I dread to think how this will look and run on Switch 2. It takes a PS5 Pro for this to look anywhere decent.

I don't get it. Cyberpunk and The Witcher 3 have no censorship. Agony is on Switch and granted while Agony is censored (like all console versions) it still features nudity. Like i thought Nintendo had moved past this and were pretty cool with adult content?

@Pillowpants Yeah the rewards carry over to the next season. Its pretty easy and quick to get them as well, as long as you have Megas unlocked you can unlock everything within 15 mins or so.

Now how about all the Xenoblade games next Nintendo please. 60fps is the big want but i also want a big res boost especially for handheld, XBX looks pretty fine in handheld but 1-3 look pretty bad in handheld especially the first game.

So he used everything the game offered here and didn't create anything himself? I fail to see what rules are broken here? He literally just used the stuff the game gives you.

When the game is being Metroid the game is great but the boring desert and poor cast do let it down. Its a really good game yes and i would put it above Prime 3 but its faults are pretty big even if the highs are big as well.

@WhiteTrashGuy The Switch 2 itself supports VRR but not when docked so if you play on a VRR TV you won't get the VRR.

Amiibo is just a worse version of MTX and its disgusting people turn a blind eye to it. They should offer early unlocks and nothing more.

@FrenchVaniIIuxe Nintendo allow Agony on Switch and there's nothing vile about BG3. The Bear wasn't a real Bear as he's a Warebear abd can freely change form at any time, if that offends you then Avatar must offend you or Guardians of the Galaxy or any film that depicts Humans with Vampires/Warewolfs.

@PharoneTheGnome Because they rushed out a broken version for no reason to the point its now delayed in Europe because of it. I don't care how small the team is they screwed up something that could have easily been prevented.

They launched it broken because they rushed to meet the Xmas season, it saw no release outside of the US, its now delayed everywhere else until the patch hits and its now been weeks with no patch or release outside of the US.

ZA might be my favourite Switch era PM game. The city setting is really refreshing as is the real time combat. Even the story and characters are pretty solid.

The PS5 being on sale didn't help as giving the current climate it made sense to get the PS5 while it was on offer.

@Yoshi3 I mean it worked for Zelda pretty well. Granted MP4's open desert area sucks though.

@Kingy I mean this is par the course with RE they only show you in the early stuff as to not spoil everything else. Check out Village's trailers and notice how most of it just focused on Lady D and the early game. Same with RE7 where the later half is more or less non existent in marketing.

@JohnnyMind Don't really need luck as its dead easy to reach S even really early on before you have a good team. As soon as you unlock Megas and have a few Mega Pokemon you will get to S in less then 20 mins.

@JaxonH You can laugh all you want but the game is already heavily stripped back visually on consoles with poor textures, low res and stuff and this is just PS5 Pro its even worse on base consoles. Cull NPC's is an old thing to say because the only NPC's you see in a hunt are the other hunters hunting with you and the NPC's in camps are vendors and key NPC's, how do they cull them without changing the game fully? Don't expect native 1080p and don't expect a locked 30fps.

The games a mess on anything that isn't a PS5 Pro so i dread to think how the Switch 2 would handle it. Honestly i would rather Rise get a Switch 2 upgrade and a port of World.

I think its had a very strong first 6 months. Mario Kart, Donkey Kong, Metroid Prime 4, Pokemon and Hyrule Warriors is one hell of a line up.

@SoIDecidedTo I dunno as kids i found we relied on cheats and cheat devices more often then not.

Locking lower difficulty options to certain characters in a game where a huge load of players will be small kids is such a stupid move. Like yeah of course young kids would rather play as Mario or Peach and not a different coloured Yoshi or a character they never heard off.

Damn wish i knew i would have got it at that price.

@LastFootnote Giving how insanely well the Switch 2 is selling i don't why you would say that. If anything from a business move this is pretty great for them because now new buyers will be forced to spend full priced on Mario Kart if they want it.

Fun fact marketing budgets aren't counted towards the films budget and marketing budgets aren't public info, no one but the studios knows it. Fun fact film budgets aren't public info either unless earning calls reveal it with most box office analysts guessing it.

Let me guess Critical Drinker fan? Snyder fan? Gunn has never expressed worry and in fact his contract was recently extended. Most films hit streaming not long after cinema's its been a thing since 2020 where have you been. WB do this with nearly every film now.

It will be interesting to see how Rebirth performs when it hits the Switch 2.

@FrenchVaniIIuxe Superman and Fantastic Four very much did. In fact it was recently revealed FF ended up having a budget of like 180M or something making it one of Marvel's cheapest films. Gunn, WB and Netflix have all called Superman a success, in fact Netflix have been pretty open about being happy with Superman and wanting to keep that going.

Yeah its a fantastic game. Really hope it gets DLC as i need more of this game.

Its a shame really because if the input lag wasn't so awful you could forgive the 30fps due to the visuals matching the PS5 version.

I wouldn't call NMS a perfect match for others at all unless you mean the aging creaky PS4 and X1 versions.

Cyberpunk and Outlaws are impressive ports though. I have no interest in playing these versions over the PS5 versions but the fact you can play games like this handheld these days is pretty damn incredible.

Finding Ranked pretty easy so this should be an easy get.

Better get used performance issues from 3rd party games as its only going to get worse.

Really hope we get some paid DLC on the scale of past games. From a gameplay and technical standpoint its easily the best of the series but content wise does feel a tad lacking compared to the prior games even in their base versions.

Yeah been playing it most of the day and its been great playing it again. Funny enough despite not being a PC gamer this was how i played it back in the day as it came free with the PC we got back then.

@RiasGremory It might be the best looking 3rd party game on Switch 2 but that doesn't make it one of the top 10 best looking games of the year. DF list doesn't even have Kingdom Come 2 and E33 among many others so a Switch 2 port of an old game stood no chance. CP77 isn't even the best looking game on Switch 2 as Metroid Prime 4, Donkey Kong and Mario Kart World exist.
