Re: Video: Batman Arkham Trilogy Side-By-Side Graphics Comparison

Fangleman32

@DennisReynolds I know Batman hasn't had a game in 8 years. I'm saying he and Supes has the most games in the entire DC library when compared to everyone else.

Superman is do for a proper game agreed, but Batman had almost 10 years worth of dedicated media to him.

Since the release of Arkham Asylum there has been:

1. Batman: The Brave and the Bold – The Videogame
2. Batman: Arkham City
3. Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes
4. Batman: Arkham Origins
5. Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate
6. Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
7. Batman: Arkham Knight
8. Batman: The Telltale Series
9. Batman: Arkham VR
10. Batman: Return to Arkham
11. Batman: The Enemy Within

Then there's the game set within the Batman universe:
1. Gotham Knights
2. Suicide Squad

Batman may not have had a game in 8 years, but he's had so much within the last decade that I think it's enough.

I mean we are just now maybe possibly getting a Wonder Woman game. Flash himself has only had two minor games from years ago. One on Sega Master System and GBA.

DC has such a huge library of characters and I think they should focus on giving some of them a chance to shine. Batman has had his.

@Debbiee No more Batman games for a while please. I'd honeslty like for lesser characters to get more games than Batman and Superman.

Those two out of all DC properties, has had the most games through the years, while the others barely have any.

It would be nice to take a break from Batman's universe and focus on other heroes for a change.

Re: Switch To Get Timed Exclusive Access To Robert Pattinson In Batman: Arkham Trilogy

Fangleman32

@KoopaTheGamer Oh, I enjoy the first entry by far. I just think as far as how Knight came out, City was the peak for the series.

At the time of it's release, the idea of open world Batman game was neat. And while it wasn't perfect, City did an excellent job for that time period.

It's just when Knight released it felt like City 1.2. Instead of an evolution of the concept, it was just more of an expansion of the previous game.

If Arkham Asylum had a sequel that didn't up the ante so much, by going open world, then Knight would have done more to surprise me.

Re: Wario's New Voice Actor Confirms Role On Social Media

Fangleman32

@Birdgas Iagree with you. I had an old acquaintance who had the mindset of never accepting anyone new.

One of my favorite voice actors is getting older and might soon retire. Which im fine with. I certainly don't want whoever replaces him to feel pressured to become a clone.

I'd rather they bring their own voice to the table and their own spin. For example, hardcore Joker fans think no one should be able to do the voice of Joker but Mark Hamil. To the point where one even suggested and im not kidding "Never make another feature starring Joker if Hamil can't do it."

Re: Takashi Iizuka Explains Timeline Placement Of Sonic Superstars

@Bobb

Mario Wonder takes place 3 years after NSBW, but two days before SMB3. SMB3 takes place the day after SMB2. Sunshine takes place inbetween SMB3 and SM3DL over the course of a weekend.

SM64 is before everything. SMM fits after SM3DW, while SMG is after SMM2, SMG2, takes place before SMR, and finally SMO takes place two hours after SMW.

I did the math, and see no issue with this order.

Re: Review: Super Mario Bros. Wonder - The Best 2D Mario Since The Super NES

Fangleman32

@Sequel I agree with you. In fact all of you. There is a feeling of victory by your own skill. Which is a good feeling vs no effort needed.

When I was kid, me and my cousin would play games on easy mode to breeze through it, but as I got older, I switched to hard mode because I enjoy the feeling of knowing I beat them game with my skills alone.

Nintendo games are in a strange spot. I get Nintendo wants their games to be accessible to everyone, but at the same time, I think they sacrificed any form of difficulty for the sake of accessibility.

People are saying Nintendo was always like this and I respectfully disagree. In the past, Nintendo did at times crank out games that required some learning curve to master.

I think over time however they lowered things to point were effort is no longer needed 99% of the time.

Re: First 4 Figures Shares Sneak Peek Of Metroid Prime 'Samus Varia Suit' Statue

Fangleman32

@FatBeverly This really isn't going to impact anything. These figures range from low 100's to high 700's. These types of collectable are for a very small and niche audience.

That's a very small group compared to average cheap figure which is about 15$ and is manufactured by the thousands.

The average gamer is more likely to buy a new phone, tv, game system than invest in these figures at that price point. The audience is very small.

Re: Review: TY The Tasmanian Tiger 4: Bush Rescue Returns - Aussie Platforming Legend Takes A 2D Turn

Fangleman32

@Manguy888A It ranges from average to mediocre. I wouldn't say beloved, but more like a small base of devoted fans.

Ty 1: Your bog standard platformer. If you played any collectable games in the last few decades, then that's basically it. It's just your typical Mario 64 in a new skin. You do however get a variety of boomerangs with special abilities that let's you find collectables or solve tasks.

Ty 2: Tried to be atleast somewhat different. Instead of an open hub where you jump into random levels, it's a small non linear openworldish type setting. Letting you free roam a bit. It's still a platformer, but in addition you get vehicles and mech suit and some more variety of weaponry.

Ty 3: Just more of same, but an even more mixed bag of random ideas from better games.

Re: Nintendo Wants Discord To Reveal Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Art Book Leaker

Fangleman32

@Friendly Does it though? These aren't private individuals who are trying to get by on sailing digital artwork,

The devs which include the artists already got thier paycheck from Nintendo. While I'm not saying whats wrong or right. I'm pretty sure Nintendo will be fine.

This leak will do about much damage to Nintendo as the suppose BOTW pirating that was hurting sales drastically.

Re: Mario Movie Improves On Characters Who Didn't Have "Much Of A Personality", Says Director

Fangleman32

@BiscuitCrumbsInMyBed Um no. Hollywood didn't do that. You do know in the grand scheme of history film is a fairly recent form of media right?

Books are older and the this trope of men are always being strong by default dates way back to some of the oldest written works in history. Where do you think "Damsel in distress" comes from?

You can't blame Hollywood for an agenda that was already pushed long before they entered the scene.
