When Nintendo started a 'SpotPass' of sorts with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild news posts on the Switch, it was tempting to get carried away and fantasize about new weapons and exclusive goodies. In reality the 'Tips from the Wild' are charming but mostly offer unremarkable gifts, but it's a nice weekly routine nonetheless.
This week's delight is for your horses in the game, as the post goes into the merits of bonding with them. The big tip is to feed them, so if you load the game from the news post you'll receive one Swift Carrot, two Endura Carrots and two apples.
Go on, it's worth it to make your lovely horse happy.
If you don't get that reference Google 'Father Ted' and watch every episode. You're welcome.

The real gift is the father ted clip
YEY! FATHER TED!
My Lovely Lovely Lovely Horse!
Classic Father Ted.
Just play the feking note !
My lovely horse has to be Irelands favourite eurovision song despite not ever actually being in the eurovision.
Still love that show
@NewAdvent GAH! So do I
I wish Nintendo would spend less time on TFTW and more on the Champions Ballad DLC as that's what I think the article is about every time I see a Zelda pic on here.
And it was way too early in the morning for that Father Ted clip.
I never fed the horses. In fact I barely use them, I rather go on foot lol.
That would be an ecumenical matter!
(father Ted is still one of my favourite comedies)
I need to watch everyvepisode of father ted for the nth time now 😅
Lol Father Ted! Brilliant.
Horses are unfortunately not very useful in the game. Even if you don't have many shrines and starting out, it's much more fun getting around on foot. They are useful in combat though.
Like srsly we need better rewards. At least for those who have progressed 150+hrs in the game
But anyway Father Ted
What I've taken from this is I need to rewatch Father Ted again.
Arse, Biscuits.
I just came for the Father Ted clip.

KICK BISHOP GANNON UP THE ARSE?!
@HappyMaskedGuy also we can look forwards to a Digital Foundary video explaining how the game renders ‘big things far away’ differently to ‘small things nearby’.
And let’s not forget full Father Ted/Zelda crossover would be just the thing to shift the absolute mountain of unsellable Switch units that’s built up in Ireland.
Maybe not all of them but enough that you can no longer see the collosal pile from space! Maybe it’ll even sell there like it does in the rest of the world!
