I think its had a very strong first 6 months. Mario Kart, Donkey Kong, Metroid Prime 4, Pokemon and Hyrule Warriors is one hell of a line up.

@SoIDecidedTo I dunno as kids i found we relied on cheats and cheat devices more often then not.

Locking lower difficulty options to certain characters in a game where a huge load of players will be small kids is such a stupid move. Like yeah of course young kids would rather play as Mario or Peach and not a different coloured Yoshi or a character they never heard off.

@LastFootnote Giving how insanely well the Switch 2 is selling i don't why you would say that. If anything from a business move this is pretty great for them because now new buyers will be forced to spend full priced on Mario Kart if they want it.

Fun fact marketing budgets aren't counted towards the films budget and marketing budgets aren't public info, no one but the studios knows it. Fun fact film budgets aren't public info either unless earning calls reveal it with most box office analysts guessing it.

Let me guess Critical Drinker fan? Snyder fan? Gunn has never expressed worry and in fact his contract was recently extended. Most films hit streaming not long after cinema's its been a thing since 2020 where have you been. WB do this with nearly every film now.

It will be interesting to see how Rebirth performs when it hits the Switch 2.

@FrenchVaniIIuxe Superman and Fantastic Four very much did. In fact it was recently revealed FF ended up having a budget of like 180M or something making it one of Marvel's cheapest films. Gunn, WB and Netflix have all called Superman a success, in fact Netflix have been pretty open about being happy with Superman and wanting to keep that going.

Yeah its a fantastic game. Really hope it gets DLC as i need more of this game.

Its a shame really because if the input lag wasn't so awful you could forgive the 30fps due to the visuals matching the PS5 version.

I wouldn't call NMS a perfect match for others at all unless you mean the aging creaky PS4 and X1 versions.

Cyberpunk and Outlaws are impressive ports though. I have no interest in playing these versions over the PS5 versions but the fact you can play games like this handheld these days is pretty damn incredible.

Finding Ranked pretty easy so this should be an easy get.

Really hope we get some paid DLC on the scale of past games. From a gameplay and technical standpoint its easily the best of the series but content wise does feel a tad lacking compared to the prior games even in their base versions.

Yeah been playing it most of the day and its been great playing it again. Funny enough despite not being a PC gamer this was how i played it back in the day as it came free with the PC we got back then.

@RiasGremory It might be the best looking 3rd party game on Switch 2 but that doesn't make it one of the top 10 best looking games of the year. DF list doesn't even have Kingdom Come 2 and E33 among many others so a Switch 2 port of an old game stood no chance. CP77 isn't even the best looking game on Switch 2 as Metroid Prime 4, Donkey Kong and Mario Kart World exist.

@ElRoberico Yeah its pretty crazy how high you can fly. You can even fly above the clouds during a storm and see them raging below you.

@somnambulance Oh i agree Shadows is incredible from a visual side especially on the Pro where RTGI can be enjoyed at 60fps with much clearer image if PSSR is on. On my list of best graphics of 2025 its most likely 2nd only to Death Stranding 2.

@Oldstalk AC Shadows doesn't run great on it. Its locked at 30fps what ok fine expected but it doesn't stick to hit and the loss of RTGI raises questions on how its going to deal with games where RT is the only option. Avatar only has RTGI it can't be switched off and giving how massive the game world is and how dense it is with flora and fauna i can't see the Switch 2 running it well or at all.

Yes Avatar is more demanding. It has a more dense world with tons and tons of flora and fauna, a massive focus on verticality where you can even fly above the clouds and the map is massive. It also only has RTGI as its lighting solution. You clearly haven't played Avatar so why argue this?

@somnambulance It looks better then Yotei but it doesn't run better. At best its on par with performance but overall Yotei sticks to the 60fps far far more often even in the RT Pro mode thats holds 60fps pretty much 99% of the game.

@RiasGremory They aren't going to put the 3rd worst looking version of Cyberpunk (if we include the PS4 and X1 versions) on a list of the best looking games of 2025. Its a great port yes but its far from the best looking games of the year.

@michellelynn0976 Console versions of Cyberpunk not more advanced then Avatar. Avatar is extremely dense with fauna and flora and only has RTGI. The chances of it running on Switch 2 are pretty slim especially when the Switch 2 struggles with AC Shadows a less demanding game.

@Smithicus The 2nd movie made over 2B and is the 3rd highest grossing film ever. Clearly the audience is very much there and i'm willing to bet the new one will also be a 2B+ film. I don't think Disney and Cameron care about lack of memes when each film makes more money then anything else in film.

Yeah its a very demanding game due to how dense the flora and fauna is, you can't just tone it back either as its a massive part of the game.

@Oppal21 You understand a "better machine" isn't really possible at £400 and with good battery life. Like seriously i get around 2 hours max battery life at full brightness as it is.

@Duncanballs I dunno i think its fair to expect the game to match the og PS3 version at the very least. God forbid some people don't want to settle for less. Tell me if Xenoblade X was visually worse then the Wii U version would you have defended that?

@JohntheRaptor Far from it. The Pro can brute force past a lot of its issues but its still fairly messy even on that.

Both Hades II and DK are more then worthy but Clair Obscur is basically this years Baldur's Gate 3.

The fact its not 60fps despite being 13 years old is freaking ridiculous. The Switch 2 is more then capable of running it at 60fps.

Took me around 15 mins of ranked play to get all the Kalos starters mega stones so this should be painless.

Well it was made for the Switch 1 in mind so it should be pretty solid.

Paramount is in Trump's pockets right now and is turning into a very right wing studio so no way in hell do i want Paramount owning WB. Netflix are very much the lesser evil here.
