Too bad they are working so much on making these surprises for their japanese and american audience while Europe is still waiting to get "Gotta Protectors" ;w;
Honestly, cultural mind-setting aside, what they are doing is not wrong. It's part of the game-making to take decisions that will guide the players so that they can enjoy the game in the best way possible.
However it's hard to deny they really went for a very straight and not subtle at all approch with Splatoon XD;;;
Honestly it's not the end of the world, but it's really a weird choice.
Did they really run out of budget so much they couldn't afford to have someone spending few minutes photoshopping some official arts and logo into an icon? Sounds a little too extreme to me.
Definitely look like an interesting game, wish I could have played it on PC, but despite looking so simple that game pull no punches, my computer couldn't run it faster than 1fps XD;;;
At this point I start to think that this serie producer started up with fighting/action games only for reach the sales and popularity needed for gain the freedom to produce all the weirdness he always wanted to make XD
I can't avoid to think this could have been the best Senran Kagura game ever if they used what they consider the main game as only a interlude between the classical action packed levels.
Then again this is literally a glorified tech demo, so there is still hope (or fear maybe XD) for the future titles.
That was way too close! I've been waiting for rewards like this for a full year, if they waited just a few more days all my Gold Coins would have expired XD
Makes sense, recent Mario's games had pretty pointless Game Overs that were pretty much a "You lost all your lifes, here extra ones" kind of thing. Not that the Game Over has no place to stay in gaming, some games still need it, but it was a while that Mario was clearly trying to get rid of this system XD
The premise of The Longest Five Minutes sounds interesting, especially if it's not just a plot thing, but a core part of the gameplay.
The trailer seems to hint you have to keep switching between the hero's memories and the final boss battle, I really hope it will be as creative as it tease.
Great timing as always with their updates, just started to play MN9 on PS4 cause I gave up on the 3DS version >_>; (Plus the already released versions are super cheap nowaday tbh).
This reveal may have caused more insane reactions than the reveal of Twilight Princess back at E3 2004.
If anything I hope Nintendo won't hold any more doubts about fans wanting a new Prime game XD
It's more than a fair move, it pains me to admit it, but in some stores around here (and not even minor ones) the Wii still has as much space on the shelves dedicated to its games as the Wii U -.-;;;
It sincerely looks awesome and hilarious too.
Still too early for be sure it's as good as it seems, but I definitely have high hopes now that finally those silly Rabbids are getting featured in a great game (in theory Mario too, but it's not like he's never been in a great game, quite the opposite XD).
Love how they say they converted to sprite the 3D models, they literally did the same approch of the old Mortal Kombat, but with 3D models instead then with real people XD
This looks sincerely interestingly and cool (even if also very wrong somehow XD). However the latest Rabbids games were... not really great let's say (and none ever been truly outstanding to be honest) so I'm not really sure how high I can realistically keep my hopes ^_^;;;
Motion controls? Like the Tenkaichi serie on Wii? That may actually be a pretty a good thing. Sure, it's not as responsive as a button input, but mimic a kamehameha never gets old X3
@JubilifeRival Sincerely surprised to hear so, have been living in Italy since I was born and noone I know would consider that gesture really offensive, especially not in the context of a Mario kart race and done like inkling girl used to (while I admit it may come across as offensive in a different context and with the gesture done properly).
That's not offensive in italy >_>;;;
At most is considered not elegant, but anyway we do it with the arm at a completly different angle (which make me doubt it can even be considered the same gesture); indeed if it wasn't for the update and the article pointing it out, I couldn't even tell the inkling girl was doing that gesture at all ^^;
...But of course I can't speak for all the other countries, so maybe their call and change was more needed then I can imagine.
It's not really suprising and I'm sure Nintendo already expected that, afterall the F2P system became a norm on mobile exactly cause of the money it can make, not cause players loves it or how well it enchant the gameplay.
Then again the different results can't be attributed only to the prices, the two games are very different afterall.
Personally I spent nothing in both, but I would have loved to put some money in FE if the orbs were cheaper (my opinion, but their price is far from be tempting) while I'll never purchase Mario Run simply because I didn't like it enough (I didn't even feel compelled to finish the free part) even if I'm totally okay with its pay-once price.
Still playing it since launch and can't wait to give a spin summoning these new heroes! (And since I saved enough spheres for three full rituals I'm sure... I'll get none of them XD (EDIT: Guess the game read the comment and really wanted to prove me wrong, got Ike at the first summon of the first ritual and Mist at the second summon of the second ritual, gotta love when a game have such sense of humour)).
Those magazine looks interesting and definitely different, their counterpart over here surely lacked the same care on the tech side (or maybe as a kid I didn't read articles about chips and such, that may be the case too XD).
Anyway I'm just glad gaming magazine were published even here in Italy, I would have never discovered the Zelda franchise as a kid without the legendary NRU X3
Gotta admit that the nostalgia is so strong for a moment I wanted to buy it only cause it's a new Game Boy game, no matter whatever the game is about ^_^;;;
Not sure what to think, I love the serie cause it actually does more then just fanservice, but same time I can't see as negative a small spin-off derailing and focusing on what sounds like a ridiculus april-fool made real XD
Nintendo is proud to announce the SNES mini, soon available in stor... and it sold out. No worry, more are being ma...ops, we are closing production, better luck next time with the N64 mini ^o^/
They were beyond wrong in predictions and ready to bet all the parties and money involved followed those as guidelines. You can fix and adjust to small mistakes, but this was a huge miscalculation, no wonder ceasing production ended up be a better option then meeting demand. Nintendo should really start to trust more its fans and their "maybe" excessive willingness of tossing money at them XD
Over all a really good direct, personally I'm uber hyped that we are finally getting a Culdcept game in Europe, it was so sudden and totally unexpected! Can't wait to finally try out this serie!
Ooooh, so this is why NOE pushed the other two versions in the direct, gotta admit they almost tempted me to buy, but now that I know a "complete" version exist I'll just wait and risk to see if it gets released here too ^_^;
That's awesome in all the wrong ways XD But I hope the game will have... you know... actual gameplay? The best part of the Senran Kagura serie is their shameless fusion of fun gameplay with exagerated fanservice, glad they went overboard and did such "in-depht" reserch on the latter, but do NOT forget the former Mr. Takaki >o<
If they really improved Moblin bashing then it's great, those monsters always suprised me, there is so much going on in the adventure, so many huge powerful enemies, and yet those guys are the only ones dropping the framerate to 0 when hitted (seriously, yesterday my game even froze for a full second as I was hitting one of them XD).
Loving BotW, the Zelda's serie definitely needed a game like this, but at same time I can't really say I want more of it. It may be just me, but all the time needed just for get from A to B is really wearing me off, I'll surely and gladly get to the end of BotW, but I shiver just at the thought of having to do that again, I think this is the first time I played a game I really liked and yet that is not giving me the wish to get more of it.
(Althought, to be fair, it could take another 5 years before the next Zelda, that may be, hopefully, enough time for recover from BotW XD)
Just read the PushSquare review then I came here and I see the full picture is not brighter. A bit of a shame, but still sounds like a game I may give it a chance regardless since I always been a fan of platformers (I mean... if I managed to complete DK64 101% without punching the screen then I should be fine with YL too...hopefully XD).
100% Bayo1 on PC, they already have the HD graphics thanks to the WiiU port, just need to remove the Nintendo's costumes and it's ready XD
Plus I can hardly imagine a steam game hinting at a Switch exclusive or any publisher being so blow away by Bayo2's sales to change their negative opinion on the franchise (let's not forget Bayo2 was published by Nintendo cause noone else wanted to do it).
Honestly surprised to read that the game is so "lacking", while having more sports at once surely create limits, Mario Sport Mix on Wii had a similar matter, but did pretty well. Sure, the sports weren't as deep as the standalone ones, but there was no lack of modes and Mario's charm (with weird courses, rules and even items).
Kinda a shame SuperStars doesn't seem even comparable to Mix as quality, with such a fun predecessor I really had very high hopes for this new collection.
That's so weirdly ingenious O_O
I once found one of my DS' cards under a door, filled with bites from my "adorable" kitty.
Luckily Nintendo's cards are invincible, my DS game still works, but glad to know no cat will be able to chew my Switch's games XP
Not just Japan, one of the stores I usually visit had already a Switch's arch posted at the entrance of the games' area X3 Gotta admit, by logic I still believe it's wiser for me to buy the Switch later on, but all this hype is really making me doubt my plans XD
Not interested in the game, but supporting the approch, the Switch has many different potentials and it would be a shame to see some of them ignored cause "not the expected use of the console". Really hope that having a developer doing this at the begin of the Switch life-cycle will push other developers in be brave and bold in using the console ^_^
I love the final line of the article O.O "All of these items can be obtained in the game without using amiibo" Really glad the amiibo are keeping their status of a lovely extra that you are not forced to buy purely for the game's sake.
Well, that's suprising, Capcom used to sell palette swaps as DLC in some games if I remember correctly, the fact this time around it's all in the basic package and with an edit mode it's great.
CDs indestructible? I never believed so to begin with XD Given I had no clue of this early deteriorment, but how can you consider "resistent" something that feel like it could rot just by staring at it? ^_^;;;

Admittely stopped to play it ages ago, not even the gen2 update managed to push me back to it.
Anyway I doubt the Pokémon company or niantic are worried, the actual userbase is far from bad and at launch the game got so much attention it pushed back the franchise to be common knowledge; Pokémon GO definitely achieved what it was planned for and even more.
