Re: EA Is Bringing Seven Games To Nintendo Switch Over The Next 12 Months

Gasarakii

I bet we see a lot more games next year also.

You know they will try to bring a lot of their sports games over, Football, Basketball, Soccer, and more, the Switch is lacking in this area so it would be easy sales for them but not sure how much they will bring this year and/or next year.

I would love to see Mass Effect Trilogy the most.

Other games I think will come in the next 1-2 years would be Dragon Age, Plants vs Zombies, Sims, Mirror's Edge, and/or Need for Speed. Would also be cool to see NBA Jam.

Re: Poll: Should Nintendo Release A Digital-Only Switch?

Gasarakii

I am all digital on the Switch already so I would be fine with it.

This is the first console that I am all digital with and my only concern is Nintendo's next system will not be backwards compatible, but here is hoping

Edit: Just to mention I have a Samsung 512 GB SD card to help with that, got this on a Black Friday sale for $50.

Re: Switch Joy-Con Drift Claim Must Be Arbitrated, Says Illinois Federal Court

Gasarakii

My first set was drifting so I sent it in to get fixed and while they were being repaired my other set started to drift. Got back the old set fixed, sent in my other set and again my old set was drifting.

Now my newer set is still at Nintendo America for just over 2 months now awaiting for them to re-open to get them back. Once they fix them I will have to send my old set back again. It never ends lol.

Re: Famitsu Poll Reveals Readers' Favourite Fire Emblem Games

Gasarakii

Rumor was we were getting two remakes announced at the event on May 5th I think it was. But with that cancelled who knows, but I'm sure they are working on something.

At this time Intelligent Systems have the most employees the company has every had, and I'm sure they are all not just working on Heroes.

Re: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 And 2 Remasters Officially Revealed, But They're Skipping Switch

Gasarakii

Wow I was excited for the rumors of them bringing this back remastered but skipping the Switch is insane.

I know the other consoles are older but man the Switch is the most selling console right now by a crazy amount. It's like the people that decide these things have no clue about the industry, EA is a good example of that as well but are learning from their mistakes, sorta...

Re: Talking Point: How Often Do You Make The 'Switch Sacrifice'?

Gasarakii

Switch pretty much always now. I am a PC gamer, Switch is my only console. Only games I still play on PC are FPS, MOBA, and RTS, ones that pretty much require a mouse imo.

I do hope in future versions of the joy-cons (if they ever happen) they release an analog trigger as racing games are not as good on the Switch due to this simple thing, and before it is said, yes you can use the game cube controller but I play portable 95% of the time.

Re: HYPERCHARGE: Unboxed Dev Says All The Game's Updates Will Be Entirely Free

Gasarakii

Thanks?

I'm not sure how to react to this, sure paying for content that should have been in the game sucks so it's nice that they don't charge for it. But sorta feels like they weren't ready to release the game and are now turning it into them being awesome (good PR team?).

Also, no paid expansion/DLC most likely means they will just leave the game after the road map with nothing new to come. Companies cannot work on games for yrs after they released them giving everything away for free, they don't make money that way.

Or they could be selling skins or something to help with the free content like other games. Skins aren't loot boxes.

Edit: Just wanted to say for clarification, I am not saying any of this is true, just seems that way is all. They could be this miracle dev that works on the game for years after release giving everything new away for free, but every time a dev promises everything for free they have something else to make money off of, and that's a good thing, I want them to be able to support the game and themselves.

Re: Poll: What Features Would You Want In A Switch 'Pro'?

Gasarakii

Personally I feel the 720 handheld/1080 docked is fine. If this gets bumped to 1080 handheld and 4K docked I don't think we would notice the difference in handheld but that is just a personal opinion and I know this is a big want from the community. I don't care either way.

What would I want with a Switch Pro. List below in order.

-Less bezel more screen. The bezel on the Switch is pretty big, at least cut this in half.
-The joy cons to have an actual D-Pad on them, I know you can get customs but this should be standard.
-Analog triggers on the joy cons please!
-longer battery life (I think this will already be a given, updated Switch and Switch Lite got this already)
-The new Tegra chip in the updated models, unlocked, or a new GPU that will help support games of the next gen, doesn't have to be the new PS or XBOX quality but enough that porting won't be an absolute NO, example, right now current gens ports are happening though they have to downgrade a bit and that is fine.
-Bluetooth

It might seem like I just want better joy cons with this list and that is true, sorta

Software side
-I would love to be able to organize my games and have folders.
-Friend request system needs a rework. (I have friends that play and due to it being absolute garbage we took over a year to finally add each other)
-text and voice chat

Re: Alienware's Impressive Switch-Like Concept UFO Wins Best-In-Show Award

Gasarakii

I think they deserve it and it is an awesome device that was inspired by the Switch (no matter how many times they say they are unaware of the Switch, we know this is a lie lol).

Issue will be cost. I hope they take this from concept and actually release the device, not saying I would buy it right away but maybe down the road. Just would be hard to justify spending $2k easy on this when the Switch is $300.

Re: Alienware Reveals Switch-Like Device Capable Of Playing PC Games

Gasarakii

@progx If this is priced at 2 or 3 Switch consoles I would be jumping up and down for joy and buy it day one personally.

You cannot buy a PC speced out for gaming at that price so this would be the best gaming PC for price ever made in the history of PC's.

My bet is the i3 version, can barley run modern games will be about $1,000, i5 will come in at $1,500, and i7 will come in at $2,000.

This thing will be better speced than a Surface Pro and the Surface Pro costs a lot of money, up to $2k at the top end.
