@jrt87 Goodluck streaming games away from home in the U.K. mobile networks are nowhere near reliable enough. Steam Deck is a competitor even though it costs more, as it’s designed to play PC games natively.
This device is no different than a phone or tablet which can do the same thing and I wouldn’t call them competitors.

Not sure how it’s a Switch rival when it’s a streaming based device. Form factor is similar but that’s it and it’s rather expensive when it’s mostly for steaming games imo

People seem to be missing the part where he did all this in just 2 weeks. For 2 weeks of work it’s very impressive

Ok so it’s not just me then. Performance is worse and I’ve had 3 crashes, I never had it crash in hundreds of hours of play before this.

Purple was my favourite even though I don’t really like purple. It just looked fresh compared to the grey or black consoles

It worries me that so many new games are cloud based on Switch. Eventually I’ll have nothing to play on my new oled as I’ll never play these cloud versions.

So you want me to set the screen to be darker than the og Switch? I’ve had my oled tv for nearly 3 years and there’s 0 burn in, even though I use it on PC so often have static images. Don’t panic, your oled switch will be fine.

The power cord is shorter now compared to the og Switch, which is silly. Other than that I’m loving the oled switch

Black. I wish websites would be black with white writing as well. Bright white just gives me a headache.

Couldn’t get on with the latest Nexomon on Switch, the stamina system not resetting between battles just annoyed me.

@Anti-Matter Gamepass isn’t just streaming. Obviously on something like a Switch it would be, but on the whole you just download games and play like buying a digital game. I’ve saved so much money by not having to pay £50-60 for a game.

@WallyWest It’s not about poor frame rate, it’s about it being unlocked. What’s the point in having it go up to 60fps when most of the time it struggles to reach 30fps. If they locked it to 30fps it would feel better than having such a highly variable frame rate

Looking forward to getting mine. My Switch no longer shows the joy con as attached to the console, a big problem when I play in handheld mode 90% of the time these days. Then in bed I play in tabletop mode with the pro controller.

Playing on my oled tv just doesn’t look great due to the output resolution vs my screens resolution. It would be a bit more bearable if in docked mode games ran at 1080p, but anything bellow that and the aliasing is too distracting.

Monster Hunter Stories 2 was my favourite. I didn’t even play the first one as it seemed like a weird concept vs the main games which I love.

I think I’ll pass on this Android game.

@Natsura How was it unfriendly? I’m left handed and I’m pretty sure you could change it to left handed mode.

If they actually remade it then I would have , but I’m not paying that much for a HD touch up

My Switch is semi broken so I’ll probably buy one. I can’t deny I’m disappointed it’s not more powerful, but I love oled screens.

@Shiryu I love this. I wonder how many overlook this game simply because the graphics aren’t flashy. I haven’t played a wrestling game in over 5 years, Wrestling Empire is insanely fun.

I played the demo of this last night for like an hour and then bought the game. Game play wise it’s the best wrestling game I’ve played. Every match is chaos and I love it.

It worked with PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, so I don’t see that as being a problem.

Red is my favourite colour. Must resist though, you know in case the Switch Pro is a thing

@Octane Being smaller has nothing to do with how it runs. Maps stream data as needed, not the whole map. Witcher 3 also ran like dodo on consoles for a long time. CDPR are a huge AAA studio, Warhorse studio isn’t.

Unless this is only going to be playable via the cloud, I don’t see how it’s going to run on Switch😅

This is going to look and run badly I bet. Xbox One and PS4 struggled to run this game. Just hope work has been put into this port, loved it on PC

So what are the improvements over wii u? This seems like a lazy low effort port. Expected 1080p when docked.
