I'd love to play the "pass the paper" game and the dinosaur game. Makes me wish Nintendo would make some DLC for Nintendoland. The other two looked "meh", but cool that they were made by students nonetheless.

I've posted maybe 150 times to miiverse and just had one post deleted due to "Spoilers" (it was a picture of the ending credits of a game). Otherwise NOTHING has happened. I haven't trolled at all, however, so maybe that's why.

Wow, so many assumptions. "Nintendo is dead" and "Nintendo's future is bleak" are not statements that anyone should be saying based off of a "here are SOME game coming out this year" type of presentation.

Seriously, I'm not impressed by some of the games, but I doubt Nintendo's future is sealed because they've chosen to make a party game out of Animal Crossing. It'll just be a "meh" game. So what.

The lag and disconnects I experience with literally 90% of the matches I play has completely turned me off to Splatoon.

Anyone else experiencing terrible slow downs online and inking turf only to see that it takes 15 seconds to change to your color? I'm hoping it's just my sub par WiFi connection.

Great deal. Many of the included games have been on my wishlist but I haven't justified the prices with little amount of gaming time I actually have. But for the price I couldn't pass it up.

Nintendo's inclusion of the mobile market in its future plans really is a smart move for brand awareness and revenue. They've already said they're not giving up on the console and handheld market, so I don't see anything to worry about.

@DarthNocturnal The MK8 Direct certainly didn't "bomb" in my opinion. It gave me some good laughs and got me even more hyped for the game.

The game is a lot of fun. Sure, there are features we wish were there, but let us not forget just how original and enjoyable the gameplay actually is!

I just wish there were more useful things to say via the D Pad. Such as:
D Pad Left = "I'll go left!"
D Pad Right = "I'll go right!"
D Pad Up = "Move up!"
D Pad Down = "Help!"

A must buy for me. I hope folks aren't planning on supporting it ONLY if it costs $10 or less. This game is likely to cost a bit more than that, but what do I know?

@rjejr Thankfully, you CAN get on top of the crates. You just can't spray the top of them. But it is interesting to be able to jump from crate to crate and have a vantage point.

According to the Splatoon Direct, it looked like there were more than just 4 maps being added. There were place holders for a total of about 8 or 9.

Great developer. They make solid, worth while games.

Haha, when I read that the bonus includes "Eric Kirby" I thought it read "Epic Kirby". I was like "What the H are they thinking, including Kirby DLC for non-Nintendo platforms!?"

I'm glad they're reassuring the doubters that they are going to hyper focus on QUALITY games. Not just pump out lazy mobile clones of crap that already exists.

I think I'd enjoy a Challenge mode, as long as the challenges aren't as difficult as the achievements that accompanied the game's launch (beat the whole game without dying... Are you kidding me?!)

My company hired a game truck for last year's summer party. I hope they do it again so I can pone my fellow colleagues at a game they've never played.
