I use Nintendo Music almost daily, such a great idea.
And great to have this completed. I wonder what is next week? OoT soundtrack to coincide with a new trailer?!?

Aaaaaah I was hoping to play this on my Switch 2 next month!

I am really not a fan of this franchise but this looks fantastic!

Bananza is my 4th most played game of the Switch/Switch 2 era. Absolutely love everything about it.
But these developer challenges are just too hard for me 😄

I already have a Switch 2 pro-controller. But I feel an urge to get something to celebrate Zelda's 40th and this will properly be it.
Also, I am guessing my current pro-controller will not last the entire generation, so might be needed with an extra anyway.

Great Direct! It seems to be a game for fans of the franchise.

But they revealed too much with the whole 6 years later this is the real protagonist.

This weekend is NSO weekend! I will pull out my cardboard virtual boy and play some Wario.

Awesome! I have been missing the rest of Pauline's Bananza songs.

Also, this gives me some kind of hope they will expand/complete the Star Fox library at some point.

So. In Danish "Pik" is everyday slang for male genitalia and "Min" means "mine".
Somehow running around with a tshirt or cap stating "GenitaliaMine" just doesn't apeal to me...

@kmtrain83 I am starting to think that Square Enix and I are just not aligned.

I loved the initial demo, but now 8 hours into the game, I have given up and resold my copy.
I just feel no sense of progression. It repeats itself with similar areas (apart from the main town) and dungeons.
And the cutscenes are so so long. And the voice acting and characters somewhat unbearable.

Easily my most anticipated game of the summer. Easily my biggest gaming disappointment of 2026.

Super Metroid is another of my childhood favourites so I would buy a remake.
That being said, I think Fusion needs it more. Mostly because the GBA graphics on the NSO version just looks bad on a tv.

This is the August game! In time for Metroid's 40th!

(There is a chance I am over-hyping this).

In MK8 one had to pay for the extra cups (or have a subscription) so having this included is very nice.

@DrJoson Well since I would buy, play, resell, delete it really does not matter. I just want it to run properly while I play it before I resell. And avoid long loading times.
GKCs maximizes the chance of that happening.

I really do not see the full physical as a benefit. It would run so much better off the internal storage. And I cannot resell digital.

@xmkbest @Res462 I don't get the "2-3 hour runtime" point of view. That is like beating only the Mushroom Cup at 100 cc in Mario Kart and then complaining it is too short.

9/10. Awesome remake.

I ended up buying a 256 gb. The 512 gb price did not decrease as fast as I had hoped.
So far, I am estimating I will be able to manage with just this 256 gb throughout the Switch 2 lifecycle.

Trying to find all secret exits and complete all challenges on normal in Star Fox!

@TrogdorTheBurninator plus the added value that it installs on the system, which vastly improves loading times over physical.
I am sort of a fan, really. Or at least the drawbacks of GKCs are not something I personally care about (storage issues aside). And the upsides I like.

@SoIDecidedTo It is great. And there is a free demo with carry on save so no excuse to not try it out if you are interested!

I picked up Elliot yesterday and simultaneously found Yoshi and the Mysterious Book 2nd hand at half price.
I think I will focus on finishing Yoshi before Star Fox arrives next week. And then save most of Elliot for the summer vacation.

My copy is delayed until tomorrow... Well it will be here for the weekend.

@Jumwa There is an easy mode! Whether it is "Super easy casual" I do not know, but I played the demo on normal although I normally play everything on easy.
You can change the difficulty setting throughout.

I have waiting for this since yesterday! Does the embargo normally lift this close to release for Square Enix games? I mean it releases in 3 hours in Japan!

Thanks for review! I have this preordered and will play it during my summer holidays in July so hopefully the performance hiccups will be even less by then.

I played it for something like the 32nd time a year ago so I will just wait. I am not sure that counts as "going in totally fresh" for me though 😄

@Lofoten We should add an option with reimagined world but 1:1 gameplay and progression.

@Koda1000 Yeah I disagree completely. I am all for remaking the old classics and hope this is just the beginning.
A 1:1 remaster of Super Mario 64 would be awesome as the original's controls and camera is quite bad by modern standards, but gameplay and level design is still 100% great.

It is funny how this sentence is analyzed with completely different outcomes across the internet.
My guess would be that it written by someone in marketing that has no idea what they are making.

I am guessing it will be a new set of games when these challenges are over. Which I sort of like. There is plenty of time to finish these after all (the ones I can finish at least!).

Just finished both endings of Metro. Awesome demo. Sweet but short.

And yet we seemingly still do not know all they will release this year.

I find it evident that Nintendo will be moving even more towards the Nintendo Today announcements going forward.
And I guess we will see more of Ocarina at a Zelda's 40th showcase of some kind after summer is over.

This forum has turned into a primary outlet of Nintendo negativity. Which is a shame.
Luckily, the news aspect are still well covered.
