@AirElephant
I think some of these games have only been released in arcades, Higemaru for example. So I think it's possible that they include the arcade version of games like Forgotten Worlds, Gun Smoke or Knights of the Round.
Water Margin is a Mega Drive/Genesis beat 'em up that was only released is China. It's supposed to be pretty good, and it got a fan translation a couple of years ago. It's probably the translated version they included here.
There is also a free piece of DLC for both Hyrule Warriors Legends and Hyrule Warriors (Wii U) this week. Medli joins as a playable character, and goes well with the Master WW Adventure map
@Superzone13 This is a list of eShop games only, that's what peek-a-boo means by you not having read the article properly. Games with physical releases will be a seperate list.
Really not a fan of the soundtrack, I don't think it fits the look of the game nor the gameplay at all. Gameplay looks pretty fun, tho. I might pick it up if it isn't too expensive.
It's probably Swampert who is called Laglarge in Japan, spelled Raguraaji (ラグラージ) in katakana. That combined with the fact that Blaziken and Sceptile is already in the game, I would be surprised if it isn't Swampert.
I already have both games on Xbox Live Arcade and Mega Drive Cartridges, so this doesn't affect me much. However, I'm glad they give a heads up before they make delistings such as these. Same thing a couple of years ago when the R-Type game were delisted from Wii Virtual Console, they announced it well in time so I could buy them before they were gone forever.
Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 for me this week, I've been looking forward to that one, especially since Chronicles 2 never made it outside Japan. Don't know about the DLC though, kind of a lot and kind of expensive, as it always seems to be the case with Koei Tecmo nowadays. The DLC for Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is just ridiculous.
@Bat-Moves98 Yes, sadly. I always want my poop to be a deep and atmospheric single player experience but instead I get this hectic four person thing, with balls on the side.
I'm definitely picking this up day one, just not on Wii U. I'm going to go with Xbox One for this game, unless I buy both versions just to support Iga and the genre.
@KeeperBvK Well, Supergrafx can be played in the same slot as Turbo and PCE, SNES and Genesis can be played in the same slots as SFC and MD, while NES would have needed it's own cartridge slot. Since the system is intended for the japanese market, I'm not surprised that they don't prioritize NES.
Do you have to dump the games onto the small thing and then connect the small thing to the TV, or can you just have the big thing plugged in all the time and play with the cartridges inserted?
@NinjaWaddleDee There's probably not going to be any difference in the graphics department for this game, so buy it for the console which controller you like best. I think the Wii U Pro Controller is better suited for 2D platforming(and pretty much everything else) than the DS4, so I would go with the Wii U version
Yes, finally some Virtual Console after two empty weeks
I'm picking up Street Gangs, Kirby's Adventure Wii and Nightmare in Dreamland (already have Dreamland 1-3). And of course the Mario Kart DLC since I have the season pass.
Btw, if it's the US version of Street Gangs, shouldn't it be called River City Ransom?
sigh No Virtual Console games this week either. Well, I guess you could count both Pandora's Tower and Fantasy Zone II 3D, I am probably going to get both of them.
I have waited so long for this, can't wait to finally play it I didn't know they had added two songs to the game. I wish they had added Shiny World from Outrun 2, it's a fantastic track!
Awesome! I would've bought this as a stand alone game, so downloading this for free is just fantastic I loved Shovel Knight so much, my favourite game of last year. Can't wait for more!
Two NES games I've never even heard of, from Culture Brain, quite intriguing. I'm gonna have to check the videos for them when they're up on the eShop and if they look good I'll most likely buy them
Come on, I need the first one here in Europe right now. Hell, I needed it like six months ago! I've been craving for this game for so long.
I love other Inti games, like the Mega Man Zero series and Mega Man 9-10. I hope they get to make Mega Man 11 and/or Mega Man X9 in the future but I'll gladly take some Gunvolt in the meantime.
The screen is too zoomed in in the GBA port, so you can't see everything you are supposed to see. So for example, you have much shorter time to react to incoming enemy shots, spikes etc.

Knights of the Round is one of my favourite beat 'em ups
I wonder if it's the SNES or arcade version.

No VC = no fun!
Re: Nintendo Download: 25th August (Europe)

This game is not for me.

Have they confirmed this won't come to Europe?
Really sad if that is the case.

Re: A New Shin Megami Tensei Announcement Has Been Teased by Atlus
Well, since it's on the website for SMT IV, could it just be a port for another system? SMT IV for Vita or phones maybe?
Re: Super Famicom Exclusive The Amazing Spider-Man: Lethal Foes Gets Translated
Why is there a typical elevator sound effect when you jump? What where they thinking there?
Apart from irritating sound effects, this looks pretty fun
Re: Nintendo Download: 27th August (Europe)
No Virtual Console, always disappointing
Re: The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes Dated, Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water to Have Free and Limited Edition Versions
@ALinkttPresent The name of the series is Zero in Japan and Project Zero in Europe, it's called Fatal Frame only in North America.

Re: Metroid Prime Producer Wants to Make Another Sequel With Samus, "Not Involved" in 2D Titles By Yoshio Sakamoto
I still think Federation Force looks like poop and I don't think they should call it a Metroid game.
Re: Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Looks Stunning in New E3 Trailer
I really prefer the pixel graphics of the previous games.
Re: Nintendo Download: 11th June (Europe)
Every week with a Mega Man game is a good week
I'm definitely buy MMBN3, and will probably get Miracle Cure eventually, but not this week.

Re: Natsume Suggests That Nintendo's Moving Away From SNES on Wii U Virtual Console
This sucks, SNES is one of my favourite systems. I'd love to see the Pocky & Rocky SNES games on Wii U VC, they're much better than the GBA game.

I had long forgotten about this games. Sad nontheless.

Wow, what a great week! I'll be getting Metroid Zero Mission, 3D Outrun, 3D Shinobi, Shantae and Mighty Switch Force 2
Re: WayForward to Celebrate 25th Anniversary With eShop Discounts
I was THIS close to buying Shantae yesterday, now I will have to wait until the 12th.

On the eShop, this title is under the card/download section. Does that mean they will release a retail version of this crap?

Cybernator
And of course the Boss Pack, since I have the season pass.

Castlevania and SMT IV for me

Re: GBA Classics Sonic Advance And Mega Man & Bass Arrive On The Japanese Wii U eShop Next Week
The GBA version of Mega Man & Bass (or Rockman & Forte) is a pretty bad port, they would do better to release the SFC version :/
