I had an absolute nightmare trying to change shells. I buggered the RH Joycon, there was a very small ‘door’ like tab that needs to be closed to keep a wire connected. This has broken off, so I can’t ensure that the wire stays connected
I still have my GBA SP, and, dare I say it, it’s a wonderful ‘Port’ machine.
Doom and Final Fight are fantastic ports (a lot better than the SNES versions.
Other than the games listed, my favourites are: GTA (I guess comparable to PS1, plays very well) Speedball 2 (is a perfect port from the Amiga, including Sound...”Ice Cream, Ice Cream”) Desert Strike (plays just as well as the MD did. Fantastic game)
I have to admit that when first saw the screen shots, I was disappointed. But that disappointment changed as soon as i see a video of dragon roost island. In motion it looked fantastic
I didn’t actually play this game until 2003. When this had come out on the N64, I had moved on to the Dreamcast. I eventually played on a Game Cube collection disc. I never completed the game. I loved the Side Quests, but the part I didn’t like was having to do all 4 bosses in time span (when I say didn’t like, what I really mean is a found in too difficult). I have it on the 3DS, but still have completed it on that either. What i love about this game is it feels like a Dream in the world of Ocarina of Time, where people you know from the real world, have an alternative life, and different jobs. We’ve all had those types of dreams......haven’t we....?....haven’t we?......<gets coat>
If I were to write a wish list, they would all be Ports
Give me the following, and I would be happy (the originals, no iPhone looking tat)
Cannon Fodder (Amiga)
Lemmings (Amiga)
Speedball 2 (Amiga)
Chaos Engine (Amiga)
North & South (not the remake) (Amiga)
Alien Breed (Amiga)
Super Cars (Amiga)
IK+ (Amiga)
Starwars (Atari Arcade)
Chase HQ (Arcade)
Escape from the planet of the Robot Monsters (Arcade)
Rainbow Islands (Arcade)
Cabal (Arcade)
Daytona
Sega Rally
Virtua Fighter
Edit: Pilot Wings 64
Would like EA to release Desert / Jungle / Urban Strike. I still have the MD cartridges, also have Desert Strike on GBA, also have EA Replay on PSP. But for sake of convenience, would love it if they came to Switch
I have played a few games so far, but totally worth the price, although (and this is knit picking) I would prefer the Arcade Cabinets to have been the games original art, instead of Generic) Also, hoping future packs to be released
I remember in 2002 when Wind Waker was first shown. That also had a hate brigade (due to the toon like graphics). That is now considered a favourite by many.
The only aspect that prevented this from being a top game was Fi. I feel they put too much hand holding in this game due to the Wii being a more casual Console
I think the best part of the Direct is knowing there is more to come. I think Skyward Sword is a fantastic Zelda, probably the best Story of all, but I really hope Fi is changed. Golf looks fun,
If there’s going to be a new Mario reveal, I really hope it uses ideas from Bowsers Fury. Really enjoying this game.
As sad as it may be, I’m actually hoping for more ports. Of course I will always have interest in new games, but I still want to see Dreamcast / Saturn games as originally hinted at with the Ages Line, along with their greatest Arcade games.
Would like Arcade Archives to confirm more eighties/nineties games from Taito/Midway/Atari, with some Amiga classics thrown in.
More Gamecube / Wii U ports are also very much welcome (even though I still have these consoles, for me, Switch is the ‘Console of Convenience’
My expectations: Sega U-Turn on Ages (Daytona available to download after direct) Amiga Virtual Console (Lemmings, Cannon Fodder, Speedball 2 to be released end of this week)
I have 313 gb free space. Managed to get a 1tb Card in an Amazon sale. Have +200 games all digital. Having that many quality games, portable, without having to swap memory / games card, is fantastic.
The big hitters I have (size): NBA 2K20: 41.3 gb The Witcher 3: 31.3 gb LA Noire: 27.4 gb Res Evil Revelations 2: 23.6 gb Doom: 21.9 gb
@BlubberWhale FPS in today’s context is not the same as the old NTSC (60Hz) or PAL (50Hz). 60Hz in this context is 60 Fields per Second. For a frame of animation, 2 interlaced Fields are required, giving 30 Frames per second (or 25 frames per second for PAL) This is why PAL games were always slower

I think someone is changing the list. DKC was at 50 earlier (I am sure I wasn’t dreaming it)

Re: Review: Lawnmower Game: Racing - The Worst Game On Switch? Quite Possibly
Day one for me
Re: Anniversary: Nintendo Switch Launched Four Years Ago Today
Perfect day to give an updated trailer for Breath if the Wild 2, and with Audio not played backwards
Edit: The Switch is my favourite console of all time. Convenience is key to this.
But Dreamcast and Amiga still have a special place for me
Re: Plants Vs. Zombies Could Pave The Way For Bigger And Better EA Frostbite Titles On Switch
I would buy a Switch version of EA Replay.

Re: Feature: We Worked Out The Best Zelda Game Once And For All, Using Maths
My favourite is still Ocarina of Time, but I love the way every Zelda game is different, or tries something different.
Re: Star Wars: Republic Commando Is Landing On Switch This April
Keep ‘em coming. Rogue Squadron next please
Re: Random: Talented Hacker Bumps The Frame Rate Of SNES Race Drivin' From 4fps To 30
I remember having many hours of fun with Hard Drivin’ 2 on the Amiga. It had its own track editor, lot fun making your own tracks
Re: Tony Hawk Has Heard About Crash 4 Coming To New Platforms, Wants His Own Game To Follow
I would buy them.
Also, Tony Hawk for Smash? Could also add Christian Hosoi for some rivalry

@RaphaBoss ha ha.
In F1 if you pit for fresh tyres, micro transaction required (£1 per Tyre)
Re: The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Will Feature amiibo Support, File Size Revealed
If you buy a movie on DVD 15 years ago, would you expect to now get the same movie on Blu-ray at reduced price because you already have the DVD?
Re: EA Acquires Racing Game Specialist Codemasters
Looking on the bright side, at least they no longer have the Star Wars licence,
Re: Soapbox: Zelda: Skyward Sword Is Good, Actually
The only aspect that prevented this from being a top game was Fi. I feel they put too much hand holding in this game due to the Wii being a more casual Console
Re: The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Will Feature amiibo Support, File Size Revealed
I will only be paying £40 for this from the eShop.
£40 is ok, and we have yet to see the new features it will have.
Re: Poll: What Did You Think Of The February 2021 Nintendo Direct, Then?
I was ok with the Direct, and still expecting more Zelda and Metroid through this year.
Re: Nintendo's 'Digital Deals' Sale Is Now Live, Up To 75% Off (Europe)
@ukaskew Wii version
Re: Nintendo's 'Digital Deals' Sale Is Now Live, Up To 75% Off (Europe)
May have to pick up Burnout Paradise at that price
Re: Round Up: Everything Announced In The February 2021 Nintendo Direct
I think the best part of the Direct is knowing there is more to come.
I think Skyward Sword is a fantastic Zelda, probably the best Story of all, but I really hope Fi is changed.
Golf looks fun,
Re: Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Hits Switch This July Alongside Themed Joy-Con

Re: Nintendo Direct To Air Tomorrow, Wednesday 17th February
@NGNYS I like that you showed Amstrad in your VC line up, and not Speccy.
Salut the 8-Bit master race.
👍
Edit: C64 is ok I guess
Re: Nintendo Direct To Air Tomorrow, Wednesday 17th February
My expectations:
Sega U-Turn on Ages (Daytona available to download after direct)
Amiga Virtual Console (Lemmings, Cannon Fodder, Speedball 2 to be released end of this week)
Re: Zelda Remake Specialist Grezzo Is Hiring For A New "Medieval" And "Stylish" Project

Re: Will You Be Clearing Up Some Space For The Switch Version Of Apex Legends?
I have 313 gb free space. Managed to get a 1tb Card in an Amazon sale.
Have +200 games all digital.
Having that many quality games, portable, without having to swap memory / games card, is fantastic.
The big hitters I have (size):
NBA 2K20: 41.3 gb
The Witcher 3: 31.3 gb
LA Noire: 27.4 gb
Res Evil Revelations 2: 23.6 gb
Doom: 21.9 gb
Re: Nintendo Is "Rigorously Responding" To Demand For Multiple Switch Consoles Per Household
I would buy another Switch, but they make so difficult to share digital content, I am holding back. (More fool me for going all digital this gen)
