So many copies sold and yet we barely reached the 10 millions in the 100 millions catch challange... Glad people are buying, but they need to start catching mon too!!!
I would have been surprised if he declared: "We're doomed!!! It's over, Nintendo won ;o;" Not that anyway he has any reason for say that, the Switch is playing a bit safer, but it's still a bet, as much as we can tell now it could swipe the market like the Wii or barely scrap it like the Wii U.
Definitely would love to have such feature back, it's not a key mechanic, but it's hard to not love it XD
And at this point I hope the rumour of the star version is true even for the sake of the animators, else those datas are the proof that they worked for months over nothing >.>;;; ( It happens in the development of a game, but these huge cuts are always such a shame!).
I'm still dreaming of a Gotcha Force sequel, Capcom already proved to remember the serie exist with an unexpected japan-only reprint not many years ago; it's not much and they surely have many bigger IPs they could/should revive, but I seriously hope they'll give to GF a second chance one day >.<
Not really a suprise, sure Nintendo pushed the secrety of the Switch a lot, but they always proved to be very supportive with third parties (as honestly all first parties are), it's just that third parties were not willing to cooperate with Nintendo as for them the Wii U was a terrible combo of being a low userbase console not powerful enough for easy ports >_>;
Too bad the race is not about KOes, I defeated so many Pkmn cause of the calling for help feature that I would have reach the 100 million alone XD
And just for be clear, I'm not complaining about the calling for help, quite the opposite I love it! Catching finally got more interesting than a boring "keep tossing pokeballs" and I got some pretty rare stuffs by abusing it.
Kinda surprised to read the bit about Popplio being 10 levels ahead, probably because I immediatly turned the exp-share off, but I keep fighting trainers with pkmn at the same level of mine or higher (really didn't expect it would have made such a huge difference, better so, I'm loving the challange so far).
Also gotta love the new chain mechanic, after so many years playing Pkmn I finally managed to catch a shiny I like and add it to my story-team XD
Kinda reminded me of an episode of the old Art Attack serie made by Disney XD Definitely cool to see (both the controller and the video), but I can't imagine that many people will really follow the tutorial and do it themselves ^_^;;;
That pitch is awful, not as it is bad, but because it's a classical movie story has we saw it million of times -.-;;;
I really don't understand modern directors, they go all the way for find new iconic original materials to work with only for slap on them the same movie plot that have been reused a billion times before...
@memoryman3 We share the same hope, poor Daisy deserve more respect in Smash than being a palette swap for Peach ;w; (To be fair she would deserve her own game, but having a spot in the roster of Smash would be a great start!).
Luckily it's not a huge deal, I suffer more from the boot time in Smash, sometimes I just wanna do a quick match and in comparison I spend as much time waiting as playing, but RPGs are mostly meant to be played for longer sessions; 40 seconds of wait every 40 minutes or more of gameplay are literally nothing XD
@BensonUii I know Nintendo have a standard price for Wii games, but that's just their policy ^^;
Not saying is the worst policy ever and with pricier games or those very hard to find it's even a very fair one and a fantastic deal. But even if all that is true, it really doesn't make this particular case any less silly, at least to me XD
And can't believe they are really selling Rhythm Paradise at 20€, didn't buy it till now despite seeing it everywhere at 8€, what makes them think I'll change mind now for more than double that price? ^_^;;;
If it's true I still hope all those "ports" will be heavily upgraded versions of those games with more contenent.
I know Nintendo want and need to gather to a different audience and lost fans, but a ton of straight ports are not really that interesting for Wii U owners, it would be as if Nintendo is trying not just to forget about the Wii U, but also about those who supported it DX
Impossible to disagree with the award to Aonuma, he totally deserve it after all these years taking care of one of the most iconic series in gaming history! (And so surely do all the people he could only mention as a number for not hold the awards for hours listing all the names of the great people that worked with him XD).
It's very likely that the Wii U will be remembered as a failure and one of the worst Nintendo's products, but honestly I'll never agree to such opinion. It wasn't a perfect console, but none is, and I had a ton of fun thanks to my Wii U. As a gamer that's what I want most and it definitely delivered.
Really hope NoE will do something similar, even a contest with only digital games as reward would be nice! (And I mean full games, don't make a competition with discounts as prizes NoE >.>; ).
Love my Wii U, definitly got a ton of fun with it and in some terms I agree it deserved better. If anything, I personally don't like most of the killer apps on the other consoles, if it wasn't for the Wii U (and the 3DS covering when needed) I would have got little to no games to play in the last five years XD
You're not alone Mr.Masuda, I think no one expected Pokémon Go to be a such a global success, the whole world talked about it for months, that was crazy XD
That said, glad it didn't affect Sun and Moon gameplay wise, even if maybe I wouldn't mind the return of the PokéWalker feauture. And come on! The really awful games are just a few, indeed many are great with few spin-off falling in acceptable-playable territory. I still can't believe they said that XD
@Henmii I don't speak Japanese, but isn't the 4,980 at the end of the video the price in yen for Sun and Moon? Nothing can beat a price tag for point out that it's not free to play ^_^;
I so hope UltraBeast won't be catchable and actually be super strong bosses. While Pokemon has always been unique with every opponent being a Pokemon you could unlock and train, after all these years a change into classic RPG battles with overpowered bosses would feel refreshing somehow XD
As far as I remember Nintendo even held in Japan special events for teach young devellopers about Unity, so no surprise they are allowing DeNA to make SuperMarioRun on it.
That said... I can get to playable results in Unity and I know how to access models of Super Mario's characters so... Can I do a game for you Nintendo? ^_^

Everything else however is simply awesome, glad to see we won't have to wait an "Eclipse" version for get a super cool post-story!
Looks like a cool demo, if anything Sonic is fast as it should be and look like a ton of fun to control (althought you can't judge a control scheme before trying it XD).
Not surprised, the Switch doesn't have the advantage of the Wii U which got released after a console super successful, making sense to be sold at launch at a small loss for maximize the sales. Plus we all know sadly how "well" that worked, so really not a surprised they won't do it again ^_^;;;

On the other end, TBD on Dr. Kawashima feels like someone at NoE suddenly found the files of the translated EU version in a forgotten folder "Oh my, we forgot to release it!!! O_O;;;".
A true shame, the second screen was a nice little extra and even gave some very unique experiences and small fixes that made some great games that little bit better.
Anyway it's not a deal breaker or a tragedy, I just feel slightly annoyed that I supported and loved all Nintendo's idea of the last decade just for seeing them ditching many of them now T.T;

It looks... empty, foggish and monocromatic to be fair, can't say I have my hopes high, but never judging before playing (or having someone else playing and reviewing XP).
@Nintendian Unity games only run on the New 3DS, say what you want about bad develloppers filling the eShop (definitly not denying the problem), but, on 3DS at least, Unity have pretty much no fault.
Exceptional graphics are surely a charm to watch, even breathtaking at times, and a game running at 60fps have an extreme smoothness in the flow that is hard to deny, however after playing various games on my not-gaming pc I gotta admit that when a game is fun I can easily manage to deal with sub-par graphics and sub-30 fps (as long as the game remain in playable-land obviously), so I really don't care which one the NX will try to achieve, in either case it will be just a bonus for me, not a needed feature.
Maybe it doesn't prove much, but I hope many gaming sites will make a similar article, you know, just for show Capcom how many of us wants The Great Ace Attorney localized.
Sure, not that this strategy proved to work in the past, but maybe this time it will be different... or at least one can dream so, right? ^_^;
The concept is great, but the execution is lacking, 90% of the new prizes are discounts and pretty low ones, even when many gold coins are required, it's not really tempting ^_^;
Kinda funny anyway how many people wants back phisical rewards, I miss them too, but back in the days of the old Club Nintendo most comments were against them; I guess most people didn't realize how cool they were until they saw how lame the new alternative is XD
Not planning to get this digital, but I gotta admit it's a very small file size for a game with over 800 unique 3D models (just playing safe, it's very likely that will be even closer to 900).
And that without considering all the human characters, all the enviroments and all the musics!
I know it's a 3DS game and not an HD home console one, but still I can't believe they can squeeze so much contenent in such a small file size >.>;;;
sigh Since August they only added a single full download purchase with gold coins, which is the Mario Kart 8 first DLC...
I just want two or three VC titles and/or DLCs on offer at everytime so that I can pick something or wait and actually see new offers after the old ones expires, am I really asking too much? -.-;;;
"It's hard to believe this is a game based on the Unity engine such is the complexity of the visuals"
Ehr, what? I know it's not Unreal, but graphics are a strong point in Unity too if people know how to use it. I'm more surprised to hear it plays well, I mess around Unity and played some Unity games too, but never found a case were controls felt 100% right (then again my messing around runs on my amaturish scripts and the other games were of very small studios with small budgets).
Anyway the game looks more and more promising, impressive to say the least, I would just dare to complain about the music and sound effects, not because they are bad, but because they're way too much Banjoo-Kazooish ^_^; I'm all for a spiritual successor, but with that music I get so nostalgic that the modern visuals and the lack of bear/bird feels too wrong, almost unacceptable XD
I feel bad for the poor skunk in the photo, I get it's a joke, but the poor thing did nothing wrong for deserve to be compared with such a terrible develloper T.T;
Not a bad artstyle, actually isn't it often used with much bigger productions like anime movies? But such a change after so SO long it's gonna be pretty hard to get used to for the older fans (me included ^^; ).
@Tedikuma Ditto (no Pokemon pun intended), I was gonna say the same, some of the best and more vivid cartoons looks down right creepy if framed during fast actions XD

Anyway the game looks more and more promising, impressive to say the least, I would just dare to complain about the music and sound effects, not because they are bad, but because they're way too much Banjoo-Kazooish ^_^;
I'm all for a spiritual successor, but with that music I get so nostalgic that the modern visuals and the lack of bear/bird feels too wrong, almost unacceptable XD
Re: Random: The First Skunk Bundle is Free on the North American eShop Right Now
I feel bad for the poor skunk in the photo, I get it's a joke, but the poor thing did nothing wrong for deserve to be compared with such a terrible develloper T.T;
Re: Video: Fans Are Getting Bent Out Of Shape By The New Pokémon Sun And Moon Anime
