I’ve been watching the making of this on No Clip YouTube, they were there from the beginning so it’s an interesting watch. Happy to see it’s doing well in reviews

I think we’ll see a lot less 3rd party ports to Switch once the focus is fully on next gen.

@mesome713 Have you seen how The Outer Worlds looks and plays on Switch? As far as bad Switch ports go, its only better than Ark and thats it

I'm surprised people aren't doing this already. Use authy, it takes seconds to setup. But hey if you're comfortable with a single password being between your account and credit card/paypal then all power to you, good luck.

I enjoyed Pokemon Shield, but it does feel like it was done on the cheap rather than going all out on what could be done on the Switch.

Played it quite a long time last night, it's very enjoyable! Pokemon needs competition to drive it forward. The problem with Pokemon is how fast Game Freak are expected to pump out games, and then people wonder why stuff feels under developed.

I love Reggie, but nah....

@jump I already do. I have my Switch connected to a capture card and connected to my PC, so the audio goes through my PC thus I can have Spotify playing. I have it setup like this as I stream, but obviously in portable I can't have spotify playing.

I can't really see it being added either.

@Rika_Yoshitake This is the kind of reporting we sadly get from NL these. Over the last few years this place has gone down hill fast. The content and reporting were top quality, but now it's just clickbait after clickbait along with a billion ads on each page, and sites wonder why people block AD's.

I doubt I'll buy it, I loved it using oculus rift, but it won't have the same wow factor playing on Switch. Still cool for those who haven't played it. I know it's not exactly the same game, but it seems close enough.

It'll be worth the wait, currently playing it on PC via gamepass and loving it! It's what I hoped Fallout 4 would be. On that note I'd love Fallout New Vegas on Switch, the best in the series.

Running great on my PC, I'm getting between 120fps to 190fps.

@Braok What are you talking about? Every single game on PC and console supports simulated surround sound which this article is about. If you're using dolby surround or even Windows sonic with headphones.... Its the same thing that Epic have now added in game, just not on Switch, making this article pointless. Desperate for clicks I suppose.

@Edu23XWiiU Really poor from Nintendo Life to write a whole article and not even play the game to see for themselves. The new 3d audio is only for Xbox, PS4 and PC, all of which have access to Dolby or DTS surround sound so don't even need this. The one platform that needed it was Switch, as it doesnt support any surround sound tech.

UMM Nintendo Life, have you actually played the game? When I checked last night there was no option for 3D audio in the Switch version, I know where the option is located as I also play the game on PC, so this whole article is pointless for Nintendo Switch players...

The Wii U shop was great compared to the Switch. Not only is the E-shop so devoid of options, but it is now basically the mobile app store. More isn't always better, just ask Steam. The Switch is slowly adding features, but far too slowly.

The amount of hours Ive put into this game on PC and then Xbox One X is insane, yet I still cannot wait to play it on Switch. I wonder if itll unlock at midnight tonight or not.

I think in total Ive played it for like 600 hours lol.

As someone who is on a diet this interests me. After my mum passed away I stopped caring about life and ballooned. But after just 3 months I’ve lost 2 stone, or 28lb or 12.7kg. I’m currently at 13.7 stone and want to get to 12 stone, so it would be cool to have a gaming related thing to help me burn calories.

@zool That is so true! The amount of rubbish in the E Shop is insane, it’s basically the Android store...

I spent 15 mins in the RE5 demo and was like nope, it’s terrible. It doesn’t help that I played it on PC originally, but the Switch version is terrible and the price is insane for such an old game...

Well maybe actually try being a parent and have some discipline. This is the parents fault and now they are trying to get a pay day from it....

Doesn't really apply to me, I'd just be happy if my Switch detected my right joy con as being connected. Nintendo "fixed" it only for the same problem to happen. I never disconnect them as I only use them in handheld mode, that's why I was upset when the Switch lite was a thing rather than the pro, as I just want to buy a new Switch and be done with this one.

When Fifa first came out on Switch with a "Custom engine" This was exactly what I said would happen, and people were like no no they are putting real effort into the Switch version. This is exactly what they did with the Vita....

@Alucard83 Thats a cheaper 3rd party controller though, so not really the same. Nintendo know how to make a analog stick reliable, yet even with a new console they have used the same design.

So Nintendo knew about the issue and still released a new console with the same fault, that is pretty bad Nintendo...

Wow no HD rumble, I'm struggling to find a reason for people buying this over the normal Switch. Yes the OG one costs more, but if you were able to save for the Lite then you're better off saving a bit more to get the OG Switch.

@Rayquaza2510 Output resolution has nothing to do with the file size. It's smaller because of a drop in texture quality and compressed audio.

Even though I've completed it many times on PC, I'm still excited about playing it on Switch.

@FiveDigitLP No they are totally different games.... Snooker is played on a large table compared to billiards and the rules are totally different.

Does the dock now have padding or rubber inserts to stop scratches? If not that's not an improvement even if the console has a longer battery life.

I wont be buying a Switch Lite because it goes against the very concept of the console, its USP is that it's a hybrid.

No, the only issue I have is it wont show as attached to the console, but that an issue with with the console not joy con

Might actually buy one as I've had so many issues with my Switch, its been "repaired" twice by Nintendo only to develop the same issue again. So now I can't use it handeld as it doesnt show the right joy con as attached. It's not the joy con but the console connector, yet the joy con has never been detached as in docked mode I use my pro controller.

My friends grandad who is 85 does sim racing and just loves gaming, this is more proof that gaming is for all, even if the media and so on portray it as something else.

My mum who passed away in January aged 55, was a big Nintendo fan, which is where my love of Nintendo came from. Playing Mario on the NES are some memories I'll never forget.

Yeah I've always wanted something that is a downgrade from the previous model....
