Really hoping they put ds for nso with the ability to use the gyroscope for the touchscreen, it was the best solution for mario 3d world.

Would love to see ds games. The switch would be a great console for it because you can play all button focused games on the tv and the short ammount of touchscreen focused games on handheld

Rather not see nintendo characters in any violence further than smash bros

Would be nice if they showcase playable spaceworld demos and beta builds like mario 64 and even devopment history

Starfox hasn’t been allowed to have any progressing or exciting stories after the gc era thus only being allowed to repeat the story of starfox 64 but somehow giving less. Pikmin was one of the only nintendo games to have direct sequential stories in thier series. After playing pikmin 3 I was still shocked they kept that aspect being released in the modern nintendo era. But I was afraid if they were to make more the story would be influenced miyamoto and pikmin 4 proved me right repeating previous stories

The story for mario games has always been minimal but yet still brings you such wonder. but eversince the wii era they’ve been really limited from doing that by the mario mandates since then they’ve are rather lacking

With the release of Luigi’s mansion 2 on switch it seems like nintendo could be working on some kind of 3ds emulator? I hope to see 3ds on nso either on switch or its successor.

I hardly ever herd any distaste for pikmin 2 until that 1 youtuber made a video on it. Its not as challenging or archaic as it made it out to be. It’s the fan favorite of the series

It’s likely i wont play another new zelda game unless its a traditional one like the n64/gc era

I think it might have a chance on the next console, I imagine they could let you test all the games cloud versions and if you like it you can download it to save on space

This game is for the competitive players and it would make no sense to re-release it unless the gameplay is 1:1 while still counting on some possible additions like online and controller settings

Was really hoping for classic pokemon games on nso I think if the word is spreading around enough they should release them

Glad pokemon on nso is the 2nd most wanted announcement if it doesn’t come out hopefully the word goes out to the company for it to happen

@Grumblevolcano i think they might have something like red/blue and ruby/sapphire on the same day then later in the year they’ll release gold/silver and fire red/leaf green on the same day. yellow and emerald somewhere between?

I see the inportance of good emulation but Bums me out a little the criticism towards the n64 could of delay the relese of the gba thus making it longer to release the library instead of improving it after

The best kind of remakes use the same egine but replaces the models, textures, and, lights to be hd.

The only downside is that the wii version they based this off removed glitches that is usesd in speedruns and sequence breaking

I think they need to make the box art appeal more to gamers i think the cutesy image might be one of the reason for low sales not bring in too many new players that aren’t familiar with the gameplay

So happy they announced gameboy advance games right after, i was already counting it out until next year.. phew. For the nintendo direct that’s usually around spring im not expecting one until after the wii u/3ds eshop closes.. i hoping they’ll announce one of these things for the switch like gb virtual console, wwhd/tphd port. Maybe old pokemon game releases like from r/b/y to ruby and sapphire? Id really appreciate the ds games aswell

Banjo tooie, they put everything youd want in a sequel plus 100% more. Im afraid they might have trouble emulating it because it has alot of pirate prevention crashes that actually checks for the physical cartridge

@MagicMan id would of held off my expectations until after gen 10 for a unova remake/reboot. but this console generation seems like its going to be longer than the previously established. so maybe i think there may be a slim chance of them doing a unova legends alongside a low resource remake… bdsp style since they could just reuse the assets. Tho I wouldn’t expect it until next year since this year could just be s/v dlc. Even saying that sounds like a tall order to me tho haha.
