I agree, from what I've seen so far this seems chock full of those WOW! "did you just see that" moments that are sadly missing from the games released up to now.

Already have pre-ordered from the eShop but am completely blanking any media on the game as I want it to be the biggest surprise possible when it finally drops, I have faith though that this will quickly turn into a must buy for the Switch 2 and there is still loads to see that hasn't been shown yet.

Glad to see it's mostly all positive feedback from those that have seen the preview, but I'm still holding off on the direct though as I want to be genuinely surprised by what this offers when it finally drops. maybe just maybe we can recapture some of those WOW! moments you got when you had a new Nintendo game with this.

I think you're probably right, I can't see Nintendo rushing a new game through just to appease all the Zelda zealots like myself.. so I guess it's just more BOTW & TOTK re-playthroughs until we have something new then.

Do you really think that Nintendo would leave it that long before they announced a new 3D Zelda I think it would be utter madness on their part at least not without releasing a remaster of something in the meantime to bridge the gap.

Sorry to hear that, I have an ongoing chagrin with Amazon over the state of it's deliveries, the amount of orders that have arrived late, simply not come or like you emailed when back in stock is off the scale and completely p***** me off. Hopefully you can get this sorted out soon and you don't have to wait too long.

Yeah, the fact that there isn't a 'proper' new Switch 2 game will greatly affect the sales of Bananza, now we just have to wait for Nintendo to pull their socks up and go ahead and release a new Mario and Zelda, even if it's only a OOT remake, c'mon Nintendo where's all the new first party games.. Mario Kart World is fine but it's still the same old s*** different day stuff! we need more new games Now!

What by dropping the price? Nah not interested, maybe will take a look at the PS6 when it drops along with it's £100 a game pricing.

I was going to say that I'd never buy digital but after already having purchased Fast Fusion and Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 that stance has changed.. it's the price that is completely getting me after having already bought MKW and Donkey Kong Bananza on cart I'm wondering how much more of Nintendo's first party stuff I can afford, plus you have the advantage of not having to swap carts every time you want to play a new game as mine is docked only and having to remove it from the dock every time I want to put in a new cart is not ideal.

I'm not too bothered about Miyamoto not being mentioned in MKW credits but could you imagine a new Mario or Zelda without a tribute to this hero, it'd be like Microsoft completely ignoring Bill Gates.

I can't understand why people wouldn't want this on Switch 2, what could be better than just zipping over to watch a quick video when you've had enough gaming or to help when you are stuck in a game, admittedly the ads would be terrible as you won't be able to use any of the blockers, but that's part of the deal I guess.

One of the reasons I'm only playing docked, can you imagine trying to play a new LOZ game in handheld mode with that p*** poor battery life.

Yeah! went ahead and bought, seems like a very well structured game for the price.. I can't play it though I feel like a complete cretin the best I've done in a race is 7th, guess I wont be unlocking much anytime soon then.. practice, practice, practice

I was thinking about getting this (then I'll have two racing games & be rubbish at both!) as it does look like something of an early Tech showpiece for the Switch 2 and who knows it might end up being a whole heap of fun, plus the pricing is extremely attractive too.
Makes me drool what Nintendo's own tech guru's are gonna to be able to produce for the console.. c'mon Nintendo pull your socks up!

I am currently looking for a new case after just having been stung once by a case that prevented me from operating the power button, if the new one I've just bought doesn't cut the mustard this might be an alternative to go for, thanks for the heads up.

Agreed, I'm stuck with the same games apart from Welcome Tour and I do feel as though Nintendo needs some more first party big hitters on the console sooner rather than later.

I won't be buying key cards or much digital either, but I can't see Nintendo not releasing it's own stuff on actual cartridges and as I'm only going to be buying first party games and the odd good indie game this really isn't going to affect me at all.

It's too late for that my pre-order is well under way.

Everyone I've talked to has cancelled their pre-orders, I'm the only one left, makes me wonder if I haven't made a big mistake.

I've already bought a screen protector, just working myself up into a fearful state over having to apply it.

So you still apply your screen protector on top of this film.. I'm sweating already having to apply my screen protector and this just makes me a whole lot more nervous, I have a disability and fumble a lot/struggle with my coordination so anything like this just makes matters worse.

Yeah, I know but I have a disability and I fumble with things and have poor coordination as a result.

I'll probably be spending my day sweating over the simplest of things, like how to properly apply the screen protector I've bought for it and continue searching for a 1TB express card here in the UK (if anyone knows of somewhere that currently has them in stock could you please let me know) doubt I'll get much gaming done at all.

Don’t plan on travelling anywhere with my Switch 2, plus it's way overpriced, you’d be able to get a third party one that’s just as good if not better if you leave it a while, for much less without the branding.

It'd be nice to see some plans for Mario and Zelda.

I've recently gotten myself a copy of Prey on PC, have to say I'd forgotten all about this as it was originally a buggy mess on release but now it's fixed I find I'm having a great amount of fun with it, the storytelling, the gameplay, the ambience are all great..

I get that Nintendo want to keep the fires burning but enough with all this extraneous nonsense, we need a new LOZ Switch 2 game NOW! or at least in the not too distant future.

I can see my Switch 2 lying dormant for most of the time, with absolutely no interest in game key cards or digital for the most part it's going to have to be left up to Nintendo to release the boxed copies of their first party games and I can't see any of them coming anytime soon, guess I'll just have to entertain myself with MKW and Donkey Kong Bananza for now.

I'll be keeping a close watch on this, looks like a lot of fun.

OK, thanks for the feedback.. don't think I'll be buying though as my Switch 2 will primarily be a docked console and the novelty of handheld mode is soon gonna wear off.

Serious question here.. would you still be hyped to play this if you already had the PC version (I do) would the Switch 2 bring anything new to the table.

I too believe this is the reason, and just having paid out for a rather cheap new telly, don't think mine includes it either.
It would be nice were Nintendo to patch it in the future though.

Does this mean that leaving it plugged in docked mode will damage the battery, as it's how I intend to use mine.

Don't think I’ll be using it much or handheld mode at all really, much more likely to just stick with the TV and the PRO controller.

I'm not surprised at all, now that Nintendo has moved the goalposts on the pricing of it's first party titles, we're going to see this happening more and more. How long before we start seeing £100 games. I don't think it'll be that long myself, how much are Rockstar gonna think they can get away with charging for GTA 6 now that Nintendo has started the race.. Mmmm lovely profit, while the poor casual users are priced out of the market.

Just started replaying Bioshock Infinite as I never actually finished it & am surprised it still holds up so well as it is now 12 years old.
The story, the gameplay & graphics are all great.. good times!

As far as all the Nintendo junkies go the £80 isn't going to matter one bit as they'll buy anything at any price with that red logo on the box. As for your more casual user like myself who supported the original Switch through it's lifespan things aren't going to be so easy with more and more people not buying simply because they can't afford to. This may well have a detrimental effect on the sales of the machine never mind it's games. Nintendo are going to have to have a serious rethink here.

I was slavering for Nintendo to release a TV only box instead of Switch 2 so at least they could compete with the other big boys on hardware grounds. But I guess the Switch Hybrid/Console thing is so deeply ingrained now that they would have been off their rocker not to capitalise on this with an upgraded Switch. So I guess It's left up to Nintendo again to deliver some ground breaking first party games so support this launch.

Good ole' Nintendo, fighting for the rights.. of whom! I emulate Switch games (all of which I own) and have no intention of stopping especially not now.

Why does it have to be a straight up contest, both games will have their merits for sure, though they are both vastly different. I do believe that GTA VI will offer a much richer experience (God only knows what the price will be though can you imagine a £90 game I'm afraid i can) than MKW and I still believe that Nintendo's offering is overpriced for what you're getting, having pre-ordered one myself.

Now we're talking, everybody show some love to the developers here, maybe just maybe they'll shame some of the other devs/Nintendo into lowering their prices.

We over here in the UK managed to escape all this pandemonium for the most part with quite a few retailers frequently having stock, you just had to check regularly, I managed to snag a base unit & Pro controller from Argos (but had to go elsewhere for the games) I wonder how much longer all this anarchy is going to continue.

I would love to see something based in and around the oceans of Hyrule for Link's next adventure, with him hopping around all the different islands as dungeons and exploring the deep oceans and all of it's underwater delights in between.
