Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy - Found this one on PS Plus and decided to give it a try since I never played it on the PS2. 6 hours in and it’s been very fun platformer. Not sure how I skipped this one back in the early 00s. Looks like the rest of the series will be joining my backlog.
Mario & Luigi: Brothership - Made it to the Great Lighthouse Island in the Brrrrning Sea.
Sonic Colors Ultimate - Going for 100%. Just have Aquarium Park and Asteroid Coaster left.
Oblivion Remastered - Recently started this game. Exploring the open world a little and Arena battles to level up and get some gold. Never played an Elder Scrolls game before and so far it’s pretty enjoyable.
Somewhat surprised RDR2 hasn’t been announced for Switch 2 yet. In addition to New Vegas, Fallout 3 & 4 ports to the console would probably sell well. Baldur’s Gate 3 on the go would be amazing to have.
Baldur’s Gate 3 (PS5) - Started playing this again 2 weeks ago after a 6 month hiatus. Act 3 was overwhelming then went on a vacation. Dove back in and quickly remembered how addicting this game can be. Thinking of starting a Dark Urge playthrough after this run. It’s off to finally face the Elder Brain this weekend.
Baldur’s Gate 3 - Played this for close to 100 hours last year but started tapering off as Act 3 just seemed very overwhelming compared to the first 2. Picked it up again this week to finally start finishing the game. Just made it to the Iron Throne. Thankfully the game’s mechanics came back to me quickly after not playing regularly for almost 6 months.
Mario & Luigi: Brothership - Made it to the second sea in the game. Should be able to get through most of it and some side quests this weekend.
Bioshock: Infinite - Finished the game on 1999 Mode and the Clash in the Clouds DLC earlier this week. Planning to complete both Burial at Sea DLCs this weekend.
Mario & Luigi: Brothership - Started playing last month, but only for a few hours. Picked it up again this week. 5 hours in and now onto the 5th island. Really enjoying the battle system in this one.
No, however I have been playing PS5 more this year instead of Switch. Especially after getting a Portal so I don’t light the house up at night from the TV and wake everyone up when playing. Still playing Switch but not as often. Got a few games in my backlog to get through on it. Will probably grab a few more if those games are on sale. As for the Switch 2, will probably get it sometime next year. No rush right now for me personally to purchase one.
Bioshock: Infinite (PS5) - About 2/3 done on my second playthrough in 1999 Mode. Enjoying the game even more with the higher difficulty. Can’t go into every battle guns blazing like on normal. Been a blast having to strategically plan each battle and scrounge for any items/money to help.
Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection (Switch) - Pretty sure I’ll never get tired of Marvel vs. Capcom 2.
Bioshock: Infinite - 3/4 done with the main game and should have it finished this weekend.
Fallout 4 - Have been playing this off and on for the last 2 months. Starting to play more and more each time I fire it up recently though. Will start a side quest and next thing I know I’ve been running around the Wasteland for 2 hours seeing what else I might run into.
Mario & Luigi: Brothership - Made it to the 5th island. Having fun exploring around and going back to previous islands with the new abilities.
Bioshock: Infinite (PS5) - Finally getting around to this one after it’s been in my backlog for about 2 years. Played the first two games so glad to finally get to the third game. Only a couple hours in but really enjoying it so far.
Coffee Talk (PS5) - Had a few friends recommend this one and saw it was on PS Plus. A pretty straightforward and relaxing game to play when ending the day.
Mario & Luigi: Brothership (Switch) - Always been a big fan of this series so feels right at home playing this one. Made it to the 3rd island so still getting the basics of the game. So far a very fun experience.
Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection (Switch) - Enjoying some Marvel vs. Capcom 1 & 2 matches here and there.
Spider-Man 2 (PS5) - 10 hours in and really liking this game. It’s nice to play an open world game that isn’t super overwhelming. Will be doing some side quests and collectibles and back to the main missions when done with those.
Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection (Switch) - Playing Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and quickly remembering why this is my favorite fighting game of all time.
Spider-Man 2 (PS5) - Bought this months ago and finally getting around to it. Really enjoyed the first one so looking forward to starting it.
Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection (Switch) - Don’t really remember playing Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter when it was in the arcades. Started playing it a couple days ago & what a fun game.
Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection (Switch) - Enjoying some X-Men vs. Street Fighter with some Marvel vs. Capcom 2 here and there.
Visions of Mana (PS5) - Getting close to the end of Chapter 7. Also knocking out plenty of side quests and collectibles.
Fallout 4 (PS5) - Have been playing off and on for the past few weeks. Will probably explore around Diamond City area and familiarize myself with the Workshop system more.
10/10 from me. It’s my favorite system to play platformers and JRPG’s on. First Nintendo console I had since the GameCube and I’ve absolutely loved it. Been a great 5 years with the system and eagerly anticipating the Switch 2. Happy 8 years Switch!
One of the better JRPG’s that I’ve played in the last 10 years. Probably put about 130 hours into this game. Great story and gameplay. Highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys JRPGs.
Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection (Switch) - Will be playing plenty of X-Men and Marvel Super Heroes this weekend. Didn’t play them much back in the 90s so nice to have them now. Pretty fun fighting games.
Visions of Mana (PS5) - Just started Chapter 5. Really enjoying the Elemental class system. Clearing up side quests and backtracking to previous areas now that the game world is more opened up.
Sonic X Shadow Generations (Switch) - Finishing up the main story stages and challenges for Shadow Generations. Starting on the collectibles after that.
Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection (Switch) - What a blast of nostalgia playing this one. Immediately brought back great memories of playing Marvel vs. Capcom 2 on the Dreamcast. Also playing The Punisher and it’s been a pretty fun beat em up game through the first few stages.
Visions of Mana (PS5) - About 2 hours in so far & enjoying the game. Was a big fan of Trials and Secret so feeling right at home with this one.
Just started Detroit: Become Human and Fallout 4 on the PS5. Finishing gathering all the collectibles in the Sonic part of Sonic X Shadow Generations on the Switch.
Sonic Origins Plus (Switch) - Playing some the Game Gear games that I never played before.
Baldur’s Gate 3 (PS5) - About halfway through Act 3. Haven’t been playing as often as I had for most of the first 2 Acts. There’s a lot in Act 3 and can be a bit overwhelming. Getting back into a good flow with it though.
Final Fantasy Type 0 HD (PS4) - Found this one recently on PS Plus. About 10 hours in and really starting to enjoy it.
The Witcher 3 - Trying my hand at Gwent finally after 40 hours into the game.
What Remains of Edith Finch - Another gem recently discovered on PS Plus. Will probably be done with it this weekend, but a very intriguing and enjoyable short game so far.
Unpacking - Discovered this one recently on PS Plus. Will probably finish it this weekend. A very enjoyable and relaxing surprise to play. Probably because I’m such a neat freak around the house so perfect game for me.
The Witcher 3 - After exploring around Velen and Novigrad for 40 hours I guess I should finally get back to the main quests.
Baldur’s Gate 3 - Getting through the Gauntlet of Shar
I’m ready for the Switch’s successor. Not too much in my backlog since I spent most of last year clearing it out. Looking forward to Brothership, Echoes of Wisdom, Marvel vs. Capcom Collection, and Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D for it later this year for its strong finish. Hopefully the next system is backwards compatible so I can play those games on it if needed. Also really hoping it has an SSD built in. Been spoiled with it from the PS5. Currently playing Witcher 3 on the Switch and I wish it could load as quickly as an open world game like Forbidden West. Optimistic that whatever Nintendo has planned next will provide many years of fun (with hopefully minimal load times).
Baldur’s Gate 3 - May take the training wheels (Explorer Mode) off this weekend as I feel like I finally have a good understanding of the game. About 2/3 done with Act 1.
Astro’s Playroom - 3 years later and finally getting around to this one. So far been a fun game and trip down PlayStation memory lane.
The Witcher 3 - Going from one open world game (ToTK) to another on the Switch. Only a few hours in, but pretty nice being able to relax and play this in handheld mode. Looking forward to what the next 100+ hours have to offer.
Tears of the Kingdom - Nearly 140 hours later the journey is almost over. A handful of side quests left then it’s off to finish the final main quest.
Cat Quest 2 - A few hours into this one and enjoying it just as much as the first one.
Baldur’s Gate 3 - Halfway through Act 1. Still really just enjoying exploring around and seeing how much this game has to offer. Much better understanding of the game’s mechanics now. Pretty fun trying out different companions and spells/cantrip setups.
Tears of the Kingdom - Side Quest clean up & spending time in the Depths for Lightroots and Zonaite.
Baldur’s Gate 3 - 12 hours in and the game’s mechanics are finally making sense. YouTube videos helped too. Will be playing around with my party set up and different members while continuing along the story & exploring now that I get it better.
10/10 just from Metroid Prime 4 finally being revealed. Didn’t expect that at all. On top of that other highlights for me were the Marvel vs. Capcom Collection, Mario & Luigi Brothership, Romancing Saga 2, Zelda Echoes of Wisdom, and Perfect Dark being added to NSO. Safe to say that the Switch will be ending its lifecycle with a bang.
