The My Nintendo Store in the UK has opened pre-orders for the lovely new Samus And E.M.M.I amiibo set to launch alongside Metroid Dread this October.
Available for the standard RRP of £25.99, the two amiibo come together in a special double pack. You can grab them via the link below – orders over £20 qualify for free shipping, so throw them in your basket before they inevitably sell out!

We've been keeping track of pre-orders for both the amiibo and Metroid Dread's special edition for fans across the UK and Europe, as well as North America, right here in this handy guide. Pre-orders for both sell out very quickly indeed, but it's worth keeping an eye on the retailers featured in that guide for new bursts of stock – especially as we get closer to launch.
Are you treating yourself to the new amiibo? Let us know in the comments.

Finally managed to order it at RRP. This was the 3rd set I ordered after Amazon.de and GAME; both of which were more expensive. Cancelled the AMZ order, GAME order likely closer to release just in case.
Already got a set pre ordered but grabbed another here to keep boxed and on display - I can sell my used ones once I'm finished with the game them
A word of warning to anyone pre-ordering the amiibo from Nintendo UK Store:
I was wondering why this wasn't available right away when the game went up.
Bowser's Fury and Skyward Sword both had their amiibos available to preorder the same day, but Metroid took this much longer for whatever reason.
These are cool, but with young kids that get into everything I'm passing.
Cheapest I've seen them yet with the free delivery. Glad I was able to snag them. I'll cancel my Game UK order now. Also, anyone after the CE of the game itself, that's also back in stock
@DomGC Back in stock on the UK Store man. Get in quick 😄👍
@RupeeClock I was going to say the same, but you beat me to it. =)
managed to grab the amiibo, thanks gamers
Yay got one cancelled my Game order they don’t deserve the extra £5 delivery charge even if you order it to store they still charge it 😡
"UPDATE: ...and it's gone."
In 3, 2, 1...
How the F can Nintendo sell out a preorder?
@acNewUpdates It's a tricky game of calculating demand from retailers as well as keeping your own store stocked and ensuring you don't over-promise then under-deliver on allocations vs manufacturing. I can imagine that someone, somewhere, has the headache of a lifetime every time this rolls around.
I was going to ask if these ship to the US, but that appears to be a moot point now.
just ordered not sold out yet
Thanks for the heads up! Been looking for them for ages- now just hoping neither these or my special edition get cancelled close to launch 😩
It’s still available. Thanks
@RupeeClock Yeah, this annoyed me when ordering something from them recently. Before they merged with “My Nintendo” or whatever, the Nintendo UK store accepted PayPal and that was always my preferred payment method.
Since the merger, they only allow debit/credit cards. Which kinda sucks honestly.
Ordered! And for only a few quid more than the single loftwing amiibo a while back. Ridiculous it was priced so high
If only Nintendo did the same with other region like Canada...
Yeah, yeah, yeah...
But where can I get a Loftwing amiibo?!
@RupeeClock I don’t know about your experience, but for me, I’ve had a couple of payment issues upon dispatch with Nintendo UK and they’ve worked out just fine. It might depend on your bank/card.
If only I could have it shipped to the US 😭
ill just have to wait for more to be restock at gamestop here in the u.s.
@GammaPhonic
Is this prior to them changing to My Nintendo Store?
The former "Nintendo UK Store" and the current "My Nintendo Store" are operated by two entirely different companies. The previous company was The Hut Group and I had a lot of good experiences with them, whereas I've had a number of bad shopping and customer support experiences with the latter.
@RupeeClock Ah, so they completely did away with THG? That makes more sense now.
My good friend in the UK purchased for me and will ship it over here ! What a bud. So grateful.
None in the states? This is frustrating 😤
Everyone is jumping so fast in these and trying to scalp them. I’m over here like ummmm this isn’t limited edition so there will be plenty at release.
I see that it's still available in UK, but still not in US.
I really think I'm going to take the day off work and camp outside Nintendo NY for this release. Want the amiibo double pack and the special edition, maybe even the OLED…
Nintendo UK doesn't ship to NA/USA.
@MS7000 @RupeeClock I think we've already discussed this but I need it to be a cautionary tale to anyone purchasing from the "new and improved" My Nintendo Store UK, I had placed a pre-order for the Zelda & Loftwing amiibo well in advance of release date and when it came time to take payment their systems completely effed it up. I've spent the past couple of weeks trying to sort it out to no avail and their answer is basically "sorry please try placing another order" as if there was still stock of the bloody thing!
I will not be risking this again, that's for sure.
@Otoemetry
There was something that really caught my eye. My Nintendo Store UK advertises that it has 97% customer approval (would buy again) on Reevoo, but the data for this dates back a whole 12 months.
My Nintendo Store only launched in April 2021 however, 4 months ago. It is technically a separate entity from the previous store managed and operated by The Hut Group, and as such I have to wonder if this falls under misleading advertising.
@RupeeClock well the store itself has been in existence for quite a while, but if you remember it was only for My Nintendo merchandise and used to have the ridiculous £6.99 delivery fee to ship everything from Germany... but you're right about the change from The Hut Group being very recent, and I'm certain their satisfaction scores will take a nosedive as it seems there are numerous complaints about their systems floating around the internet at the moment. Even the customer service agents are aware of the issues enough to say they've had "teething issues" since the relaunch, but that doesn't help us much does it.
