@RustedHero Excellent!! Unfortunately, I was not near an N64, or Cube or Wii U that´s why I´m very grateful to have this opportunity. My son y lucky enough to share a Switch with me and we play together all the 8 and 16 bits classics plus SMO, Mario Kar 8 and others! We are disvering these 3Ds one together!
And of course I preordered Land!!!

Thank you for your gaming services, my friend!

Bugs are there, that’s a fact but come on! Remember you love this franchise. Also, kind of in the same line I’m experiencing Mario 64 for the first time and I would like to recognize all the pioneers and brave gamers that conquered the game back then. Today, enhanced and with such a tip of the line tools as joycons and pad Pro are, I’m find it extremely difficult to succeed in this jewel of game. My respect to all of them.

@Clyde_Radcliffe Odyssey was más first 3D Mario. In fact my last Mario I played back to was on a Super Nintendo (I owed a Wii but dedicated my time to Zelda, sports and CoD back then) and many many elements on the SMO, like stages, characters, mechanics, were completely random, new, out of the blue for me so I feel you. In my case I did enjoy them and was able to move one and complete it. My son then got involved and started checking out old entries (that skipped) and and sharing some vids with me and then everything made sense. I even got the Super Mario U remake for switch and you can see how, despite obvious and needed fresh elements, Odyssey is the ultimate expression of a maturing Mario where all adds up.
