I’m not a fan of subscription models (would prefer if we had the option to buy), and I don’t have a Switch 2 (yet - hoping for an OLED version), but if they announce Rogue Squadron 2 on this VC, I will buy a Switch 2 immediately

I am holding out for an OLED version. Not dissing, I am happy to wait. I have a huge backlog of games to play

@Damo Great Review. Do you know if the Arcade Archives 2 version is any different to the standard Arcade Archives version (for the first Switch) ?
On the eShop it does say that if you buy on Switch, and later you get a Switch 2, you need to pay an upgrade fee for the Switch 2 version

I hate the fact that we can’t buy the VC games we want to keep. So I am very much in favour of the HD Port. Same with Twilight

I have 4, I have everything on a New 3DSXL SNES version. Would by nice to use my Ambassadors White New 3DS, but due to Nintendo’s bull***t rules on user accounts having more than 1 system, it is not worth transferring everything every time I want to change.
I think there is also a limit on transfers

This reads like specific updates for PS4 and XBOX, and for Switch just a general performance improvement (in other words, sweet FA for Switch)

The only problem I had (my problem for not looking hard enough, not an issue with the game) was not finding the Tunnel in the central Tower (revealed with the floating Pad rising), that meant I was missing 1 key. Got there eventually.

@Edu23XWiiU I haven’t played MK on the Arcade for a long time, but I do have a Megadrive and a SNES. I say that the Megadrive plays better because the controls are more responsive. I guess we will have to agree to disagree

I always found the SNES versions of MK & MK2 to very laggy for controls.
Although the Megadrive versions were not as good visually, they certainly played better.

I would rather them focus on a new game. BOTW and TOTK reimagined Hyrule. They should now reimagine Termina. Include more Dungeons, keep Sky / Underground / Depths. Keep the TOTK mechanics, add Majoras Masks transformations.

I’m ok just buying the individual games I want. Unless there is an exclusive that is not available separately.
I also prefer having a separate tile for the individual game on the Switch menu.

I think box art was more relevant in the 80’s when it was difficult to see a game running or trying before buying.

I do love that some box arts were clearly ripped from Movies of the time. Gryzor and Predator is one I always remember.

Also at school, when we used to make covers for our school books, I always used computer game or movie posters
