The fact that Switch 2 has Switch backwards compatibility and NSO retro games also means that even if you can't afford a lot of new games on day one, you still have plenty to play (which is more than you can say for most console launches)
Yeah the launch line-up is superb, the best ever without a doubt.
However the price is probably going to be a serious issue haltering what could have been the best launch in gaming history.
I think Nintendo should have sold the console at a lower price even if it meant that they won't make money on consoles sold.
Their main income is selling games and their focus should be getting the system into as many hands as possible. Heck they could even get the consoles out to people at a small loss and still make tons of money on games sold. And they have the resources to do this. (Didn't they do did this with the 3DS after pricing backlash?)
Who knows, perhaps we'll see history repeat itself, but probably not
I live in Sweden and yeah the price for preordering the system is outrageous here, however I live alone and was able to afford a preorder (Console + Mario Kart World) even though it was painful to see 7490SEK disappearing from my bank account just like that.
I just hope I don't have to wait too long to receive the system. It would sort of suck to see them available to pick up in stores before you get your preorder when paying so much for it. It happened to me before, So I really hope that won't be the case.
Imagine what they potentially could do if they revisited the Wind Waker HD remaster and added some Switch 2 features.
4k, 60Fps, HD rumble 2, HDR and perhaps even adding further tweaks to the graphics like volumetric lighting, improved shadow casting and perhaps some artistic implementation of water reflections (screen space).
Of course all these things would have to be well considered to fit the visual style of Wind Waker. But if they have the source code for Wind Waker HD then I would say that all of this is definitely doable, it's not a heavy to run game at all. (unless you emulate it)
And while they're at it, why not add in an Amiibo feature and some new bonus dungeon or side quest (a fishing side-quest taking you around the world looking for some special fish perhaps? admit it, it would fit the game perfectly)
When thinking back to Gamecube, N64, Wii, PS1, PS2, PS3 and PS4 I never had any stick-drift and non of them used hall-effect. (I'm sure it happened for some people, but it was probably quite rare)
Then I got Joy-con and now I have gone through 7 pairs due to stick-drift. I also had stick drift in a PS5 controller.
So it seems to me like something changed in the last decennium with how these sticks are made which makes them less durable. Hopefully they have addressed this issue.
It is definitely going to be able to do things that the steam deck can't because developers will spend way more time specifically targeting or optimizing for the Switch 2 hardware. And that's because the Switch 2 will have a MUCH larger user-base.
And even if the clocks are running at a lower frequency in handheld mode and the SteamDeck is more powerful in theory then, the Switch 2 has more modern features to accelerate certain tasks. Such as the tensor cores for DLSS and raytracing.

And if games can start taking advantage of hardware accelerated raytracing or upscaling then I think even in handheld mode the Switch 2 could have an advantage over the SteamDeck.
But no the Switch 2 is not a SteamDeck killer, because people who buy a Steamdeck do so to a large part for the openness of the system, you can run your Steam library plus emulators, PC applications and even install other operating systems such as Windows on it (if that's what you want) It exists in the hobbyist space and can comfortable do so no matter how successful the Switch 2 becomes.
What the SteamDeck should worry more about is all the other hobbyist PC handhelds with way more power being released left and right. And it seems their strategy is to partner with them, selling a license to ship new PC handhelds with SteamOS. So they are probably happy about their position on the market and strategy going forward.
Why are ex-Nintendo of America employees opinions being treated as newsworthy? Isn't Nintendo of America more or less just a glorified marketing, localization and PR team?
I also kinda cringe when I see head lines such as "Nintendo President" and then it's Doug Bowser, especially when he say "We have built this system", or "we make game and experiences"
He and his teams are not involved in any of that, they are just relaying what comes from Kyoto Japan.
Heck Nintendo European Research & Development (NERD) is doing more for us in terms of games and experiences.
As for DLC, I think it depends on the price and nature of the DLC.
If they do a full expansion and release it for like 20-30USD then I won't complain
I could kinda imagine them adding in the Daisy Cruiser ferry that you can race on while traveling to a new continent (or something like that)
@Zenszulu Who told you that FFXV is CPU bottlenecked?
The game is not a PS5 title, it runs through the PS4 compatibility on the PS5. I imagine the Xbox version is a similar story.
Whenever you run something through a backwards compatibility mode you are restricted to certain clock speeds and such.
This is to ensure that games don't break. Increasing clock frequencies and memory could in some cases break games in different ways such as physics for example.

It's not fair to judge how a PS4 game runs on a PS5 when it's not taking advantage of the PS5 hardware.

Because I can get 1080p 60fps out of the PS4 Pro in this game.
I don't know why so many people underestimate the Switch 2, Is it because you don't wanna get disappointed?
I promise you that the Switch 2 is powerful enough to run Final Fantasy 15 at 60fps and that it's not going to be CPU bottlenecked, there's barely any demanding physics in the game, or water simulations, or sophisticated AI npc's or dynamic weather simulations or anything else that would make the CPU sweat.
@Zenszulu hmm I dunno if I would say that it struggles at 4k30. I play through the game many times and I am quite happy with the performance at 4k30.
However if you are talking about smaller frame drops and some uneven frame-pasing. Yeah it's there and it's kind of standard for modern games, it kind-of has more to do with a flawed game engine than the performance of the system.
Like how Monster Hunter Wilds ran like ass on high-end PC's and ran almost better on game consoles
And if you followed my statements, you should know that I said that 16 might be a problem, but might not be impossible.
And I base that on the fact that it's more powerful than a system that plays the game (but plays it with some hiccups).
I say that if we are targeting 30fps and can accept some drops here and there then yes it could be coming to the Switch 2.
But probably not at native 4k. It would be more likely 720p upscaled to 1440p using DLSS or something along those lines
@rjejr yes I meant 16. It was a typo.
Given that the Steam Deck almost runs the game at 30fps and the Switch 2 is both more powerful and also has DLSS I wouldn't rule the possibility out completely
@Zenszulu None of those systems have DLSS though
Also, they have 60fps modes. (Which sucks I know, but they are there)
And given that the Switch 2 is more powerful than the steam deck and the steam deck seems to handle 16 around 25-30fps I would say that it's not impossible.
It was great but there were a few titles that felt a bit lackluster (like the Bravely Default remaster)
I really would have loved to see something bigger from Square. Sure, we'll get Final Fantasy VII remake. But I was really holding my breath for something we haven't seen before (Like the rumored Final Fantasy IX remake)
@Zenszulu I mean the hardware definitely isn't holding them back anymore. The only Final Fantasy game that I think would have a hard time on Switch 2 is 15. but even that could possible get on it if running at a lower frame rate and being upscaled with DLSS targeting 30 fps. Who knows..
@Sylamp indeed, it really surprised me that it even was a discussion. We know that Nintendo don't wan anyone to show any games before the presentation today.
We also know from the rumored (but extremely likely to be true) specs that the machine easily outperforms the Steam Deck, so even GameFreaks should be able to produce something better looking on the Switch 2.
@MarzoriuM who's to say that you won't get both options. you would have two options for Mario Sunshine, you already have two options on the switch for playing Mario 64. You have three ways to play Mario 3, NES, SNES and GBA. The list goes on.
this is certainly starting to sound too good to be true.
But if half of the rumors about the Switch 2 presentation come true then I don't think Nintendo has anything at all to worry about.
Just the fact that the Switch is backward compatible from day one is a big win, when the Switch 1 was released there wasn't that much to play.. The Switch 2 won't have that problem
Hmm, looking at the patent again it kinda doesn’t look like DLSS. Looks more like a post processing upscale using machine learning. DLSS doesn’t work on a simple 2D image alone, it uses many more inputs. To me it looks like this patent is describing something more similar to early FSR.
Perhaps it will be used with something like Switch 1, GameCube or Wii backwards compatibility while DLSS will be utilised for Switch 2 games
I have no idea how patents work but it seems strange that Nintendo would be able to patent something that is owned by and surely already patented by Nvidia? Perhaps it’s something about the way it’s implemented that is unique?
@PikminMarioKirby lol, they don't have to make Switch 1 look bad to make the Switch 2 look good Are you for real.
The Switch 2 is multiple times more powerful that the Switch and it have much more modern graphics hardware so it's definitely gonna be a big upgrade, they don't have deliberately make the Switch 1 look bad.
@Poco_Lypso That would be cool I guess, I did beat the main story of Monster Hunter Wilds and I like it more than Monster Hunter World but less than Monster Hunter Rise.
Monster Hunter Rise is still my favorite Monster Hunter game. So I am sure that even if Wilds isn't coming to Switch 2, there's a chance that Switch 2 will get a brand new Monster Hunter game that is even better if we're lucky.
I think a lot of people would have loved to see at least a sneak peek view or confirmation that they are working on the next mainline titles for the Switch 2.
But I get it, I don't think Nintendo allows any Switch 2 game announcements before the full and proper Switch 2 presentation. That's probably why we haven't really seen any game announcements for the Switch 2.
So yeah I wasn't really expecting to see anything Switch 2 related on this presentation.
Game shops used to be cool back in the 90s and early 2000s. They were cool because they usually bought and sold 2nd hand games and they had way more merch and other stuff like official game guides and obscure hardware.
Many game shops had this cool underground vibe, many had playable demos and some even had game board tables for people to plays card games like Pokemon.
But then some of them grew into larger corporations and the cosy inviting underground feel went away and they became more and more boring.
Now since we have internet and can order everything online they are a dying breed, doing their best to survive. (Some of stuff being questionable).
There's still some good ones though, (mainly smaller places that focus on retro games and merchandise, but I can't imagine it's much easier for them)
The original had it's charm with a darker feel to it. But man the much needed quality of life changes in the 3DS version makes it the clear winner, easy!
@Znake So playing SNES games with an OLED screen would for you be preferable to playing new modern games with an LCD screen? Because that's basically what you're saying
@Automated_Unit_4937 OLED can be plenty sharp as well.. The reason why the OLED in the Switch OLED looked less sharp was because it was a larger screen but retained the same low resolution as the other models.
Of course a small 720p screen will look sharper than a large 720p screen.
However had the Switch OLED had a 1080 OLED screen instead and been able to render the games as 1080p in handheld mode then the picture would have been sharper than the other Switch models.
With the Switch 2 they are increasing the screen size yet again, at least this time they are going from 720p to 1080p so it should feel really quite sharp no matter what screen technology is used, because it has a relatively high pixel density.
LCD has traditionally 4 advantages over OLED (spoiler all three of these can be overcome)
1) OLED can burn in, LCD don't (Well OLED has come a long way and it now take such a long time for OLED screens to burn in that it's practically not an issue for most people)
2) OLED “mura effect”, if you have seen "blotches" where the brightness look different on an old OLED screen like an old Vita screen then it's most likely the OLED “mura effect”, I am not gonna try to explain what causes it, but newer OLED panels does not have these issues as far as I am aware.
3) OLED has lower brightness, Well it used to be that OLED screens wasn't able to get very bright but that has definitely started to change. All OLED manufactures have been racing to develop brighter OLED panels.
One example of a super bright OLED screen is the iPad Pro OLED where they basically have 2 OLED panes stacked on top of each other to increase the brightness. Still there's LCD screens that can get brighter.
However, I consider it a non-issue these days unless you are planning to play a lot outdoors under direct sunlight.
4) Response-time, It used to be that OLED panels wasn't really suitable for gaming as they had higher latency and lower update frequency than LCD panels. But these days you can get OLED panels that have 1ms response times and +120GHz which anti ghosting features, so that's certainly enough for most people to game on.
All in all, most OLED issues has been ironed out now
I think Nintendo would have denied the legitamacy if it weren't the real design. Instead they just said that the reveal isn't official. (Which I interpret as "They showed off the design without our blessing")
So most likely the design being shown is the actual real design.
However, if these leaks and 3D prints are all based on the leaked CAD files from back in September then who knows..
@Jeronan MicroLED is a new technology that is still super expensive. it's the technology where each pixel is a LED rather than LED's being used as the backlit light-source.
What you are talking about is probably just MiniLED and regular LED LCD TV's where the diodes were used for back lighting and for local dimming zones.
MicroLED is like OLED in the sense that there is no back light, each pixel is lit individually creating perfect blacks just like OLED, with the potential for higher brightness than OLED and less burn-in issues than OLED.
I am not sure how performant MicroLED is in terms of color vibrancy/saturation, but I believe it should be pretty good if not just as good as OLED.
All in all, MicroLED is likely going to be more desirable than OLED once the prices go down. For now, no one can afford MicroLED TV's.
Anyway, while it is true that OLED prices have gone down.
But you can still get regular LED LCD panels for less money.
Also it's not really accurate to compare TV prices to a bare panel component, because TV's are more than just the panel, it's all the software, the build/assembly, the I/O, the processors inside that decodes video and to all the video processing as well as all the other "stuff". Some brands can push down the prices because they add ads in their OS or do partnership with sponsors which means that TV comes preinstalled with bloat. All in order to reduce the price.
This is not the case when a company buy just the panels for a product
My understanding is that OLED panels are still more expensive in general than regular IPS LCD panels.
As someone who actually play my Switch on the train to kill time on my daily commute, yeah it's a bit too large. But I will get used to it.
However if they ever make a smaller model I'd definitely get it. In my opinion larger does not = better for a hybrid console with HDMI out to a huge TV. I appreciate the portable form factor being actually portable.
@mariomaster96 The Switch 2 is going to be backwards compatible with Switch games and I expect we'll see "Next gen patches" that increase frame rate and/or resolution on the Switch 2 (similar to what Playstation is doing).
That to me means that if Legends: Z-A is released for the Switch, then it will automatically be playable on the Switch 2 and likely enhanced for the Switch 2 (Which would qualify as cross platform I suppose)
Any new Pokémon game after Pokémon Legends: Z-A is most likely going to be a Switch 2 exclusive. (Meaning it won't run on the original Switch)
Why? Well did you play Pokémon Scarlet and Violet? They still run like garbage on the Switch. By supporting the Switch in future mainline games they would severely limit themselves what kind of games they can make.
Yes is terms of hardware it's "just a more powerful Switch", but think back, how old is the Switch now? The Tegra X1 is 10 years old. So the Switch 2 is going to be a lot more powerful.
It's not going to be the phone situation where for example iPhone 5,6 and 7 all run the same software but at a slightly different performance.
I am a 100% sure that most Switch 2 titles from the first party studios will be Switch 2 Exclusive, (except the Switch titles that may get next-gen patched for the Switch 2)
@Jeronan MicroLED TV for the same price as OLED? lol Dude you have no idea what you are talking about..
Even if OLED panels have become a lot more affordable they are generally more expensive than the regular LCD panels. And let's face it, if the Switch 2 had a micro LED panel that would be dope. Actually I'd prefer that over OLED. but it won't because MicroLED is too expensive.
@Debo626 I understand your opinion but I disagree. Nintendo is probably going to launch the base model first with a pretty nice LCD display to get the cost down so that more people can afford it.
It's actually how they have been so successful with their handhelds so far. (reusing older technology to keep cost down) It's a very Nintendo thing to do.
It is likely that they will release a more premium/upgraded model a few years in. This revised/upgraded version may bring back the OLED panel, or not. we'll see
It would be pretty cool but kinda not Nintendo's style to give us options (other than color)
They didn't even provide any official Joy-con with a D-pad option.
Seems like low hanging fruit.
I really thought this would happen at some point since they basically invented the D-pad. but we had to turn to third party controllers or mods for that.
I say that unless you're a super diehard fan of Wario Land or Mario Tennis then you can skip this console.
Not many great games were released for it and if I really wanted to play it again I would probably just try to get hold of the games so that I can dump the roms and play them on the 3DS Virtual Boy emulator rather than on the actual headset.
But I'm not that interested in buying virtual boy games so that probably won't happen..
@NintenGuy Believe it or not I have seen people think that the Switch 2 is going to be like what the PS5 pro is to the PS5, that it will just be a more powerful Switch but play the same games.
I don't assume that people have any idea about how things work anymore
@NintenGuy You won't buy it because the excellent design is still excellent? Well you do you I suppose..
Remember that you won't be able to play Switch 2 games on the Switch 1 (unless the game developer specifically decides to back port the game to the Switch 1 as well)
@PinderSchloss That depends on what you compare it with. I expect something close to PS4 level of performance with some level of Raytracing capability which would be far beyond what the Switch has.
@Bolt_Strike Here are some of the reasons behind Nintendo's success and why these handheld gaming PC's will never do better than Nintendo: Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Metroid, Pokemon, Smash, Mario Kart, Animal Crossing and Splatoon (to name a few)
Spoiler: Nintendo never needed the coolest, most performing or most innovative hardware to succeed.
Their hardware is honestly nothing more than a delivery device for the games.
As long as Nintendo market their new hardware well and don't make and weird decisions about naming the system something stupid (like they did with the Wii U) I think any hardware they make will sell as long as they have the games. (even if it's not innovative or outperforming the competition)
@Siegdroid Well I think we had enough of it on the Switch. The Switch 2 on the other hand is a platform where they could likely get the engine running decently.
Sony and PlayStation can coexist. A Sony handheld might shift sales from Nintendo slightly, but not enough for the Switch 2 to fail.
Nintendo staples like Mario, Mario Kart, Zelda, and Pokemon are the main reason people buy Nintendo hardware.
Even if Sony releases a more powerful handheld, it’s unlikely to make a significant difference. People who prioritize these features already have the Steam Deck.
As for me, I’ll likely buy both systems eventually.
Considering these factors, I don’t see it as a potential rivalry where one system wins over the other.
Nintendo has learned from the Wii U not to fail in marketing its new system.
It would be exciting to see a new PlayStation handheld or hybrid.
@Rothycat Dude, chill... I do know some things about Pokemon go, I have tried it a long time ago and I do read the news articles.
So it's not like I am completely oblivious.
However there are certain things I don't know, which I admit.
But I do know that you can just disable your camera and still play the game.
What I don't know is if they mention in game that they are collecting photographic data from their users for these purposes.
Do you know? Have you read the "term of use" and other documentation?
What I am knowledgeable about however is AI and programming, since train my own "AI" models and and make my own software.

Sure, we'll get Final Fantasy VII remake. But I was really holding my breath for something we haven't seen before (Like the rumored Final Fantasy IX remake)
Hopefully that'll be announced soon as well.
Re: Nintendo Switch 2 Launches 5th June 2025, Mario Kart World Bundle Confirmed
Was it just me who got confused seeing April 17th in the trailer. Like was that a mistake or did I miss something?
Re: Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade Is Making The Leap To Switch 2
@Zenszulu I mean the hardware definitely isn't holding them back anymore. The only Final Fantasy game that I think would have a hard time on Switch 2 is 15. but even that could possible get on it if running at a lower frame rate and being upscaled with DLSS targeting 30 fps. Who knows..
Re: Video: Metroid Prime 4 Looks Great, But Here's Why The Latest Trailer Isn't Switch 2 Footage
Re: Rumour: GameCube Revival Planned For Nintendo Switch Online
@MarzoriuM who's to say that you won't get both options.
you would have two options for Mario Sunshine, you already have two options on the switch for playing Mario 64.
You have three ways to play Mario 3, NES, SNES and GBA.
The list goes on.
Re: Rumour: GameCube Revival Planned For Nintendo Switch Online
this is certainly starting to sound too good to be true.
Re: AI Upscaling On Nintendo Switch 2 Is Basically Real Thanks To Updated Patent
Re: AI Upscaling On Nintendo Switch 2 Is Basically Real Thanks To Updated Patent
I have no idea how patents work but it seems strange that Nintendo would be able to patent something that is owned by and surely already patented by Nvidia? Perhaps it’s something about the way it’s implemented that is unique?
Re: Was That Pokémon Legends: Z-A Footage Running On Switch 2? Digital Foundry Weighs In
@PikminMarioKirby lol, they don't have to make Switch 1 look bad to make the Switch 2 look good Are you for real.
The Switch 2 is multiple times more powerful that the Switch and it have much more modern graphics hardware so it's definitely gonna be a big upgrade, they don't have deliberately make the Switch 1 look bad.
Re: UK Charts: Mario Kart 8 Grabs Silver As Monster Hunter Wilds Makes Its Debut
Re: How Would You Rate The Pokémon Presents Showcase For February 2025?
I think a lot of people would have loved to see at least a sneak peek view or confirmation that they are working on the next mainline titles for the Switch 2.
But I get it, I don't think Nintendo allows any Switch 2 game announcements before the full and proper Switch 2 presentation.
That's probably why we haven't really seen any game announcements for the Switch 2.
So yeah I wasn't really expecting to see anything Switch 2 related on this presentation.
Re: Retailer GAME Removes Insane Delivery Fees On Pokémon Cards After "Scalping" Allegations
There's still some good ones though, (mainly smaller places that focus on retro games and merchandise, but I can't imagine it's much easier for them)
Re: Poll: 10 Years On, Which Version Of Zelda: Majora's Mask Is Best?
The original had it's charm with a darker feel to it.
But man the much needed quality of life changes in the 3DS version makes it the clear winner, easy!
Re: Talking Point: Why An LCD Screen Isn't The End Of The World For Switch 2
@Znake So playing SNES games with an OLED screen would for you be preferable to playing new modern games with an LCD screen? Because that's basically what you're saying
Re: Talking Point: Why An LCD Screen Isn't The End Of The World For Switch 2
@Manah Downgrade to an original Switch you mean?
Because the Switch 2 is not a downgrade just because it has an LCD panel instead of OLED.
Re: Talking Point: Why An LCD Screen Isn't The End Of The World For Switch 2
All in all, most OLED issues has been ironed out now
Re: Rumour: Switch Virtual Console Was Apparently Nintendo's "Original Plan"
They could at least give us the option to buy out some of the games we want to keep.. How hard could that be?
Re: Nintendo Breaks Silence On 'Switch 2' Image And Video Leaks
I think Nintendo would have denied the legitamacy if it weren't the real design. Instead they just said that the reveal isn't official. (Which I interpret as "They showed off the design without our blessing")
So most likely the design being shown is the actual real design.
However, if these leaks and 3D prints are all based on the leaked CAD files from back in September then who knows..
Re: Rumour: New 'Switch 2' Photos Show Off A Very Legit-Looking Joy-Con
Re: Talking Point: Is The Switch 2 Going To Be Too Big?
As someone who actually play my Switch on the train to kill time on my daily commute, yeah it's a bit too large.
But I will get used to it.
However if they ever make a smaller model I'd definitely get it.
In my opinion larger does not = better for a hybrid console with HDMI out to a huge TV. I appreciate the portable form factor being actually portable.
Re: Yes, We're Getting Closer To Pokémon Day
@mariomaster96 The Switch 2 is going to be backwards compatible with Switch games and I expect we'll see "Next gen patches" that increase frame rate and/or resolution on the Switch 2 (similar to what Playstation is doing).
Re: Rumour: New 'Switch 2' Photos Show Off A Very Legit-Looking Joy-Con
@Jeronan MicroLED TV for the same price as OLED? lol Dude you have no idea what you are talking about..
Even if OLED panels have become a lot more affordable they are generally more expensive than the regular LCD panels. And let's face it, if the Switch 2 had a micro LED panel that would be dope. Actually I'd prefer that over OLED. but it won't because MicroLED is too expensive.
Re: Rumour: New 'Switch 2' Photos Show Off A Very Legit-Looking Joy-Con
@Debo626 I understand your opinion but I disagree.
Nintendo is probably going to launch the base model first with a pretty nice LCD display to get the cost down so that more people can afford it.
It's actually how they have been so successful with their handhelds so far. (reusing older technology to keep cost down) It's a very Nintendo thing to do.
It is likely that they will release a more premium/upgraded model a few years in. This revised/upgraded version may bring back the OLED panel, or not. we'll see
Re: Nintendo Should Copy This Feature For Switch 2, But It Probably Won't
It would be pretty cool but kinda not Nintendo's style to give us options (other than color)
They didn't even provide any official Joy-con with a D-pad option.
Seems like low hanging fruit.
I really thought this would happen at some point since they basically invented the D-pad. but we had to turn to third party controllers or mods for that.
Re: Best Of 2024: As A Nintendo Fan, Do You Really Need To Play The Virtual Boy?
I say that unless you're a super diehard fan of Wario Land or Mario Tennis then you can skip this console.
Not many great games were released for it and if I really wanted to play it again I would probably just try to get hold of the games so that I can dump the roms and play them on the 3DS Virtual Boy emulator rather than on the actual headset.
But I'm not that interested in buying virtual boy games so that probably won't happen..
Re: Those Switch 2 Leaks "Might Be Legit" According To A New Report
@NintenGuy Sure, it was not my intention to offend you
Re: Those Switch 2 Leaks "Might Be Legit" According To A New Report
@NintenGuy Believe it or not I have seen people think that the Switch 2 is going to be like what the PS5 pro is to the PS5, that it will just be a more powerful Switch but play the same games.
I don't assume that people have any idea about how things work anymore
Re: Those Switch 2 Leaks "Might Be Legit" According To A New Report
@NintenGuy You won't buy it because the excellent design is still excellent? Well you do you I suppose..
Remember that you won't be able to play Switch 2 games on the Switch 1 (unless the game developer specifically decides to back port the game to the Switch 1 as well)
Re: Those Switch 2 Leaks "Might Be Legit" According To A New Report
= "The rumors say that the rumors are true"
Re: Talking Point: Is It Time For HD-2D To Take A Break?
@PinderSchloss That depends on what you compare it with.
I expect something close to PS4 level of performance with some level of Raytracing capability which would be far beyond what the Switch has.
Re: Surprise Leak Reveals Lenovo Is Releasing Another Switch-Like Gaming Handheld
As long as Nintendo market their new hardware well and don't make and weird decisions about naming the system something stupid (like they did with the Wii U)
I think any hardware they make will sell as long as they have the games. (even if it's not innovative or outperforming the competition)
Re: Talking Point: Is It Time For HD-2D To Take A Break?
@Siegdroid Well I think we had enough of it on the Switch.
The Switch 2 on the other hand is a platform where they could likely get the engine running decently.
Re: Sony May Be Plotting A New PSP To Compete With Nintendo's 'Switch 2'
Re: It Turns Out Pokémon GO Players Have Been Training An AI This Whole Time
@Rothycat Dude, chill...
So I feel qualified to post
Have a nice day
