@sandman89 @WiltonRoots ye could always try importing the japanese version of okami as it comes with an english version that the switch auto detects. I got my physical version off eBay. It was just a case of waiting an extra week for the game to ship to me.

@shani I think your being a bit unfair to the site on this occasion. A few months ago they put out a request, to the people visiting on a regular basis, for ideas to improve the site. I don't know if I was the only one who requested it but making a highlight reel of the best eshop releases that month was something I wanted because I was finding it difficult to keep up with the amount of releases recently.
If anything I think it shows that they listen to their readers which should be celebrated.

That zelda gamecube controller looks sweet. It's definitely one i'll pick up at launch.

I wasn't planning on getting this since I have smash on the Wii U but the sheer amount of content for ultimate has convinced me otherwise. Actually the music content alone is worth the price of purchase in my opinion.

I can see myself picking this up. The last broken sword I played was on the wii so I feel I'm due a good point and click adventure.

Some themes for the switch would be a nice idea.

October seems like a good fit. Especially with halloween at the end of the month.

One thing I wouldn't mind is maybe a top 5 or top 10 eshop highlights at the end of the month. The switch seems to be getting a lot of indie games lately and I feel I'm possibly missing some good games due to the sheer volume being released.

I got RPGmaker fes on the 3ds and really love it. So I'm definitely interested in MV.

Hopefully they have another game to announce for the holidays and held off on revealing it.
They might have felt that smash was going to steal all the thunder at E3 and a later reveal might work better for the game.

Sounds good to me. I'm really looking forward to E3 this year. Nintendo have kept the second half of 2018 under wraps so far, so I'm hopeful there'll be a few good surprises this year.

It makes sense that there could be another one soon when you look at the games that are coming this year that never got mentioned.

@ThanosReXXX my bad on the rouge. I never really bothered too much with the single player as the on foot sections weren't great but the co-op with my buddy gave me my fondest memorys of the gamecube so 3 will always be the better game.

Looking at that list and some of the games in the comments. I think if gamecube virtual console does come it'll cost me a small fortune.

Rouge squadron 3 and fire emblem could really do with being on that list.

I really like the voice work in this game so I'll be keeping that slider on but its nice that they gave the option to turn it off for those that wish it.

Nintendolife should do this list again this time next year and see if the results change after the hype for odyssey dies down.
My favourites: 2d- super mario world. 3d- Super Mario 3d world. Overall- Super Mario World.
I plan to get odyssey at Christmas so I couldn't rate it against the other games yet.

I haven't seen one in the wild since launch. Hopefully one will turn up before Christmas.

@Chandlero I've been playing xenoblade chronicles x the last month too. Can't wait for 2 to come out in December.

Yes the gamecube controller is by far my favourite. I love how they resized the ABXY buttons to reflect how often they normally get used. It doesn't work out for every game but most of the time it's fantastic.

I liked wales interactives first person games so I can see myself picking this up.

I'd love to see the chaos engine on that list. One of my all time favourite co-op games.

Tengami finally something I don't own that I've been meaning to pick up. I hope it doesn't take another year and a bit for another title I want to show up.

This is the game I'm looking forward to most this year. On a seperate note, I'd love it if the first chronicles and X also came out on switch at some point. Whether on virtual console or a hd port doesn't matter although if they sold the 3 on a cart as some trilogy collection that would be amazing.

It's not my cup of tea but the more variety in the switches game library the better.

That'll be one sale lost for any game that has this practice. With my internet I can't really download anything over 5gigs in the one day without getting hit with a large fee for going over my download limit.

I still play a wonderful life on the gamecube the odd time. God help me if I ever lose that save file cause the taught of going back to the start after 15 years or so with the one save.

Me and my 3 brothers play Wcw/nwo revenge every christmas. I still haven't found a better local multiplayer game.

No gameplay or any real details revealed yet my hype jumped well past the max with the reveal.

I like how the switch is getting a lot of different colours very early on for the joy cons. Hopefully the switch itself will get a few varieties soon.

Thats handy. Sounds like they've enough of a margin in there to drop the price by around 50 quid if demand ever drops off.

I picked up my 3ds at launch and for the last year or so I've been tempted to upgrade to one of the new xl models but could never justify paying over 200euros for one considering my original 3ds still works perfectly. If the 2ds xl does release for 150euro over here I'll most likely pick one up.

@Anti-Matter I got one last christmas. Its a great device if you want to bring a bit of life back into your old snes collection.

Illusion of time and the chaos engine would keep me happy.
