@Captain_Gonru Pretty sure they explicitly said they would be free updates in the UK direct. I wouldn't expect any less seeing as some of those stages that are held back have been in trailers since January. Be pretty shady practices if they charged

The pricing model for Splatoon is ridiculous at the moment, $60 in the US? What extra is being sold seriously it just points to how out of touch NOA are and are only pushing Splatoon towards failure. I have preordered here in the UK for £25, that's like $38!
Also Yoshi appears to be the same price DKC and hyrule warriors etc at being £30 or around $40 dollars here

@Inkling In an edge interview they confirmed there would be more game modes in ranked battle. Going by your train of thoughts though there should be more modes for regular battle too, as else its just turf war.

Really looking forward to this! By the way has anyones copy been dispatched yet? Mine hasn't so i'm assuming i'll get to play it on Friday

Just Kirby physically for me. Really hope it does okay sales-wise because I would quite like to see another Kirby game on the Wii U, I'm assuming judging by Nintendo's silence on the matter that it didn't perform particularly well in America and Japan

@AyeHaley 100% agree, its becoming way more trouble than its worth. When a massive fan is saying that, you know something is being done very very wrong.

The whole amiibo situation is utterly insane. Nintendo don't you understand that you would make more money if you just met demand instead of other people leeching off the unneeded scarcity of certain amiibo? This guy is out of touch, actually Nintendo is out of touch. This is clear to see when the fans, the people who would actually buy these things literally can't. These amiibo do not exist in shops. The ones no-one wants can occasionally be found like Peach, DK and Diddy but thats it really. Not acceptable.
Sorry for the rant but i couldn't get the amiibo i wanted from wave 4 (except Lucina), gonna try in stores later today.

I've been able to just pre-order the ones I want with no problems really. Got 9 so far, another 4 on the way so I guess I haven't really had the same problems a lot of people have had

Pre-ordered the Metallic blue xl with the limited edition game with the figure all for the same price as the xl and limited edition separately so pretty good deal personally

@andyg1971 I bought my link and samus figmas for around 50 pounds each, I'd imagine it would be the same. Really awesome quality posable figures mind

Already pre-purchased the MK dlc really looking forward to that, might buy stealth inc 2 this week as well

There is an online mode of sorts isn't there? Just not online coop I think. So if that's the case and that online mode is good then it doesn't really bother me

@PvtOttobot its a strange one to be honest, but I do see why its popular in America and some parts of europe. Purely because its the sort of game that kids play on tablets, phones and stuff. So naturally it appeals I guess? I enjoyed it which is odd because there is pretty much nothing too it

Well for me its Sony and Nintendo from here on out. Shame I never picked up a Sony console until the ps4, I know I would have got more out of a ps3 than my 360 last gen

@AdmiralThrawn you know there aren't two types of gamers right? These guys clearly aren't casual gamers as they show passion for video games through great content. So why wouldn't we listen to them? They have played the game, I have not. So I am going to listen to their thoughts

I love me Wii U, absolutely fantastic console that I prefer at this time to all my other consoles. Can't really understand the hate for it

@Ste there's a couple twilight princess characters so maybe there will be multiple skyward sword characters

I'm not gonna complain about when the next direct will be, I couldn't have asked for a better showing at E3 than the one we were given. So I'm pretty content until more info is needed on the remaining 2014 titles. Tbh I'm not made of money I can barely afford the games I want that they have already announced xp hopefully not too many more games thati want will be announced for 2015 xP

I love this game, favourite indie game on the U. Aside from several technical issues I have no problems with the game. Good review.

Definitely armillo for sure, I have guacamelee on PC so I'm don't gonna double dip yet I don't think. Overall a fantastic week

@NINTENCHIP absolutely. A new IP is only required when expanding into a new genre. What's the point in having three similar franchises, all the same genre, when they could all be varying entries in the same series. Things like that get a free pass just cos they have a new name in a slightly different coat of paint

@PvtOttobot that's stereotyping a little bit man, off the top of my head Full metal Alchemist does not follow that. There are a load others too
