@Lofoten I was obviously expecting there to be an option where I could indicate how little I care.

I am missing a "I really do not care!" option.

After I finished Bananza two weeks ago, I started replaying this for the first time in 7,5 years.
I was never the biggest Odessey fan. But it is better than I remembered.

How on earth does one find a way to complain about an opportunity to try the game out before purchasing.

I play a NES game on NSO every other month or so.
Just sold my NES, N64 and GC as they had been in the attic for 15-30 years...

After playing the demo on Switch 2, the Adventures of Elliot is one of my most anticipated games of 2026.
I am so sick of turn-based combat, so it is nice to finally have a good 2D-HD action adventure.

I hope the more lap-type races update helps with this issue for the people who care.

I preordered the physical edition!

Some of the best 3D platformers made, and I have not played them in years.

Yeah I am not nervous. I am quite sure I can enjoy this game even if Retro should have included a single element that is not completely to my liking.

That being said, it seems quite obvious from the footage and from the previous trailers that there will be plenty of Prime -like gameplay.

I really do not care if a game is on a game key card or a full physical release. It is not that interesting.

So I thought this looked pretty fun in the short trailer. But it just plays waaaaay too slow for me. Crawling, walking, picking up, Telly sidekick talking it is all so very slow.

Okay. I just do not see it. This is a very easy pass for me.

One could potentially argue that since DragXDrive is a smaller title that will not get much press, they might launch a general direct on the release date with it being the first title of the show.

My money is on the latter half of August though.

I hope for some Assassin Creed ports, as I have not played a game in that series for almost 5 years.

Also, have we not previously seen a full blown Direct being announced a week or two after a partner/indie direct?

After just reaching the fourth layer, I have gone back and found >90% of the bananas up to and including Canyon.

I wastly prefer this over Odyssey (which was an 8.5/10 game for me) so far.

I never noticed the performance issues in Echoes of Wisdom, but seemingly others thought it was really bad.
So I am guessing I will not notice this either.

That being said, could this not have been fixed with simply having less debree flying around when smashing everything?

I was just thinking this yesterday when downloading Strikers.
Would really like the option.

I really appreciate Strikers as a 30 minuttes on a train kind of game.

My employer paid meetings-from-home headset (Jabra Evolve2 85) works great with my Switch 2.

We will here no more until after the Bananza release, and then August is almost here.
Late September or October.

I cannot remember being more exited for any game that was not a mainline Zelda.

I had hoped that the upgrade would give me the spirit to go on and find the last 30 shrines, finish the last side quests etc.
But I just cannot find more motivation for BotW and TotK. It was good fun for 400 hours though. But now I am out.

@zander_dale My original Switch 2 case from Nintendo has hold for 6 game cartridges.

I got the original case from Nintendo and a tempered glass protector from somewhere else.
Seems capable of protecting the Switch 2.

@sanderev Okay. So once again. My original point above was not that it would be nice for me. But that it would have been a wiser option for Nintendo to include it and increase the price $5.

That being said your point applies to everyhhing included. Why am I forced to pay for the Joy Con grip thing I will never use? And a too shot HDMI cable?

Zelda notes helps me find the last 20 Shrines in TotK that are hidden in all these obnoxious caves. I am quite pleased with Zelda notes.

@themightyant I doubt it. Nintendo specifically mentioned this to be a difference between the different generations of pro-controllers with no mentioning of the possibility of it changing.

Just buy the Switch 2 pro-controller
It is $10/year for not having to get up to turn on the console.

@themightyant you cannot wake the Switch 2 with Switch controllers.
Everything else should work fine.

I totally agree that they should just have increased the price of the console by $5-10 and then included this.
But based on this and IGN previews I am sooooo going to buy it.

Got two preordered without any effort. One from a retailer and one from Nintendo Europe.

I am super excited about Switch 2 and Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza and Metroid Prime 4.
Besides that I am hoping for a June Direct. And good reviews for the Switch 2 edition of Cyberpunk.

Looking at Gamechat so far, I would say that the people that are going to use it are probably not the people that really care much about performance.

Still plenty for European residents outside UK! Just preordered mine (€110 cheaper than my Danish retail preorder).

I just realized yesterday that my tv is only 30 Hz.
It is 8 years old so maybe I deserve a new tv soon...

No questions that cannot simply wait until release.
