I've started Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus, which I'm enjoying a lot. It's beautiful, funny, all comes together graciously and the platforming is pretty good and challenging!

After a daily session on ACNH, Astrobot, finally!! And on Xbox 360, Daytona USA and Virtua fighter 2. Also, I might just purchase Moss as He-man dragons pearl is delayed again!?

Cancelled my pre-order of Elden Rings after reading the review and the comments on here. Looks great, but my initial fears of it being a massive world populated only with bosses and other monsters, and exploration finding only more and more empty ruins, have not been alleviated.

Will save my money for Dragon's Dogma 2 in October, as long as the performance holds up.

Was going to get Metal Gear Solid 4, but the 1:1 ratio on gameplay/cut-scenes put me right off, especially considering the 71 minute cut scene that apparently ends the game.

So, it's back to Star Wars Outlaws for me. I'm on Tatooine seeking out 'The Heavy'. Found him, but hoping to meet Jabba soon. I think this game spent all its budget on the Toshara map. Still enjoyable blasting stormtroopers though.

As I'm unexpectedly bereft of new games this weekend, I'll also be checking out the Snoop Dogg mission in Hitman WoA.

Elsewhere, keeping an eye out for the reviews of Onimusha: Way of the Sword this week, as I hope to be playing it next weekend.

Likely just Age of Imprisonment for me this weekend, currently on Chapter 4.

Maybeeee I might consider grabbing Elden Ring once I've wrapped up in ancient Hyrule (or probably grab it before I finish, we shall see).

It being Emio's second anniversary reminded me that I hadn't played The Girl Who Stands Behind yet, so I just started playing that. I finally started playing Baba Is You despite buying it in July last year. I tried racing online in Mario Kart World for the first time, but haven't been doing too well. I've mostly been getting low results and the times that I did win were just because I got lucky with items. I've even come 24th a couple of times. I guess I need more practice. I was able to win fairly consistently in 8 and 8 Deluxe…

Finished Klonoa 2 during the week, a very unique platforming game with a moving story, I can only recommend. Very Japanese.
So now I’m devoting the weekend to Unicorn Overlord, simply cannot stop liberating the country.

I might play Big Walk with different platforms, Star Wars Zero Company on Steam and Splatoon Raiders.

The total hours I’ve listed in parentheses come from the Nintendo eShop app (which aggregates "playtime" / "number of days played" - across all my Nintendo Switch consoles).

Here’s what I played this week and will continue playing over the weekend:

• Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville (15 hours / 23 days played): It had been a long time since I played this game. I decided to show it to my daughter one day, and it really clicked with me again; now I can't stop playing. The amount of content is immense. I’d even say the game's performance on the Switch has improved significantly. I used to get motion sickness and felt the frame rate was too low, but now I don't notice it at all, and the gameplay feels wonderful. I’m currently playing offline 8v8 deathmatches against bots, using these amazing battles to level up my plants and unlock more abilities for the campaign mode, as I’m stuck on the "Hunt" missions. The game also features a dedicated campaign mode for the zombie characters. There is so much content—including many game modes I’ve never even tried.
• Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (65 hours / 72 days played): Another game I hadn't played in a long time. I bought all the DLC from the Nintendo eShop a few months ago but had completely forgotten about it. I’m currently playing as Terry Bogard and collecting Spirits. I think I have around 300 Spirits so far; it’s going to be a long, long journey. This game also has a massive amount of content.
• Persona 5 Royal (45 hours / 58 days played): I’m currently in the second Palace. I’m savoring this masterpiece very slowly. The amount of content here is immense—it’s almost absurd. I’ve spent about 10 hours just playing the card game with my teammates (the Phantom Thieves) in the subconscious underworld. Even this small mini-game within such a vast universe is so satisfying that it could be sold as a standalone title; I’m totally hooked.

I’m also playing a bit of World of Solitaire (75 hours / 93 days played), Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (380 hours / 306 days played) and Picross S+ (20 hours / 35 days played).

I beat pokemon White 2 and Celeste. Both are really good games.

Celeste has a really emotional story that lands well for me. Plus the platforming was pretty fun and difficult. Big recommend from me.

White 2 is also really good but Black is the better gen 5 games, especially with it's ending, Black is just more epic and intense. The gen 5 dex is the best (with gen 7 as a close runner up). Even during White 2 i only used gen 5 pokemon even though other pokemon are available during the story.

After Celeste i started Rabi-Ribi, a metroidvania/bullethell with lots of ecchi. Plus a somewhat silly story.
I also randomly found Kirby Airiders at a 30 euro discount. So i started that as well.

But most importantly.... I FINALLY HAVE ALL THE ARTWORK IN ACNH!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! NO LONGER WILL I SUFFER UNDER RED'S TYRANNY!!!!

Anyways im still in vacation till early half of September (10th) so, my home console gaming still paused but handheld gaming continues

-Super Mario Odyssey (Switch 2): FINALLY, i decided to buy it for my birthday this year (August 20) almost 10 years later, for some reason i held off buying it and most of Switch 1 exclusives (except Pokemon) despite i had Switch 1 lite so i am catching up, i am already at the Moon level with Bowser and i wish New Donk City was real. (As the real New York is terrible, i say this as someone who experienced it)

Gundam Breaker 4 (Switch 2): This was a birthday gift from my American girlfriend as we both love Gundam (obviously she loves Wing and i love Seed), currently chapter 3 and my Gunplas is a mix of my favorite gundams (Strike Freedom, Mighty Strike Freedom, Barbatos, God Gundam and SD's Knight gundam) and also bring me nostalgia when i played the first 3 gundam breakers on Vita back in middle and highschool

El Shaddai (Switch 2): When i saw the game finally got a remaster on Switch and when i saw on eshop it triggered middle school nostalgia between the memes (Is this armor enough? Daijoubu, Mondainai) and the actual game itself and now that i have Israeli-American friends in the US, this game hits harder as the game is based on Jewish culture and Book of Enoch

Pokemon Sun (3DS): finally finished Mallow's gym/trial and now on into the next one

Fire Emblem Awakening (3DS): i am chapter 13 and finally decided that Lucina is my mate for rest of the game for Male Robin

Majora's Mask (3DS), i did the initial 3 day cicle and returned to normal Link, did some side quest like the first night north clocktown thief, the dancing sisters masks in west clocktown and got my 4th heart already and now i think im ready for Deku Swamp

Still enjoying Gran Turismo 7 and Patrician II. The Lake Maggiore one hour race, might be my hardest challenge yet.

I had been playing Sinking City 2 on PS5, but I redownloaded the remaster of the first game and which I originally played on PS4 at launch and so much is lost in the sequel. The combat is streamlined, but the open world with all the strange characters and quests, the freedom and dectective elements, all mostly gone for a linear 3rd person modern survival horror. I think the new game is very well made, but I've found myself wanting to replay the original with the remastered graphics, more than the sequel.

Retro-wise, I bought a copy of Asterix on the SEGA Master System and what a great little platform game it is, I remember the good reviews at the time so glad to get to it at last. Also will finishing escaping on Ocean's The Great Escape on the Spectrum and maybe I restarted Wonderful Dizzy, which is a great modern Specturm game.

just played Elden Ring for the first time ever for like 5 hours straight while my family was asleep 😳. Ummm… where did the time go? Pretty crazy game

eiyuden chronicle rising- this was a impulse buy one day. it was cheap and I love RPGs. been having a lot fun with this game so far.

@Jeffman26 Honestly, it was kinda my only criticism of Elden Ring : the only way you interact with this beautiful world is through combat. There is little NPC interactions, dialogues, side activities to flesh out the world, make it feel alive. It's still great to explore, but ultimately, it only leads to combat, combat and more combat.

A comparison I could make, while not the best, is with Mario Kart World. The open world is great and all, but ultimately, the only way you interact with it is through driving. It's kind of the same feeling here, at least to me, you just wish there were more ways to interact with the world.

@JohnnyMind idk if you are into Japanese comedies (i enjoy them personally) but i highly recommend watching full episodes of Arino's show, highly entertaining, i have a bunch of DVDs sets from early Gamecenter CX seasons (1-3), its fun. Apparently bro is starting to play PS3, Wii and 360 games in the current season as he says its old enough (god, even thought im 26 years old, im old considering that gen still feels very recent)
Also i didnt knew the first DS game released in US!
