Extra discount on already discounted games would be really nice. So far that voucher thing is pointless as all the games included I can get for less both physically and digitally in third party shops.
1. Being able to download them offline 2. Some save system so we can swap worlds (there is a shabby way but it’s limited) Bonus: Limited lives set by creators that will let the player know upon entering the world.
Dudes, I haven’t played this in ages the but please trust me when I tell you that I was specifically thinking of how cool world maker implementation would be for SMM2 earlier today.
Saw this update and bought the game. I just couldn’t get past that blurriness. Now, with AA off and sharpening set to High, once you get past the jaggy edges in around 10-15 minutes, you are basically playing the PS4 version with lower resolution and textures, completely portable.
I just can’t stop thinking of the potential if we get a stable 720p on a hypothetic Switch Pro.
Yeah I’m an avid gamer that works and has the time for more than one console.
PC is the best, most flexible and accessible overall and it’s my main platform. Switch is my go to buddy when travelling, hardly ever play docked. PS4 has very low use lately, only use it in the living room for PS exclusives and last year was very poor in that regard.
Even though I had a very rough relationship with BoTW after so many years of “puzzeldas” I ended up embracing its design and today I’m loving it beyond belief after 200 hours. That being said, if they somehow manage to implement a greater story + proper dungeons in the sequel, we might be talking about another game of the decade rather soon.
Would gladly pay 60€ a year if we actually got games from this century like, I don’t know, it doesn’t have to be Super Mario Odyssey but things like Captain Toad or Tropical Freeze would make it so much more appealing.
Astral Chain has to be my worst AAA Switch buy to this day. A game that screams generic in story, environments, characters, music, enemies and so on. Yes, the combat is deep and it’s obviously the highlight but I had a rough time with a H&S at 30fps when playing DMC5 around more than 100.
Again, I love the genre and PG previous work but this one didn’t hook me at all.
I usually enjoy their games but there is always a line where I just get tired of liberating the same outpost for the one hundred time. Repetitiveness kills their games.
I can guarantee you 99% it will stay at 30. They will just patch bugs and the input latency, maybe add some of the features from more powerful consoles but that’s about it.
There would obviously be an optional crossplay mode which you could never touch and be happy.
This is especially nice for people that have many friends on other platforms and would like to play with them even on the go.
Would have preferred if the game was an action RPG since I can’t even remember the last time I played a turned-based game. There just not my thing, but this one is keeping me pretty interested so I might be getting it.
Does the combat get deeper after many hours?
Last turned-based RPG (Edit: Guess that’s not even an RPG lol) I played was Pokemon on GBA so I’m not fond of the genre per se, yet, I find this game quite interesting as I’m 2h in the demo.
I mean, the game is replayable alright but I found higher difficulties extremely poorly made with sponge enemies OHKOing me most of the time, even with proper gear and level. Don’t think I’m gonna double dip for this one.
Dragon Quest IX is going to absorb me anyway around that time.
Payed 4,7€ for a whole year. That’s not even a bloody dinner for cloud backups and NES games I don’t care about, so the main appeal is unlimited Mario Maker 2 levels, which, for that price, I have no issues to pay.
Yes, payed online sucks, but so does Maker 2 with story mode and your creations ONLY.

Re: Community: Tried Super Mario Maker 2's World Maker Yet? Share Your Codes Here
Worlds need 2 mayor updates.
1. Being able to download them offline
2. Some save system so we can swap worlds (there is a shabby way but it’s limited)
Bonus: Limited lives set by creators that will let the player know upon entering the world.
Re: Feature: Best Nintendo Switch Graphics - The Most Beautiful Switch Games
The title should’ve been: games with the best art style. Not many here are hardly graphically impressive.
Re: Super Mario Maker 2's Final Major Update Arrives April 22nd, Adds World Maker Mode, Frog Suit, And Koopalings

I just can’t believe it.

The way nature intended is 10fps on Blightown.

Re: The Witcher 3 Now Lets You Save Across PC And Switch, Version 3.6 Patch Notes Revealed
This should’ve been on the day one version but I guess better late than never.
Got it instantly when I saw the option to turn off AA. And that sweet Eshop discount was well timed.
Re: Saber Interactive Removes All References From Social Media About Its Next Witcher 3 Update
Disable AA + sharpness on high: infinitely better than vanilla.
Re: Saber Interactive Removes All References From Social Media About Its Next Witcher 3 Update
Crossave and AA disable option?
Now I’m buying.
Re: Get Discounts On Fire Emblem, Captain Toad And More With My Nintendo Rewards (Europe)
If only they applied these discounts to another lesser-known Nintendo console that makes 90% of their revenue.
Re: Saber Interactive Says The Witcher 3 Update For Switch Will Be "Worth The Wait"
Just let us disable the antialiasing.

Switch is my go to buddy when travelling, hardly ever play docked.
PS4 has very low use lately, only use it in the living room for PS exclusives and last year was very poor in that regard.
The important thing is to have more choices.

Re: Poll: Get Your Votes In For Nintendo's Game Of The Decade
It’s between Galaxy 2 and BoTW. Choosing one of those two is a task I can’t imagine myself to overcome.
Re: Feature: Best Pokémon Games Of All Time
Breaking news lads! These lists are subjective.
Re: Nintendo Comments On How It's Handling Joy-Con Drift
Classy rubbish corporate answer that doesn’t go anywhere.
Re: PlayStation 4 Just Overtook Wii's Lifetime Sales
It’s still my go to console in terms of exclusives games this generation, though the Switch is much younger and can surpass that in the near future.
Re: Video: Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition Is "A Superb Conversion" For Switch
And then there are Resident Evil 5&6...
Re: Video: Digital Foundry Thinks Yooka-Laylee And The Impossible Lair Runs Pretty Great On Switch
Docked seems a bit low, 900p would have been much more pleasing. But anyway, this is more of a portable experience to begin with.
Re: Switch Lite Added To Joy-Con Drift Class Action Lawsuit
Ah sh**, here we go again.
Re: Switch Lite Teardown Suggests It Has The Same Drift-Prone Analogue Sticks As Standard Model
When my JC started to drift I just send it to repair. Waited a month while using my sweet Pro Controller and all good, JoyCons got back.
However, that situation here means you cant play on the Switch whatsoever :/
Yikes
Re: Gearbox Software: "Never Say Never" To Borderlands On Switch
A bundle of B1, B2 and BBFE would be absolutely mind blowing.

Re: Disgruntled Gamers Are Review-Bombing Astral Chain On Metacritic
Wait, people still take user reviews on metacritic seriously in 2019?
Re: Poll: Have You Played The Dragon Quest XI S Demo On Nintendo Switch Yet?

Re: Square Enix Confirms Final Fantasy VIII Remastered Will Be A Digital-Only Release
Grab a xxGB MicroSD (closest size to the game) + “write FF VII only” on it= have fun with your physical FF VII edition and stop crying like babies.
Re: The PM Studios Summer Sale Is Now Live, Up To 40% Off
@J-Plap

Re: DOOM Eternal Will Keep You Decimating Demons For Up To 22 Hours
I wonder if this is going to fit on a 32GB cartridge. I mean, this game will be like 60-80GB on other consoles/PC at least.
Re: Preorder Zelda: Link's Awakening In Europe And Nab Double Gold Points
How will this work if I redeem the game with the NSO voucher?
Re: Hands On: We've Played Witcher 3 On Nintendo Switch, And It's A Work Of Magic

Wii Edition is top tier.
Re: New And Improved Nintendo Switch Model Reportedly On Sale In Australia And Hong Kong
Basically a 90-110% upgrade in battery life over OG model. And they still don’t call it a refresh.
Re: The Switch Version Of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Gets Rated By The ESRB
My most awaited port but not because I’ll buy it, just want to see the technical aspects and a performance analysis.
Re: Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Mod Adds Skyward Sword's Earth Temple Dungeon
Ain’t gonna lie, getting a Switch Lite (have OG) just to mess with mods and things like these really makes me wonder.
Re: Soapbox: Should I Wait For Switch 'Pro' Or Is The 'New' Switch SKU Worth An Upgrade?
After this upgraded version the Lite literally makes zero sense. You are just sacrificing WAY too much for what makes the Switch, ehm “Switch”.
And though some might tell me that they would never play on a TV with it etc, trust me, that that will eventually come.
The only reason is for someone who already has an OG Switch but for new ppl just, please, get the regular one.
Re: Nintendo Will Reportedly Fix Joy-Con Drift For Free And Refund Customers Who Paid
The first comment shows how incompetent mods are on this website when it comes to regulating the forum.
Let’s all lie about a critical and factory flaw that Nintendo let go so we can all get new/repaired Joy-Cons, because nothing matters more in life!
Pathetic.
Re: Poll: Have Your Joy-Con Been Drifting?
First the left one. Then the right one. Had to wait over a month for repair.
Disgusting quality control. My 6 year DualShock 4 never had this issue.
Re: Review: Terraria - A Fine Switch Port That’s Missing One Key Ingredient
The price tho. 5€ on Steam Summer Sales and 30€ on the eShop. Yeah, keep it.
Re: Random: Infinite Jump Glitch Discovered In The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild
Nah man, horses are far to valuable for this. If only there was a way to get a motorcycle in this game.
