I had the adapter thing for Gamecube to play Gameboy games, playing Pokemon Red on my TV was cool even though it was just a blown up imagine and probably looked terrible, but that didn't matter. I don't think we ever had the transfer pak though.

It's crazy that this is even working on Switch, even if it does look rather muddy. But I have maybe 600 hours in this game and could see myself buying it on Switch.

Oh joy I've always wanted to wait 5 hours to open a chest. Mobile games on Switch make me sick...

So nobody wins? That's just stupid....

And not a single Nintendo published game is on sale.

@carlos82 Seems like he is just blind to frame rate dips, if he's going to say the performance is fine then he should at least get facts by actually testing it. It's the second worst port on Switch, only Ark is worse. Not only does the frame rate tank to the mid teens, the graphics are atrocious and the worst thing is there's a huge input delay compared to the original.

It's because of people like Reggie that Nintendo does so well. Nintendo have so many in top positions that love gaming. Whereas at companies like Activision you have people like Bobby Kotick who couldn't give a damn about gaming and only cares about profit which leads to generic games that look to nickel and dime you.

@Woosh193 Yes really. It's open world and has guns, but that's where the similarities end, it's like saying Mario Kart is like Gran Turismo because they both have cars and race....

It’s nothing like GTA, I never understood why people compared it to that.
But on the game, Saints Row 3 is when the series went downhill and in a completely different direction to the first two games. If those two came to Switch I’d buy them, but I’m not interested in playing SR3 again.

My lil nephew could say more Pokemon names than actual words. Not now but when he was 3 he couldn't really talk, but if you showed him a Pokemon he could name it

I'd rather a boost mode during actual gameplay, a few seconds faster loading does nothing for me.

This happened to mine, but it wouldn't even charge. Nintendo replaced the whole console losing me all my data, so I suspect there's a bigger issue.

After putting so many hours into the PC version, I was so impressed with the Switch port, they really did a good job.

Why is the Smash Pro scene such a toxic place? I've been around other pro scenes and they are positive places.

I just want a Switch that doesn't go wrong on me. I've owned every Nintendo console and never had a problem. First Switch, the right joy con wouldn't show as attached to the console, then the console battery wouldn't charge. They replaced it or so they said, but now this one has the joy con issue again. It's not the controller itself but the console. It's very annoying as I never take them off as I only use them in handheld mode, the rest of the time I use the Pro controller.

@JHDK What did you expect from such a low res screen. Even my Oculus Rift isn't that clear especially text. The resolution per eye is far too low.

Is this going to be one of those games that makes you download the DLC even if you haven't bought it....

Well as its Avalanche studio making the game, I'm not very excited about Rage 2 even though I loved the first game. JC3, JC4 and now Generation Zero have all sucked.

Love it, played the hell out of the mobile and PC versions. Sure it costs more than the mobile version, but that really shouldn't be a surprise, it's not like it was free on mobile and then £30 on Switch ala Gear Club unlimited.

They've got some work to do if that's what it looks like on Switch 🤣

Not sure I'm going to buy it, already have it on 2 devices and with Borderlands 3 set to be announced, that will take up my time.

@sleepinglion No they aren't paying Nintendo Life to write articles. Fortnite is the most popular game in the world, NL would be stupid not to write articles about it.

@WagnerDDS Why? This has nothing to do with the battle pass. You can still play with PS4 and Xbox players. All this means is if you do random squads, you wont be in the PS4 and Xbox pools.

But on certain mobiles it can run at 60fps. The Switch version doesn't even hold 30fps most of the time, it's just bad. They said they disabled recording to improve performance, but performance hasn't improved at all. I pretty much only play it on Xbox One X as it's not a fun experience on Switch.

They will still look better than Ark on Switch...

I think adding a difficulty setting would make everyone happy. Pokemon black 2 had a hard mode, but only after you best the Elite 4.

I’m so happy about this, played the mobile and PC versions so much.

Since the first games, I’ve alwsys bought the red coloured versions (when it’s between red & blue) so I’ll be sticking to that trend, Shield it is.

@kotag I wouldn't call what they've done making it easier, what they've done is add quality of life improvements. The only difficulty in Pokemon was from the grind. I love games that make me grind to get stuff, but games dont have to be that way.

@-Juice- Pokemon was never a difficult game. I was like 9 when Red came out and didnt find it hard to play.

Now this is the game I've been waiting for. Would have liked to have kept visible wild Pokemon, but still I'm looking forward to it.

If they get this running on Switch then they are wizards. My favourite series of all time, completed W3 twice on PC with new game+ and I’m now playing it on Xbox One X, mainly because it has HDR and the PC version doesn’t. I would buy it a 3rd time if it came to Switch.

Personally I think it will just be the Gwent card game and not the actual Witcher games.

This would be terrible. Even my Oculus rift resolution isnt that great. The Switch screen is only 720p and that has to be split between each eye, it would be painful. Plus the screen is only 60hz and has a lot of motion blur, so as a VR screen not only is the resolution too low, the motion blur would make people feel sick. Not to mention the specs when the Switch is in handheld mode.

Anything with his name on it I’ll be staying away. He’s the biggest BS in the industry.

I wish they'd give up Pokemon Red, blue and Yellow. I know that's GBA, but it would just be nice to have them on Switch rather than having to play it on 3DS.

@BulbasaurusRex It's a normal 3rd person game, I'm not sure what you're asking for, the controls are like any other 3rd person game.

@JaxonH Fair enough, myself I prefer being able to see what I'm doing. LCD screens already blur in motion, it's one of those settings I turn off in all PC games, so it was nice to have graphics options in a Switch game.

It looks great in handheld mode, blown up on a TV not So much. Do yourself a favour and disable motion blur and depth of field, both are overly aggressive and ruin the image quality
