Surprised to see an Indie Direct a week after the Partner Direct.

I expected a Direct in August. Being at least 24 hours off is a pleasant surprise.

It's pretty simple IMO. If you can put the entire game on the game card, no need for the game-key card.

But if it's like PS4/5 and Xbox when they can't put everything on the disc, then that's where the game-key cards seem to come in.

@Sambuc The PS2 version was what got me into Tony Hawk.

Seems reasonably priced for both versions.

So what if Shin'en doesn't have a large collection of games? The games they have are top quality IMO.

This coming to the Switch next week was definitely not on my 2025 bingo card. This is already quite the year for gaming.

Would love to see the return of THPS3 in some form. One of the best skateboarding games IMO.

Looking forward to this collection. The Dreamcast had some great fighting games courtesy of Capcom.

Here' hoping the physical copies actually have a card in them.

Even if that doesn't become the official cover art for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, that's a great cover nonetheless.

I love how the quests in Xenoblade X gets you to upgrade New LA by completing side-quests for more characters, items and facilities. Looking forward to playing it all over again come March.

As an F-Zero player, why not?

If the game can handle it, great. Makes the races more fun. Chaotic even, but fun.

The Metroidvania genre certainly isn't shy on creative liberties. And I'm all for it.

Sounds great. It means having some Sega CD and PS1 on the Switch too.

A Switch port for Soma was long overdue. It's not called a thought-provoking game for nothing.

Don't sleep on the Amnesia games either. The earlier games are worth looking into.

I've seen the rumours.

I'm more willing to believe that Final Fantasy VII Remake & Rebirth will be on the Switch 2 due to Square Enix's desire to broaden their horizons. But let's wait and see.

Can't wait to get back to playing Xenoblade Chronicles X all over again.

Looking forward to the new area. As well as the new characters and enemies.

So Gotham Knights will be on the Switch 2 before Arkham Origins? Interesting.

I like Gotham Knights myself, so I can't complain. I still wish to see Arkham Origins on the Switch in the future though.

Can't wait to get my hands on Suikoden I & II. Two of the finer PS1 classics for sure.

If anyone on here likes Eiyuden, you'll definitely like Suikoden.

Boy, there are a lot of great games in that list of 35.

It was thanks to the SNES Classic and the 3DS that I was able to play Earthbound.

And yes, the final boss really was unsettling.

I say 2024 was a great year for the Switch.

Unicorn Overlord, Zelda, the return of SMTV, just to name a few.

Here's looking forward to what will likely be a fantastic 2025.

Considering the games delisted from Xbox were games from the Dreamcast and Saturn consoles, they could have done collections from those two consoles. Especially seeing as Capcom Fighting Collection 2 will have several Dreamcast games on it.

@hel105 The Vita was helped by the PSP and PS1 games (Persona and Xenogears as examples) that could be played on it too.

But yes, there were Vita games that I always come back to. Wipeout, Sonic All-Stars, Samurai Warriors 4 and several PS2 trilogies were just a few that spring to mind.

Given the recent MvC collection and the upcoming Fighting Collection 2, it's hard not to be optimistic with Capcom wanting to revive their older selections.

Nice selection. Victory Heat Rally, Kain, Croc, Fantasian and Rollercoaster Tycoon makes this a solid December.

The moment I'm able to, I'm definitely getting XCX:DE. The DE for the 1st game was and still is spectacular. This and Metroid Prime 4 will definitely be huge titles in 2025.

Oh, yes. One of the best modern horror games and one of the best horrors on the Switch for sure.

Going back to play the first game to prep myself for it.

FireRed/LeafGreen was a great game to be part of the GBA library. A fantastic remake of the original Pokemon.

Just a great September for the Switch.

This makes me think of Powerwash Simulator and Fresh Start. Gonna have to get my hands on this.

If you enjoyed Eiyuden's Hundred Heroes, you'll love Suikoden for sure. Another fine PS1-era series.

Digital Eclipse never misses. A Tetris collection is a fantastic idea.

Nice to see some great Dreamcast games in that collection. Power Stone, Rival Schools AND Plasma Sword in one collection is even better.

Capcom wasn't joking about reviving older fighting games.

Been replaying the Prime series to ready myself for 4.

MP1 Remaster is just beautiful. Echoes and Corruption are just as fantastic and should be on the Switch before 4's release.

The Hunter games should not be ignored. I could see 4 being a continuation of the Hunters.

Sucks, but if it allows the finished product to run and play better on release, I'll take it.

Definitely has the retro racer vibes.

This has vibes of Sable (An Xbox and PS4/5 game). Except it looks more colourful and has more of a real location look to it.

Definitely plan on picking this up.

Wonder what "unannounced project" Sega has in store.
