Get Discounts On Fire Emblem, Captain Toad And More With My Nintendo Rewards (Europe)

The title had me fooled. I forgot Captain Toad came to 3DS and I was thinking rewards were finally available for Switch games.

@Supadav03 Likewise! Are we ever gonna be able to spend our gold points to get discounted Switch games... or do we have to wait until the Switch is no longer in production before that happens?!

Wonder when Nintendo will move over to the Switch for offering MyNintendo discounts.

The last proper Nintendo Direct was in September. Every time I see a new article on NL I get excited it is Direct related. Alas, it never is ;_;

If only they applied these discounts to another lesser-known Nintendo console that makes 90% of their revenue.

All of these are excellent games and are worth it if you want them digitally. Physical copies are usually cheaper in my experience.

It looks like the My Nintendo discount rotation in Europe is 3DS-only like in North America now.

Hope I'm wrong but think the swap points for cash mechanic has permanently replaced the % discounts on Switch so we'll never get them.
Would be very pleased to be proved incorrect.

@Late Ever Oasis is a great game but see if the cartridge is available on clearance.

Fire emblem echoes shadows of valentia was great. If you like the old Fire Emblem games (Lyn and Eliwood or Sacred Stones) then it's an easy recommendation.

Mynintendo is the worst reward system ever. It's like a reward system that doesn't actually reward you at all. There was that Zelda Picross title at launch to be fair. I think I played that like, once. Man, I miss the Club Nintendo days!

Shadows of Valentia is a underrated FE that I dont hear much talk about. Playing it atm and Its definitely top 3 for me.

I did dust off my 3DS the other day, but only to double check that my Pokemon Bank subscription is still good. Once Home comes out and I transfer everything up, I can put the 3DS on the shelf as a display piece.

Still have Wii U plugged in, revisiting VC titles or Xenoblade X is always on my radar. Goodness I wish they'd have brought VC to Switch...

3DS pfft where's the Switch discount and at that where's the Mario Kart Tour tasks like all the other mobile games.

Was hoping Monster Hunter Stories would be similarly discounted but alas. 😕

Not really a discount because all of them are at least 10€ cheaper if you buy them as a physical copy. In my opinion the only good My Nintendo Rewards lately have been the Luigi's Mansion and Daemon X Machina Wallpapers.
