Should never have released it on Switch. If you spent $70 on this lackluster port you only have yourself to blame.

@SBandy1 What scummy practise? Its basically a store with a small handful of rotating cheap skins you can earn in game and most likely won't buy regardless due to how lackluster they are. The best most desirable skins right now are the seasonal skins and they can't be got with MTX, you have to earn them by playing not buying and they are currently the looks everyone is using online not whatever little the MTX store offers.

Enjoy the new season btw it was the best one in years and has an air of classic Sunny to it.

@SBandy1 The MTX are pretty light and easily ignored, in fact they're so light i haven't even spent my free MTX currency the premium version gives you as the store has so little to spend on, i've earned far more stuff by playing then the MTX store offers. As for the "lootbox" well its basically a shrine you give 1000 koins to and get a random reward back, the koins for it can't be bought with real money and can only be earned by playing and that was just how it was in MK11.

If you're going to moan about a game you never played at least get your facts straight. In terms of MTX Street Fighter 6 is far worse.

@Westlondonmist It looks pretty bad, doesn't perform well, is pretty buggy and is always online making the handheld appeal rather moot.

The Switch version is very much a case of just because you can doesn't mean you should, it looks lovely on PS5 though.

@DogDetective That's pretty bad because the Invasion mode is the quickest and easiest way to unlock the seasonal currency that buys the limited time seasonal content, you're basically forced into playing online where the payouts are smaller.

So Switch players how bad is the port? Playing the PS5 version and i just don't see how the Switch version is running this.

@Vyacheslav333 Fully fledged story mode, tons of unlockables and various different modes. I put in over 1000K hours into MK11 and half of that was in single player modes. A visual novel that has a few fights doesn't even come close to what MK offers.

I'm sold i thought it looked pretty good. Now how about a Princess Zelda game now Nintendo?

@Cashews I was meaning gaming as a whole, on PS5/Xbox the $70/£70 price is sadly more or less standard now. Switch rarely gets that price as its a rare a new AAA release hits it at launch.

@Vyacheslav333 Yeah i would rather play a cinematic story then a mediocre visual novel that has a few fights put into it. Fact is NR raised the bar for single player content in fighters, MK has always been stacked with content and its why Capcom went hard on single player content for SF6.

@nocdaes The Tekken, Street Fighter and MK community rarely crossover and most of the SF and Tekken community are too snobbish to play MK. Nah MK will do well as its very popular and appeals to a far wider audience.

The Steam Deck is PS4 level and its around £350ish. A PS5 level Switch 2 what would straight up need a SSD as well is going to be around £400-£500 at the very least. Sorry i don't buy it and would be a 180 that would kill the momentum the Switch built.

@SalvorHardin I mean in MKX and MK11 the characters were aged up a fair bit, the characters were mostly young looking or just plain young prior to MKX. It makes sense to go back to the younger days expecially from a narrative standpoint.

@SwagaliciousJohnson I mean its not its a direct sequel. By that logic Spider-Man 2 is DLC, Pokemon Silver/Gold is DLC, Smash Ultimate is DLC, God of War Ragnarok is DLC, Baldur's Gate 3 is DLC, The Last of Us Part 2 is DLC and so on. Such a dumb take and its like you have never see direct sequels before.

I swear R* are sponsoring these DF Red Dead videos as they make pretty wild claims in them. The 360 is better then the Switch version if ran on a Series S/X, way less blurry and runs at 1440p/4K. Even the PS4 is lacking due to a softer and more blurry image compared to the sharper and clearer 360 version running in BC.

BG3 could very steal Zelda's thunder and you know what i'm glad this year has at least two games of this level.

Haven't got a clue but i am 100+ hours in and barely started the story.

@HotGoomba Jedi Survivor is 150GB on PS5 and most games are around the 80GB-100GB range nowadays so yeah that is small.

The fact two games this year are in the high 90's on MC shows how great this year is for gaming. The fact TotK has a contender is pretty damn awesome.

@Pupuplatter I used to buy Pokemon cards as a kid and even now i still buy Yugioh cards as i collect and play the game and i have zero gambling problems, i buy a scratch card each month on pay day and that's it. Most kids are aware they aren't going to pull the money makers and just like opening packs, can always buy singles if you're after a specific card anyway.

All i care for is the Gameboy PM games being added to Switch online, would love to play Crystal and Emerald again but yeah i don't have high hopes.

Incredible game and easily one of the best RE games out there, it set the bar for remakes and has yet to be beat in my opinion for remakes.

Yes the performance is bad and its launch state was awful but its actually one of my favourites in the series. I loved the story and its characters, love the new Pokemon and i really love the open world. I'm glad its sold well.

@Anti-Matter Its just a picture of the box there's zero gore or adult stuff on it. I'm sensing though you're just messing around going by this post but if not just chill its box art and nothing more.

@TenEighty Get used to having next to no 3rd party games then with the ones that do appear running like hell. Yes a Switch 2 really needs to happen and TotK is hard proof of that a game that while very excellent is very limited by the console its on.

Currently playing Remnant 2 an excellent soulslike shooter and there's no chance in hell it could ever run on the Switch and the same applies to others like Jedi Survivor.

@Keyblade-Dan Street Fighter always have small rosters at launch and SF6 is one of the most packed fighters ever so who cares if it doesn't have 20 extra characters you were never going to play as anyway.

Charizard's my favourite PM so i will never complain at getting an event one.

@Wexter Yeah i haven't ignored the performance issues its just the high points for me outweigh the issues.

@NinjaNicky Performance is pretty bad in TotK as well because guess what the Switch is pretty dated. Forgettable characters? I mean one of the things fans love about the game is the characters especially Larry and Nemona. The open world is fine, its there to see PM in the wild living their life and to catch them and it succeeds at that.

I think its the best since Gen 5 because its got a good story, great characters, a great rival, great selection of new PM with some very strong new additions, a big open world with complete freedom, PM giving more life then ever, a great soundtrack and adds some nice QoL stuff.

@NinjaNicky The bugs are more or less gone now and the game is excellent and easily the best entry since Gen 5, other then performance issues and the poor launch the game is one of the series high points.

@NinjaNicky Yes giving out a free PM is just the same as fixing bugs (that are more or less gone now).

@SpaceboyScreams Disagree, yes the performance is rough but S/V are some of the best PM games since Gen 5.

Normal type will be pretty easy to deal with, i think my go to Ape will deal with him just fine.
