Been playing on my PS5 Pro and yeah great fun. Really love the rise of boomer shooters this Gen.

The game has been walking on a very tight rope so yeah not shocked and i hope Nintendo win this one.

@AStupidID If you have any other console then get it for that as the visual hit is huge on Switch, unless you need portable play there's zero reason to get the Switch version.

T-1000 better have Robert Patrick voicing him.

Question is will Sony release more games on Switch and the Switch 2?

@OctolingKing13 How is this easy shinies? The 7 star raids are all set in stone and everyone catches the exact same PM, its impossible to shiny hunt in them.

@RobTheIII We got a reveal of new Pokemon Legends game based on Kalos that will feature the return of Mega's, i see that as a win.

@NintendoKnower Fun fact the vast majority of people who play Pokemon don't care all that much over the technical state. Grown adults on Reddit and Nintendo Life crying over a game ultimately designed for kids in mind aren't the target audience and never were. Gen 9 was a fantastic Gen it was just brought down by the technical side that so so framerate aside is pretty much sorted now. Palworld will come and go while Pokemon will still the biggest media franchise in the world and the games will still sell more then Palworld ever will.

@RubyCarbuncle I spend my time hating Pokemon on here? Well that's straight up BS as i love Pokemon and have heavily defended Gen 9 many many times on here but hey as you love evidence so much show me evidence of me doing such a thing.

If anything happens to Palworld its because legally there's a case, if nothing happens then clearly TPC and their lawyers have found no wrong doing. Nintendo/TPC can't just shut random games they need actual grounds, if Palworld is innocent then don't worry its perfectly safe.

@RubyCarbuncle So if Nintendo/TPC find evidence and prove Palworld stole designs and then sue or even get the game shut because of that you will stop supporting the wronged party because the makers of your new favourite toy got caught out for theft?

Copying Pokemon and Ark's gameplay isn't an issue but stealing designs and profiting from that no matter what you think of Pokemon is just 100% wrong and if the Devs have done that i hope Nintendo and TPC wreck them in court.

@IceClimbersMain They are no where near that bad. Palworld looks worse especially with its asset flip art style that barely works on Xbox.

@Princess_Lilly Most of the best Pokemon designs came in Gens that aren't Gen 1 and Gen 9 contains some of the best PM in the entire series. Gen 1 has some very good designs but take away your nostalgia its no better then Gen 2 or Gen 3 or Gen 4 and so on, it has many of the things people hate about "modern designs" as well.

@SmogHobbit The games a complete mess on Xbox with a terrible framerate, constant crashes and bugs galore. Gen 9 actually had better launch, it had issues pretty big ones but no one where near Palworld's issues. Where an "AI made asset flip" struggles to hit 30fps on the Series X you have to question things.

@Toastmaster Rumour? There's mounting evidence of it increasing by the hour. It being a monster tamer crossed with Ark isn't the issue its the monster designs themselves.

@westman98 Ok fair enough i'm just basing that on a lot of comments i've seen but i wouldn't be shocked though, these designs do have an air of AI about them imo so i suppose we will see.

@KnightsTemplar and this impacts physical games as well as its "DLC" you download from in game.

@Lxlxrxzx What disrespect? A shoddy technical state is the only thing Gen 9 is really guilty off and guess what Palworld is far far worse in that regard.

Nice to know you're fine with theft and using AI to help with that though.

@Eagly_lmtd_xmasskin Palworld's Devs seem to be literally taking already existing designs and then tweaking them, The Boy's didn't steal Superman's design while the Devs behind Palworld clearly are stealing designs with the help of AI.

Also you need to look parody laws as it isn't what you think, you can't just steal art and say well its a parody so its cool. Homelander doesn't look or act like Superman, he's based on Superman and his look is inspired but he's very much his own character and his look is very much stands on his own. Also The Boys isn't a parody and calling it one is like calling Watchmen a parody.

The issue i feel isn't copying the formula as clearly Nintendo/TPC have no issues there but the fact the Devs have ripped off so many PM designs. Before people say "yeah but PM has over 1000 designs so it would be hard to be original" well i say Digimon never had that issue, Persona/SMT don't nor do games like Cassette Beasts. The designs in Palworld really are on thin ice i feel between being inspired and just outright plagiarism.

Funny because visually its worse then the Switch PM games and its technical state on Xbox is really bad and far worse then Gen 9's launch state.

@NintonicGamer Gen 7 changed the formula and it was hated for it, Gen 9 makes massive changes to the formula and people ignore that and still cry about its technical issues that haven't been that bad in nearly a year.

A lot of the designs are just rip offs and come across as copying homework but changing a few things, i can see TPC taking legal action for sure.

As for the game itself well its a technical mess right now and is not great visually, in fact visually it's worse then Gen 9 and its techinal state is far worse then Gen 9's launch state as well however when its not crashing it is pretty fun and a perfect Gamepass game. Overtime i can see it evolving into something great but right now if i were to pick a monster taming/catching game that isn't Pokemon then Cassette Beasts is the best option. Despite what the internet is saying Palworld isn't what Gen 9 should have been as all the things Gen 9 and Palworld both do Gen 9 does better.

1TB at the very least, games are getting bigger and bigger so yeah anything less won't be ideal. Anyone picking 256gb clearly doesn't own other consoles.

Day 1 buy. The newer games have surpassed it but BM is still a classic.

Yeah i shell be all over it as i loved Violet and its DLC.

@BonglyBits You also have to buy the game and a Switch as well.

Nor every game needs to last forever.

@NinjaNicky Pretty much every fighter does this and fighters before DLC were forcing you to buy "super" and "ultimate" editions to get the extra characters, wanted Scorpion in MK3 well you had to buy Ultimate MK3.

@Serpenterror Forspoken doesn't deserve to be on that list. Its not a great game far from it but its not a bad or broken game either its just very average and so so, i will say its worth playing once it hits Plus though as the movement system to explore the big if empty open world is a ton of fun and the combat is also pretty solid.

This will never be fixed as Nintendo just don't care. Let's face it the online store is terrible and again its because Nintendo don't care. I don't expect much improvement with the Switch 2.

Been playing all weekend and honestly i love it and its easily the highpoint of Gen 9. The new map is great and like with the base game the characters, story and writing are some of the best in the entire series with Carmine easily being one of my favourite characters in the series. Love the new features added and while its rather pointless i do love we can actually play as the Pokemon now even if its really limited in what you can do.

Overall Violet has gone down as one of my favourite entries, yes its performance is bad and yes visually its not good but the high points for me far outweigh the bad.

Yeah this struggled on PS4 so i'm not shocked the Switch is struggling hard with it. Its an amazing game though no matter where you play it.

Between the dismal loading times and so so performance on Switch as a PS5 player i wouldn't even want to play with Switch players 😂

@Sisilly_G Starting in Gen 8 not every Pokemon will be in every Gen and that applies to Mythicals and Legendaries as well. Gen 8 had Celebi and even had an event to get a shiny one but Gen 9 doesn't have Celebi but it does have Deoxys what Gen 8 lacked.

@Sisilly_G Celebi can't be obtained in Gen 9 so the chances of getting it right now are pretty much zero.
