakin' buggy...and heavy...and the touch pads are a pain to use ironically, I normally don't like gaming on my PC, but playing games on the Deck just has its own problems. My Deck just sits there collecting dust, and when I feel like I want to give it a chance, I recharge it and get it ready, only to forget about quickly and go back to playing games on the Switch instead. lol

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Donkey Kong Country Returns HD?

The port itself is meh...I seriously don't know why they decided to move this game to freakin' Unity. Whenever I hear Unity, I just KNOW the game will have some sort of issue, performance, bugs, crashes...anything. It was the same story with the Super Mario RPG remake, both games are great, but Unity just...brings them down just a little.

Right now the only thing that's bugging me about DKCR HD is the loading screen, loading times is...fine, whatever, I don't care...but the music and SFX are way too loud. I also started to notice the audio being choppy here and there as I got to World 2. >.>

Re: Retro Staff Credits Removed From Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, Forever Entertainment Confirmed As Devs

At this point I don't really care, it's stupid, but also people are overreacting. So, like with Metroid Prime Remastered, I'm still getting this game. The only thing that's actually bothering me is that this is a full-priced game. At least Metroid Prime was cheaper...and that game had a lot more work put into it for the remaster. this is just...the Wii version but in HD it seems.

Re: Best Of 2024: The Trauma Of Giygas & Growing Up In EarthBound

I think when I was little I never cared too much about RPGs, I saw earthbound but barely played it...same could be said about Super Mario RPG. Funny story with that game is that when I was little I thought that game was "fake" or a ripoff or something, since the game starts out as you fighting Bowser. xD

But yeah, Earthbound, I like how unique it is compared to other oldschool RPGs, especially with how HP and damage works. Getting hit with a fatal attack and panicking to get through the menus to heal in time as the HP goes down, what an intense rush. lol
