Someone has too much time on their hands.

The shut down will affect the ability of to add friends aswell. I know people are moving on from the WiiU, but there will still be people playing games online for as long as Nintendo keeps the servers open.

The QoL thing should of happened back when Nintendo were pushing their Wii Fit and Brain Training games, or atleast kept those franchises going while the QoL was being developed.
I kinda miss playing Big Brain Acadamy on my Wii, I may have to pick it up again at some point.

Just looking at that mush reminds me why I never eat at McDonalds. Their food just looks so unappealing.

I'd love to see some new games on new hardware. They don't even need to be pushing for the latest tech, just aslong as they can make games with good looking 2D or cell shaded games. And a decent emulator for their previous consoles.

The only thing that could save GAME is drastically overhauling their online shop to fit what other online retailers are doing, but hey ain't about to do that now are they

Also, a gangster version of Metal Slug, yes I want this. This will be one game I'll be happy to get when I eventually pick up a Switch.
I would also love to see more indies make games with a comic book/cartoon look instead of the usual 8bit graphics that most seem to use.

The same people who don't care about third party games on Nintendo consoles are the first to complain when there are game droughts.
I want there to be third party games on my Nintendo consoles because I don't want to pay for a PS4 or an XBONE.

@electrolite77 I've been in that position a few times myself, having birthday money pay for day to day living. Thing is, I know that at some point during the year I'll have some spare cash, and I'll use it on buying something nice for myself.
My family know things happen, bills need paying, life gets in the way. So, they're ok knowing I'll get something eventually.

Some have mentioned gift cards, I never understand why people would pay for them. When I give somebody a birthday or christmas present and they've ask for cash, I actually give them cash. Why limit them on spending that money in one shop, especially when that shop could go bust.
GAME are their own worst enemy too, if they're having problems shifting XBOX and Playstation stock, cut down on the space they're using on thos consoles and start pushing Nintendo for once, especially with reports of the Switch selling well.
I just wish that GAME never bought out Gamestation. Gamestation were a much nicer place to buy games from.

Sometimes I think Nintendo will allow any game as long as it barely functions.

@ThanosReXXX lets just hope Nintendo uses better plastics on the SNES Mini then.
Also, just to let you know, the plastics used an the analouge sticks for the Nunchucks and Wii classic controllers, they yellow in the sun too.

@ThanosReXXX I maybe wrong, but I think they did that to keep them feeling as authentic as possible.

With exception to Star Fox 2, I wonder if it's possible to buy a used SNES and all the games included in the SNES Mini for under £200.

@All If those SNES Mini's are made with the same plastic that the original SNES used, don't leave them where the sun can react with them.
I bought a couple of Japanese Club Nintendo Super Famicom controllers, one I kept in it's box, the other I used to play my Wii VC games. The one that I was using, I left out by the TV.
The thing is, the sun shines into my room, across the chest of draws where my TV and games conesoles sit. And like an idiot, I forgot about the horrible yellowing that the SNES plastic gets from when reacting with the sun. After spending a small ransom to get them, the yellowed one serves as a reminder, be careful of your prized possessions.

This is dissapointing. It's not like it's pushing the limits of hardware technology is it.
I don't get why a kid friendly game shouldn't be on a kid friendly console, other than they just can't be bothered.

I've put a couple of hours into this so far and haven't had any glitches yet, but it's worrying to see so many people complain about it.
Considering it's been out for a feew weeks now, I'm suprised we've heard nothing from THQ Nordic on whether they're on bug fixing duties or not. And I'm worried that we never will.

Nah, I would prefer it if the cap was made the same as what Yoshiaki Kaizume was wearing.

Let's not forget that World of Goo worked perfectly fine on the Wii, so 2D boy already had experience in making it work with motion controls.
I just hope it's not another lame excuse to bring out Professor Layton on the Switch though.

The Wii VC started out perfectly fine until the indie games started to arrive.
If the Switch does get it's own VC, Nintendo really needs to get support from 3rd parties to get more variety in games. Regurgitating the same games again is just pointless.
They also need to get the team behind NES remix to do the background work, the WiiU VC looked horrible, where as the games in NES remix looked really nice.
Also, advertising the games on the eShop as a whole would be a good option. Running a quick flick advert on tv would be a start.

Can't wait till Ubisoft reports a wek before the game is due, "Oh, sorry Switch owners, the game out grew our initiall plans. We'll port over a crapy version in 2019 for you though."

If Nintendo aren't that interested in eSports, then why did they try to promote Splatoon 2 being fit for an eSport in the Switch reveal trailer.

Capcom may aswell permanently drop the prices on some of these games. I've seen their four WiiU games discounted quite a few times over the past few months

If it weren't for the fact that EA own Need for Speed, I wouldn't give a damn what they do anymore.
I'm not much of a sports fan, but I miss the GC days when they made their BIG sports series, those games were fun to play.

We need more arcade style games, much like what Sega used to put out in the 80's and 90's, even if they have current gen visuals. I'm fed up of seeing 8bit platformers all the time.
Hopefully, we'll get a few dev's that are willing to put the effort in to getting something decent onto the Switch.

My local Argos rarely have Amiibo in stock anyway, so this price drop won't be of much use.

Adventure Time, really. I didn't think anybody watched that anymore. Ohwell, I'm sure the DLC will sell well enough.

This is just another reason for the devs to moan when games don't sell in the numbers that they should.
I never understand limiting the sales of a standard box game to one retailer, unless the game is garbage and the dev's not expecting the game to sell well anyway.

I don't get the point of these online only games. A few years down the line when the consoles they're on are dead and the servers are switched off, the games are unplayable.
Atleast wiith games like mario kart they can still be played without an internet connection.

It's really sad to see Sega in the state it's in. Although I prefered the NES and SNES back in the day at home, but Sega abosolutely owned the arcades.
I really think most of Sega's arcade games would translate well onto the Switch if they treated them properly.

It'll probably be an auto run game where you have to tap the screen to swipe your sword at the enemies, or something similar toLink's Crossbow Training.

If EA continued making their BIG series I would buy their games. But, sadly, that'll never happen.

It's not like people are forced to use smart steering, so it's pretty dumb to argue against it's inclusion really.
Besides, it's nice to see some positive outcomes of this really.
Also, when my nephews play Mario Kart 8, I put it on 50cc, join in and help out by holding back and keep the CPU players back with the items. That way they feel like they've done well getting the top spots.

Give a few months, Reggie will do something right and you'll all be praising the guy.

Games that are legitimately not able to run on the Switch or 3DS I could understand, but this is just such a missed opportunity.

I was more suprised that Nintendo left it until now to make a clamshell 2DS. When reports of people getting headaches from the 3D of the 3DS, this could have been the perfect response to bring a clamshell 2DS out when Nintentendo released the original XL.

I only ever picked up a copy on my WiiU because my nephews play it when they come over to miy place. If it wasn't for them,I wouldn't have bothered as Minecraft just doesn't interest me at all.
So, when I do get a Switch, I'm not getting it again.
