Some of those games people already bought or just aren’t interesting. I imagine Cyberpunk, Street Fighter, and Bravely Default were the only ones to do that well.

I absolutely want to get it, and that trailer definitely sold me. Still have a couple other launch day games I want to finish or play a good chunk of, that being Bravely Default and Hogwarts Legacy. I’ll still get it Day 1 of course.

I completely agree, like the time to argue about it was when that was first announced. No need to protest over it.

One of the launch games I picked up. Not exactly a huge game to show off the graphics of Switch 2 but it has been a stellar RPG so far. I give it a 9/10 maybe 8

I couldn’t make it out over the very loud MK64 Rainbow Road remix.

I remember all the hardcore “gamers” dogging Nintendo during the Wii U era. They have now gone quiet or try to find a way to make the Switch 2 sound like a pos. Ever since the Switch came out, I have been glad to boast about the incredible - mighty Nintendo empire.

Will be getting this soon. They are definitely Nintendo’s best indie studio. They should just give them the keys to the F Zero franchise.

@angtre I can see why fans back in the day would worry about the art style if they thought all future titles would have this style. Nice to know however that the art style is always changing mostly from game to game

My favorite Zelda game although I beat it on the Wii U. Intrigued to give this version a go but going to be a while as I clear the new games I got for the Switch 2. Would not be surprised if the next Zelda game takes after this game with open world sailing.

@Cia Yeah that is a hard disagree for me. Definitely as good a story as any of the other ones outside of OOT.

Same people that complain about paying 10$ for this probably spend 300$ on shoes

I get maybe having him as a special thanks but if there is one growing theme I am sick of making headlines it is the credits. People act like we should start boycotting a game or bash it to death. People love being negative but in spite of what they say or do it never has any outcome.

I didnt get this on my first transfer over to the new console with my SD card and I guess this was one of many games I left on system memory of Switch 1. Am I going to have to factory reset to be able to try again? If so, Nintendo should of made a guide for the process because that’s ridiculous.

Doesn’t seem like much excuse for a choppy frame rate, the game doesn’t look that demanding. Glad I chose a couple other launch games over this one but may get it on a sale one day.

Definitely an interesting game but of the 4 games I got for the Switch 2 unfortunately this wasn’t one of them. Maybe I’ll get it on a sale one day but nice to know it is a quality title.

You are entitled to your own opinion, but this new mario kart game makes MK8D look bland as hell!

MK world is fascinating, been nonstop fun for me but I do wonder if the free roam will ever get old. There is no record kept of the missions or no map so far for what I can tell.

The courses are all pretty great. The Bowsers Castle and Rainbow Road feel like a Universal ride with how immersive they are.

Loving everything about the console so far. Love the strong magnets the controllers use to connect back to the grip or dock. The handheld itself is superb, nice large screen, great audio output, and great performance. The mouse controls are an underrated feature I will say. HD rumble also seems improved and makes for a more engaging experience.

The buttons still kinda feel like a cheap plastic to me but they could be worse ig.

Personally I find this “game” pretty good for 10$ and totally worth it. It is actually an awesome app to let you know if your tv is setup properly as mine wasn’t properly setup to run the 4K, 120hz, and HDR until it let me know.

People seem to poop on the game key cards just as bad as cloud gaming. I don’t think they are particularly close to being as bad as each other.

I am pleased with this UI and the eShop runs perfectly so far. Just give it some of that old eshop music and Id be applauding!

But its not launch day yet…

Edit: As others have noted it is in different countries. Just still seemed to early for all that but apparently not!

Im interested in this but am probably going to get Bravely Default and Hogwarts Legacy over this game. Maybe on a sale down the road I will dip in.

This game looks great and I have never given it a try. Going to be one of the few launch games I get with my Switch bundle.

PS: I don’t get the hatred for the game key card releases. Yes they are annoying and take away some of the value, but to outright not buy the game seems outrageous.

Hate to say it but I am starting to wonder if I am now going to be paying 10$ for this. It’s more bulky than I expected and looks like an interesting couple of hours.

@drumnbayes It is also pretending all the audience is going to be comfortable with this person as the pick, in which a good portion of people are not. Hate to say that, but it is simply the truth.

This movie is based off a very traditional game so it just isn’t a good fit. Would work better with a completely new IP.

One of my favorite games of all time, and definitely my favorite racer of all time. Not sure how this game doesn’t get more love and is overlooked because of GX but ig I’ll find out why once Switch 2 is out.

Also, they are both great but Japan’s is just more detailed so I chose that.

Been playing the heck out of this and it will be all I play until Switch 2!

I’ll be getting the Switch 2 Bundle and the Carrying Case + Screen Protector. Just an extra 5$ for me in the end so I don’t care. I might eventually get the Pro controller but definitely in no rush to get one, same goes for the Camera.

Definitely a few darn good tracks in here. Defective (Frenzy) is probably one of my favorites. Last Engage, Bright Sandstorm (Fiery), Tear Streaked (Ice), Garden Of Light I also recommend. Im higher on 3 Houses soundtrack but this is still splendid as well.

Im hoping to play the next Madden or College Football game on Switch 2 and it have crossplay with other systems. Might be able to drop the Xbox all together if that happens.

How about a startup jingle or something. Loved that about the Wii U, made the main menu feel like it was worth staying around on. Nice to hear they may have upgraded the eShop though since it play videos of the games and hopefully be better all around as well.

I thought it looked pretty neat but yeah no way am I getting this lol I already gotta be extra sure about taking a risk on paying 70, 80$ for a game and making sure its going to be worth it to.

Wind Waker HD is just such a beautiful game that it makes the GameCube one look almost ugly in comparison. I think I will take the chance to appreciate playing the GameCube original however and see the differences. Much more excited to try F-Zero GX as I absolutely love X on N64

The whole situation with the prices means games like Kirby Air Riders, Donkey Kong Bananza, Pokemon Z-A, etc. are going to make me think twice if I really want to buy the game or not.

@Dm9982 Hogwarts is launching as an entirely new edition so I doubt it. Would be nice though

After reading this more this is actually really nice! Hope they do this with Xenoblade X as well.

Pissed me off but is what it is. Hope eShop is better and they added some tunes and sound effects or something, would really make this UI way less bland and make it feel refreshing and appreciate it the simplicity.

People saying it’s just a pro model than a new console are insane. It’s the Switch 2, not sure what else there is to expect.

This better be like 5 or 10$ or have more to it, while it looks neat and kind of fun, if there is not much more to it then having it be a paid download is just downright strange.

Thought this was Odyssey 2 for a moment. I thought this looked okay, honestly didn’t seem like much other than a bunch of smashing to me. Hopefully I am wrong but I got a feeling this might be a disappointment.
