Really unhappy about this. The day after it was meant to release I'm on a long flight and planned on playing it then, this sucks so bad😔

Delays are fine, but when it's just one version that is delayed that shows they haven't put much effort in to that particular version.

I bet she was so excited, the first person to call her in nearly 30 years.

@carlos82 Never understood the “cinematic experience” myself either. You don’t play a movie, there is no input. The input lag at 24 or 30fps is huge compared to 60fps, especially important in a fast competitive game like Rocket League. Then there’s the camera motion, for every frame at 30fps there are two frames at 60fps, so camera motion is clearer and smoother.

Anyone who chooses the 30fps option will be at a huge disadvantage. I was hoping for better graphics at 60fps, not a 30fps option.

@BJQ1972 No, because they aren’t supplying the same amount of power in portable mode compared to docked.

It’s a scam, I’d expect better than this from Nintendo Life, don’t give scammers free advertisement.

@BanjoPickles I’m obviously the 1%, as the 3rd one was my favourite. Still really looking forward to playing the 1st one on Switch though.

Forgot I hadn’t pre ordered it, so just did using Amazon Echo, I love tech, just using my voice to buy stuff is awesome, laziness 100%

I have over 1000 hours in this game on PC, I love it, but even on high end hardware it runs poorly, so I have no idea how it’s going to run on Switch. If it somehow runs well then I’ll definitely be buying it.

They obviously didn’t ask me, I wouldn’t touch a mobile game even if I was paid to play them...

This doesn’t make sense, why remaster a game on a system that will look worse than the original. The 3DS already has Luigi’s Mansion, which is a great game, why not remaster it on Switch.

No wonder it’s so far behind the other versions...

After playing MHW on PS4 Pro I no longer have any interest in it coming to Switch, it’s lost all its bonkers Japanese charm and it feels like a very dumbed down experience...

Not bothered, it’s average at best.

@lemonjellydude Do you know wht speedrunning is? You exploit the system to its full potential to get the shortest time. Obviously you can do them without exploits, but on the whole that’s what it is. A lot of people here don’t seem to understand what speedrunning is.

@KoopaTheGamer Well I wouldn’t start with this one... once upon a time it was s great series, now it’s just a terrible one that is based on a mobile game. If you want a great theme park sim, play Planet Coaster.
This game is based on the mobile version, but even the full fat RC game on PC is terrible. I feel bad for anyone who invests in or buys this game. There’s no wait and see about it, everyone that follows the series knows exactly what it’s going to be. The only reason they are asking for funding, is so they can pay off their debt and so on, just read the small print.

This is a lot more expensive than I thought it would be, I know people will say it’s not that much, but here’s why it is. No way to party up with friends before going into a game. No way to voice chat directly from the Switch, I refuse to use the terrible app, especially if they want me to pay for online on Switch. No way to invite friends to games.
Nintendo have a long way to go before I’d consider paying for it.

Love Ark, but won’t be getting this, mainly because Snail Games are making it...

@ferryb001 Frontier don’t co own the ip, Atari own it completely. That’s why Frontier made Planet Coaster.

Don’t care. The people that made it good are gone. Now if you said Planet Coaster was coming to Switch, then I’d be interested.
Atari can’t be trusted with your money, just look at how terrible the lasted game on PC is, now imagine them making a game for Switch. It will probably be a mobile clone, with micro transactions galore....

They quickly found the time to support PS4 Pro and Xbox X though....

Either way I’ve lost interest in it after playing the Beta. Not only have they moved it away from its Japanese roots, they’ve also dumbed it down. Even the hardest monster was easy to kill.

I’m still not sure what platform I’ll buy it on though. I had the original on PC, which was a mess. Second and third also on PC which were great. 60fps helps a lot in a game like this, so I’m not sure how I’ll handle 30fps. But for me it’s between PS4 Pro or Switch, I’m still edging towards Switch just because of the portability. If the game isn’t delayed then Switch it will probably be, as a few days later I’m on a long flight to Canada so it’ll be a perfect game for the trip.

After reading comments here, I researched the Smash community. I’m shocked at how toxic it is. Everywhere I’ve talked to Nintendo fans they have been lovely. Sadly toxic people shout loudest and give everyone a bad name, so I don’t blame him for stepping away.

@iLikeUrAttitude it wasn’t 60fps on consoles though, or PC until a mod was released.

If you like a challenge then yes it is, if you like your games easy with little to no thought put into it then no, no it isn’t. This game came a long at a time when games were being dumbed down with lots of hand holding, this game holds your hand, chops it off and feeds it down your throat and says come on then, you want a challenge.

4k is everywhere, but then it’s Nintendo, it took them ages to release a console that supported HD. But with the Switch being a hybrid, 4k isn’t something that would be possible right now. I do wish the Switch supported HDR though, as that makes a bigger difference than going from 1080p to 4k.

@Switchcraft Really, you can’t believe it? They won’t do that until mini consoles stop selling so well. I’m eager to play VC games as well as I won’t be buying mini consoles, but it won’t happen until then.

@thesilverbrick It’s only a mini direct, so maybe a full one will reveal more. There’s bound to be dry periods, as they only have so many people and it takes time to make games. E3 will more than likely be when they announce big games though.

Oh hell yea. The first game was the one I spent the least time in, because the PC port was terrible, but played the hell out of the other two.

Loved 1080 on N64, my brother and I spent too much time playing it. Even today I can remember the runs off by heart.

When fakers can create something better looking than Nintendo 😒 I wish it was real.... I don’t need the streaming apps, my tv has a dedicated Netflix button and easy access to YouTube, but I’d love themes like the 3DS has.

@gurtifus What’s the point in real leather, the chair I’m sitting in isn’t real leather and feels, looks the same as the real leather seats in my car... I get real leather can be more durable, but it depends on the quality.

As long as it’s nothing like Sun, or Ultra Sun I’ll be happy. I still haven’t finished Sun, as I found it boring, never thought I’d say that about a Pokemon game.

I had something similar happen to me. I left mine in hospital a few weeks ago. Before I could even get home they called me, somebody turned it on and looked at the user name, then checked patient list and found me that way, thank you NHS.

Not sure why it disappoints publishers, they already refuse to use 32GB carts as they “cost” too much.
