Re: Sega Dreamcast, Saturn And Mega Drive Hardware Coming From Retro-Bit in 2018

It’s funny, my mate back in the day kept telling me to buy a Dreamcast. Eventually I caved in, then they day after they announced it was dying, sorry folks I killed it. I grew to love it though, and to this day it still works. It’s sad what happened to them, but also shows how well Nintendo have done, they don’t try to compete with Sony or MS, they do something different which mostly (except U) pays off.

Re: Rumour: Burnout Paradise Gets Rated For Switch Release In Brazil

This was my favourite Burnout. It’s a shame what EA did to the dev, first forcing them to make Need For Speed games, which have been crap since Most Wanted 2005, but then closing them down. EA should have let them create why they were good at.

When Paradise came out, my late girlfriend and I would spend many hours playing it together, so it holds a special place in my heart.

Re: Unofficial Nintendo GameCube Anthology Book Hits Kickstarter

I loved the GameCube, so much so I bought several in different colours 🤣 I loved the baby discs and just everything about it. I wish it did better than it did, it was just a cool console. I still have two in my loft, no idea if they work still, talking about this makes me want to go up there and find it all.

Re: Capcom Could Be Bringing Even More Ports To Nintendo Switch

@Yasaal Fifa 18 on Switch and other platforms play pretty much the same. Different graphics engines, but both use the same physics engine. Ultimate team is in all versions, so again I don’t see what’s bad about the Switch version. If this is your first Fifa game since 2010 then I don’t see how you can say FIFA on Switch is a disaster. It’s missing some extra fluff, but the matches play out very similarly to each other.

Re: Review: WWE 2K18 (Switch)

Glad you actually had the balls to score it unlike NBA. It’s a broken game on other consoles, so I knew the Switch version would be a mess. I’m a huge WWE fan, but I won’t be buying a WWE game until a new developer makes it....

Re: Editorial: Wii Remote Pointer vs. Switch Gyro Controls - The Resident Evil Test

@ThanosReXXX I have ms, so I can’t hold stuff steady, so no offence motion controls are nowhere near good enough for me.. But either way I can’t see how motion controls are more accurate, you are still guessing how much to move it by, just like a analogue stick or mouse. Motion controls will never imo be more accurate then a mouse, if they were then every game would use them. You try playing a fast paced game and the person who is using motion controls would lose. I’m glad they work great for you, but saying using any other device makes it feel clunky is just plain wrong.

If they were better, then everyone would use them, but that’s not the case. Motion controls have been around for a very long time in arcades, and yet still isn’t the default control method, so that says it all really.
