Enjoyed the second game for sure. Like how it offered chances to rescue characters that canonically die in the series.

@Sonicka I'm very sure Aaron McDevitt (the guy behind Aero GPX) has entertained wanting to put the game on Switch/2 as well.

The music/rhythm genre has some fantastic games for sure.

Yet I still hold out that maybe one day, Konami would bring back the old DDR games for modern consoles. It likely won't happen, but it would be incredible if they did.

Jaleco and Psikyo definitely has some interesting classics. I wonder if both companies will ever bring obscure fighter Battle K-Road to consoles.

Nice to see Rise of the Tomb Raider and Arcade Tekken on here.

RotTR is still a fantastic midway point in the reboot trilogy. A step up from an already great TR game in my view.

And I'm so glad the first Tekken gets a return. Hopefully Hamster's Console Archives can get the whole PSX trilogy onto the Switch 2 as well.

Here's hoping for the Console Archives of the first three games. Tekken is such a great series that the PSX trilogy should never be overlooked.

Definite purchase for me. Atari and Digital Eclipse are quite the power couple when it comes to older games.

Why settle for just over 800? I say go for as many as they possibly can. Great chance to breathe new life into classics, that's for sure.

First game was and still is peak. If the sequel manages to outdo the first game, it could definitely be huge.

Surprised to see an Indie Direct a week after the Partner Direct.

I expected a Direct in August. Being at least 24 hours off is a pleasant surprise.

It's pretty simple IMO. If you can put the entire game on the game card, no need for the game-key card.

But if it's like PS4/5 and Xbox when they can't put everything on the disc, then that's where the game-key cards seem to come in.

Seems reasonably priced for both versions.

Would love to see the return of THPS3 in some form. One of the best skateboarding games IMO.

Looking forward to this collection. The Dreamcast had some great fighting games courtesy of Capcom.

I love how the quests in Xenoblade X gets you to upgrade New LA by completing side-quests for more characters, items and facilities. Looking forward to playing it all over again come March.

As an F-Zero player, why not?

If the game can handle it, great. Makes the races more fun. Chaotic even, but fun.

The Metroidvania genre certainly isn't shy on creative liberties. And I'm all for it.

Sounds great. It means having some Sega CD and PS1 on the Switch too.

A Switch port for Soma was long overdue. It's not called a thought-provoking game for nothing.

Don't sleep on the Amnesia games either. The earlier games are worth looking into.

I've seen the rumours.

I'm more willing to believe that Final Fantasy VII Remake & Rebirth will be on the Switch 2 due to Square Enix's desire to broaden their horizons. But let's wait and see.

Can't wait to get back to playing Xenoblade Chronicles X all over again.

Looking forward to the new area. As well as the new characters and enemies.

So Gotham Knights will be on the Switch 2 before Arkham Origins? Interesting.

I like Gotham Knights myself, so I can't complain. I still wish to see Arkham Origins on the Switch in the future though.

Can't wait to get my hands on Suikoden I & II. Two of the finer PS1 classics for sure.

Hello, 2025!

Boy, there are a lot of great games in that list of 35.

It was thanks to the SNES Classic and the 3DS that I was able to play Earthbound.

And yes, the final boss really was unsettling.

I say 2024 was a great year for the Switch.

Unicorn Overlord, Zelda, the return of SMTV, just to name a few.

Here's looking forward to what will likely be a fantastic 2025.

Considering the games delisted from Xbox were games from the Dreamcast and Saturn consoles, they could have done collections from those two consoles. Especially seeing as Capcom Fighting Collection 2 will have several Dreamcast games on it.

@hel105 The Vita was helped by the PSP and PS1 games (Persona and Xenogears as examples) that could be played on it too.

But yes, there were Vita games that I always come back to. Wipeout, Sonic All-Stars, Samurai Warriors 4 and several PS2 trilogies were just a few that spring to mind.

Given the recent MvC collection and the upcoming Fighting Collection 2, it's hard not to be optimistic with Capcom wanting to revive their older selections.

Nice selection. Victory Heat Rally, Kain, Croc, Fantasian and Rollercoaster Tycoon makes this a solid December.

The moment I'm able to, I'm definitely getting XCX:DE. The DE for the 1st game was and still is spectacular. This and Metroid Prime 4 will definitely be huge titles in 2025.

Oh, yes. One of the best modern horror games and one of the best horrors on the Switch for sure.

Going back to play the first game to prep myself for it.

FireRed/LeafGreen was a great game to be part of the GBA library. A fantastic remake of the original Pokemon.

Just a great September for the Switch.

This makes me think of Powerwash Simulator and Fresh Start. Gonna have to get my hands on this.

Happy to see Yakuza on the Nintendo system. May it pave the way for more.
