I own both consoles and if I had to pick the Switch no brainer since I already have a PC for third party games.

And then there is Bloodstained...

I still have serious doubts since it reuses the same map. There would have to be insane changes in the enemy bases placement + the addition of proper dungeons. And what is to be with the current shrines?

I mean, on 7” the resolution might be alright but after putting more than 300h of 1440p60 Ultra to this game it would be really hard to adapt.

People you need to stop dreaming. Corridor-like DOOM is one thing but TW3 is on a whole new level. It’s cloud based or designed exclusively for an upgraded model (even then I find it hard to believe).

TW3 can’t run on the actual Switch.

I finished Cuphead when it was released on PC and now I’m with it again on Switch. Needless to say it is the best version period, though controls might be a bit more tricky with more demanding bosses yet that is easily countered with the Pro Controller.

First world problems.

Provided you like the combat and what you see, this is a 10/10 game.

So far looks like a promising purchase for me but I need to have a bit more details.

Never had a 3DS but jumped on the Switch wagon and I’m in love with that console.
Ocarina is on spot even tho it’s a remaster.

I have this happening on both JC but what’s worse is that I waited 3 weeks for an official external company which operates under Nintendo and they did NOT repair them.
I came back at home and 30 minutes after there was drifting. Luckily in Europe we get 2 years of warranty so I will be sending them again until it’s fixed. I REFUSE buying new JoyCon.

After an unremarkable first year we got a mediocre second. Let’s hope things get a bit better in 2019.

So, guys from States get the games at 60$ in a physical form. In Europe it’s all digital, 90€ for the 3 games. More than 50% US price.

Please, show discontent, don’t buy these in Europe. That’s the ONLY way to send a message.

I meant 128GB versions which currently offer the best bang for the buck. And considering Switch titles are significantly smaller size wise it’s a no brainer to get one. Mine was like 30€.

This is, literally, my second most wanted game on the console after SMM2. I absolutely adored this game on PC with one of the best soundtracks I’ve ever heard in a videogame. If it comes with the expansion day one, well, a no brainer it is.

You don’t have to use imagination. The game Switches (ehm) to 30fps if you play with 3 or 4 people on the console, regardless if docked or not. It’s bad, really bad and the reason I never play it with more than one person on a console.

Yes. It’s an adapter that simulates the DualShock 4 as a Switch Pro Controller. Useful since I can use just one controller for everything (PC/PS4/Switch) instead of needing an Xbox One and Pro controller along with my DualShock 4.

It was a bit too JRPG/turn-based combat focused for my taste. Good games, just not my genres.
Not bad but I would like to see more variety first party wise.

Who needs NSMB Deluxe when you can have an infinite amount of Mario levels from diferent eras and even make your own. Now I get it why we got it first in January. Some extra cash never hurts.

One of those games best played on Switch, just like Celeste. Day one buy.

Even back then it wasn’t 60€. 40€ at best, guess you forgot that..and it wasn’t even a year old from PS3 version when it launched. Here we are looking at 7 years between the versions. Curious.

No, I disagree with your last sentense. Nintendo is the only company on the market where ports cost as a new game. That’s not a subjective option but a fact.

I didn’t have a PS3 and got The Last of Us recently on PS4 with all the content for 20€ new.

Because 60€ for almost zero effort. No new stages, modes, just new characters made for extremely casual public.
I can get it on Wii U with Luigi U for 20€ (new) so why should I pay 40€ extra for a bump in resolution and Peachette?

To consider they even call it “Deluxe” is blasphemy.

Don’t get me wrong as I’m not against the port, I’m against the money they ask for it. There is no pardon in that.

One is a 7 year old port with higher resolution, the other a complete reimagination with a gorgeous engine.
My money didn’t go to Portendo this time.

Based on what personal experience or objective information it isn’t THAT good?
It has 91 on Metacritic and I just finished my first campaign yesterday. It’s not good you’re right, it’s freaking bloody awesome.

This is really desperate.

I go digital like 75% of my library, that way my Switch is truly a portable console without the hassle of swapping cartridges.
I also play like 95% in portable mode so there is that.

Why would you like to have capped 1080p YouTube when smartphones and TV’s under 500€ can display 4K (smartphones at 1440p tho) in that app. Also, YouTube on Switch only supports 30fps.

I would still put the GC on first place. The variety of exclusives was simply astonishing.

It isn’t. There is absolutely no change from the PS4 version and the game has one ending only. It makes no sense to buy this again.

The fact they added graphical settings familiar to PC standards completely blew me away. They still need to work out those hub areas where you see 24-27fps but besides that, this might be the best looking port on the console to this date.
