@Bomberman64 I notice the difference and in all honesty it's quite minor and way overrated.

Just like 4k is overrated when half the games, even with DLSS need be to scaled down or some options lowered just to maintain a steady framerate.

@gaga64 Welp, nostalgia is a great money making machine, and it seems going back to the golden age, and hoping for a revival will be a money maker for SE.

Personally, I doubt many of these old franchises will be the money makers Square hopes them to be, but we will see.

At this point Gamefreak or Nintendo could release the most boring, bland, repetitive game with technical issues and zero effort and NL would give it a 9.

@Crag92 Uhhh mate...Sonic 3 came out in 1994. This may shock you, but not everyone grew up with the original sega games. Depending on the year most likely some fans grew up playing the 3d titles.

@InvisiBulbasaur To be fair Sonic was a mediocre movie. So of course top actors are going to phone it in. It's a cheap movie made to appeal to children. Actors are rarely going to give top notch performance for something as low as a video game movie. They aren't exactly jumping into these franchise for the hopes of winning an Oscar.

Videogames movies are a tier or two below comic book films. A quick paycheck is a paycheck.

@Arawn93 I think the PSP was just one unlucky system. I personally don't support piracy but I mean you can't blame them for everything if the psp wasn't so easy to hack in the first place. PSP just had poor security the moment it shipped.

@Ocaz Funny thing is piracy hasn't effected anything. Metroid Dread came out with strong sells despite being available on pirated websites no soon after it's release.

@MrHonest I'm not sure how caring about a toxic work environment is being woke. Sure it doesn't affect you, doesn't mean you aren't allowed to care.

I mean support whoever you want if you don't feel anything over it, but if someone who does care and doesn't want to show support then it has nothing to do with wokeness...like at all...

@Would_you_kindly Does Nintendo even know their own limits? They are more than willing to even let their games sneak by with issues. Quality control ain't what it use to be.

Also good on you for sticking with you principles. Seem most are offended because Meteoroid is their favorite game and don't want any negative around it. Seen many times with other gamers and bad studios.

@Styrophoamicus I agree. i don't get the pessimism with some of these comments. This fan game's existence in no minimizes, erases, or devalues the original trilogy. It's completely optional.

I swear people hold something they love so dear that something as harmless as a fan game is seen like a threat.

@Classic603 I feel the same way. I don't know how to quite describe origami king. There is a great game somewhere in th ere but the overall package is just so-so.

Now that Nintendo has placed creativity limits on the team, we won't get some of the unique ideas we saw in first 3 games.

I'm rooting for Deathloop this year and Metroid.

@Fededx Well you can't get people interested with honesty. Best way is to hype it things up as far as it can go and then let everyone come crashing down with disappointment.

@victordamazio Doesn't matter what you want. Either create something better or grow old and bitter about it. It is what it is. Unless you have enough cash to persuade Nintendo to give up the IP, then nothing is going to be done.

@Ocaz That's the entertainment business for ya. Take a beloved IP, give it the lowest budget possible, hire a cheap writer, pick any random famous person and watch as millions roll in while the film is a steaming pile of cinematic failure.

@johnvboy Hah I agree. It's funny they say it's not a "proper" Zelda game when breath of the wild is very much like the very first Zelda game. The devs themselves even stated they wanted a return back to the series roots and took inspiration from the nes title. If anything, Breath of the Wild is the truest proper Zelda sequel of them all.

@Einherjar Well if Bob Iger's claim is to anything to go by, there were no plans to make a black panther nor captain marvel. Marvel films were going to stay as nonexclusive as possible.

So in some ways she's right. I recall the outcry at just idea that spider-man might be played by a black person years ago.

What makes me happy though is BP became the highest grossing solo superhero film and it did all that on the first try.

While a Spider-man starring a black/latino kid when on to become one the best spider-man films right up there with spider-man 2. Beating out Pixar and Disney for an oscar.

Wow, I guess some people do play SMT for story. Personally I found most of them to be forgettable simply because where it excels in setting and ideas, it fails in the storytelling department.

I just focused on the best part of SMT games. Collecting demons and fusing them.

@chipia 76 is good though. That's on the high end positive scores.

@HamatoYoshi I'm going to say that's ok. At the end of the day unless a game is 100% broken, a reviewer can't determine it's monetary value as that's only something a consumer can decide.

It could be worth 60$ to you, but not me. Or vice versa.

@BloodNinja There's only 89 reviews on steam with the ration being 52/40 which is pointing towards mixed feelings. That's not quite the huge majority praising it.

Also taking the word of only steam reviews is just as terrible as taking the word of one person. Steam reviewers have to shown to be just as bias with overly praising a game or bombing it.

@NikHogan Well it's not that a Hybrid of the two is bad, it's just low quality of animation that makes the 3d cut scenes terrible. I'm pretty sure if alot of effort was put into we could have a wonderful 2d/3d hybrid and the best of both worlds.

Given Sonic's 3D game history, it's kinda sad this is the best one. Not exactly a high bar.

@tech7 Yeah, game was just ok in my book. It gets stale very fast. It's a very repetitive game. Story is just terrible.

The rewards you unlock for doing Hard Mode were just extra colors. Very poor way to motivate someone to get better scores.

@iaLgan Well RE at it's core is too ridiculous to make into any serious film. The only way I can see it ever being anything good is if it becomes campy horror film or abandon the games, becomes an entirely new franchise that is RE in name only.

The games plot are just too silly. A bunch of solders break into a trapped filled mansion led by a douche wearing glasses at night with a god complex who wants to unleash a super virus onto the world.

There is just no way any serious writer or director can make such a premise into anything that's not ridiculous.

@Wavey84 Remake Leon actually is better than old Leon. Capcom finally got rid of that cringe 2000's era of bad boy persona and actually gave him some depth. Too bad we still have old Leon for every other piece of media though.

Only a few in it's history have made it above average.

Seems like it would be a good match. Suda51's history of average games combined with Disney licensing of games for as cheaply possible, it would be the Deadpool game we all deserve.

@DK-Fan Here's the thing, I can deal with 1080p and 60fps. THe problem is many switch games can't even do that, even while docked.

Not only that, the in game quality has to be downgraded just to maintain 1080 and 60 fps which results in some games looking terrible on a big tv.
