Re: Pikmin 3 Opening Week Physical Sales Were Lower On ďťżSwitch Than Wii U (UK)

Gerald

I agree with what people are saying on the price and not buying to send a message. Unfortunately the other message being sent to Nintendo is people are not interested in Pikmin.

I still have this on my Wii U.
I personally payed ÂŁ40 on the eShop having a game voucher, and although I am not happy with price, the 2 player co op, all DLC, QOL features, and convenience of portable play make it worth it.

Not much for me this week.

But I just looked on the eShop coming soon, a game called North & South is listed. A remake of a game from late eighties. I played this to death on the Amiga, fantastic game

Re: Video: Digital Foundry's Technical Analysis Of Super Mario 3D All-Stars

I played some SM64 this morning (I can still remember the Secret Stars), and played 15mins of Sunshine. I am pleased the the Camera Direction is opposite to the GC original.
Most importantly I had a very big smile whilst playing, and having lots of fun.
I prefer they haven’t deviated too far from the originals.
DF videos are pointless for games that are this good (IMO)

Re: Video: New Super Mario 3D All-Stars Trailer Shows Off Fresh Footage And Features

Gerald

I was recently playing Sunshine on my GameCube before this 35th Anniversary was announced.
I never used to have a problem with the camera, but after playing Odyssey for a long time, the Camera on Sunshine needs to be inverted (no matter how much a tried, I could not get used to it, and would move the camera in the opposite direction to what I wanted) - This became very annoying and took the fun out of the game

I really hope an option is added to invert the camera direction

Re: Feature: So, What Happened To Super Mario Galaxy 2?

Gerald

I think it might be unlockable when you complete Galaxy 1 (or similar to Starfox 2 on the snes mini, unlocks after playing 1st level)

Although I really like Galaxy 2, I was not a fan of the “new super Mario bros” style level layout. I much prefer hub type areas
