Do not go for the LG 4k they linked, it’s cheap for a reason. Firstly it’s not really 4k. So you have red, green blue pixels right? Well this tv adds a white pixel, so by pixel count it’s 4k, but the actual colour resolution is nowhere near 4k. Then there’s the HDR, it’s HDR by definition, but can’t get anywhere near bright enough for what HDR should be. I did a lot of research on this TV, as I was going to buy it, just a buyers beware

@RasandeRose My bad, I misread the article, when they talked about dynamic resolution, that’s only for portable mode😬
Either way, I’ve played it in both modes, and it looks stunning. Motion controls work well, but I prefer just using my pro controller. Played about 3 hours now, even with a banging headache. That’s probably why I misread the article.

@RasandeRose It’s not a static 900p, it drops bellow that at certain points already.

@NewAdvent Spent over 800 hours playing the PC, still bought it, it manages to feel fresh still. Plus if you only played the 360 version, it looks a lot nicer.

I can attest to it’s quality, as I’m currently playing it. It obviously doesn’t look as the PC version I spent so long playing, but it looks damn good nonetheless.

I’ve played it for about 800 hours on PC, but it’s still going to feel new and fresh. It’s been a long time since I played the vanilla version, so I’m really excited to play it again. I hope the Switch keeps getting big AAA games like this in the future, as so far it’s been awesome.

If it’s actual stores breaking it, like you walk into one and they sell it, then ok that’s not right. But if it’s online, then stores are in a tricky position, if they send it out late and it doesn’t arrive, then not only will they get angry customers, but quite often they won’t bother using them again.

@Scapetti I paid around £10 for it on PC, so yes it’s expensive imo. On Steam it’s the same price as this, but Steam prices are inflated these days

@GrailUK Not as of yet, they are working with a publisher to hopefully make it happen, but for now it’s digital only.

£20 for Worms is a bit steep, back in the day it was great, but they haven’t really done much to bring the game forward. As long as you have people to play it with, it can still be fun though.

Everyone can moan about what Nintendo have done, but YouTube have ruined YouTube. I know a few people who were making decent ish money, now every video needs to be for 5 year olds, otherwise you lose advertisers, it’s bonkers.

Downloads have been fast for me, up until yesterday when I had to download LA Noire files. An hour to download 14gb or whatever it is with a dl speed that reaches over 100mbps is crazy...

As someone who didn’t enjoy Sun that much, I doubt this would change my mind. It’s the first Pokemon RPG I haven’t pre ordered, changing the formula doesn’t always mean better, and for me it wasn’t. The only thing I loved was the art style.

I have the PC version, I play it at 4K, yet I still think the Switch version looks amazing, so I’m not sure what you have to cry about.

Don’t care about any of them, just want VC on Switch, but because people are buying the classics, VC won’t come anytime soon...

@JJ286 You play as a detective, but you have to work your way up the ranks. You solve crimes by looking for clues, you also interview witnesses and suspects, it’s a brilliant game.

@tebunker No not really the same people, most left after TDU2. TDU was great, but the second game sucked, especially if you used a wheel as there was literally no force feedback.

@JaxonH It still has the same dull tracks, ai and physics though. Better graphics and being able to use a controller won’t change that. Also the price they are asking for is crazy imo.

Everyone screams Netflix, that’s not a service I’ll ever use again. They stole money from me, I could see on my bank statement that they were taking money from me. So I called them, I said I never restarted my subscription, they could see it hadn’t been used for the three months it had been restarted for, but refused to give me my money back. So I had to get my bank involved, it took 6 months to get my money back, so yea never again.

Gamespot have said the framerate isn’t great whilst docked. That’s a little worrying, surely they should drop the resolution slightly from 1080p so it’s stays at a stable 30fps. They said it plays better in handheld mode, which is odd as there’s less power, but obviously a lower resolution, seems it was made mainly optimised for handheld use.

I’ll probably buy it at some point, but the PC version is enough for me for now.

@mikeatron85 Why? When a game doesn’t fit on a cart then fine, but when it does but the publisher opts for the cheap option, then I think the customer has every right to complain. Your point is also flawed, for a start the games on that console can be played without downloading anything, but also it contains a large HDD unlike the Switch which doesn’t, so yea people have every right to be angry. Myself I have a 200GB Micro SD, but that doesn’t stop me being annoyed when crap like this happens.

But they will still charge a premium for the Switch version right.... After seeing how broken the game is on Xbox, PS and PC I wouldn’t touch the game anyway.

I have seen a lot of people say this is what NMS should have been, but it has a lot less content and stuff to do, very weird. If it was the same price as the iOS version then it wouldn’t be a bad purchase.

@LemonSlice It was dedicated hardware. It was about 16 years ago, but I remember loving it. It had a screen similar to the original game boy but bigger, good times haha.

Wouldn’t buy it anyway, £30 for a mobile port. When I was young I had a electronic version of Monopoly so my bro and I could play it during trips, it was only £15...

I’m ok as I have a large SD card, but this is ridiculous. It’s one thing if a game doesn’t fit on a cart, but when it does this shouldn’t be happening.

@Racthet916 Because it’s still the same game, just without micro transactions. It will play exactly the same, the racing is boring as the ai and driving model is rubbish.

Love racing, love cars, but there’s no way I’m buying this mobile game port. It’s free on mobile and is rubbish.
