Never understood the constant hate LRG get. $30 for a physical game that you can't get otherwise, unless it's on original hardware for hundreds of dollars. Pretty good deal. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have physical copies of a ton of different games.

That's cool and all, but the originals still hold up. What we need is for fallout 1 and 2 to both get remakes. This games are so different play wise, and most people have never experienced them or their lore. Frankly, they're quite the slog to get through these days.

Got it when it came out. I had gotten the REmake for gamecube when it came out as well. Both games are amazing. Deadly silence is the best way to play the OG game.

There it is. The problem. They need to quit putting potential newcomers before longtime fans and the franchise as a whole. Same issue with pikmin. They dumb the games down to make them more approachable, and it sucks.

Yeah and ignorance is bliss. Naive people tend not to worry or be afraid of things that are absolutely an issue. You're dismissing the fears of plenty of intelligent, tech savvy people in the industry that have been sounding the alarm.

0 definitely had is issues (did you remember the hookshot?) But it's always been one of my favorites. Hard to beat the atmosphere of a runaway train full of Zombies, and the classic mansion esthetic. I don't really think it needs a remake, but I would definitely buy it if they made one.

I have my original NES my neighbor gave me back in 96 that I still play on, as well as a retron 5 as a backup. I started actually collecting nes games a few years ago, and it's just so much more rewarding playing these games on original hardware.

@Res462 100% agree. It's crazy how much dialogue there is in some of these games. What happened to subtlety? They explain everything now. Plenty of filler too.

As a metroid fan, I never realized what a bunch of whiny, spoiled brats metroid fans are. Did I miss the part in the trailer where they shot her dog or something? Lol

The game looks amazing. It looks like metroid prime, but with a bike and ONE area that's big and open. Hasn't even come out yet and people are complaining about it.

I will not buy digital, I will not buy a code in a box, and I will not buy a hunk of plastic that doesn't actually have the game on it....which is exactly what the game "key card" bs are.
It's just that simple. Put the games on the carts. Hope the companies that don't, fail.

@Joe11 the problem with that is they don't really limit production aside from within a certain window, and literally anyone can buy their stuff. It's not like they only make 1000 of a game. They'll make as much as there is demand for over a 3-6 month pre-order period. For pretty cheap too. Most of those games don't even go up in resale value.

I'd say we've reached the point in the internet timeline where people will freak out about anything without confirmation, and just spread whatever misinformation they want. I doubt this is true, but if it is, I also doubt most people would care. It's crazy to me though the amount of people I'm hearing (both on and offline) claiming things that are just wrong. If this launch does go badly, the spread of propaganda and misinformation by the online community will be more to blame than a single $80 game....

I've never played any of them honestly. I love rpgs and jrps, but these never really stood out to me. Given how highly they're ranked, that might have to change

Glad it's finally happening and people will get to experience these game.

Of course, it doesn't benefit me at all cause I still have all my gamecube games and multiple gamecubes 😝

Awesome! I can get the switch 1 version, and then just pay for the upgrade whenever I actually get a switch 2. That's way better than separate releases

I've never actually played any of the Dragon quest games. This looks visually stunning though. I've never been a fan of turn based games (other than Pokemon) but I might have to get into these.
