Re: Some Japanese Gamers Aren't Happy About Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection

Azikira

Wait, I'm really confused by this... They're releasing 12 games in one, some of which are nearly impossible to get, and people are mad about names?
I mean, I get it'd be confusing, but this isn't an end-all situation for these games, and it's like Capcom is trying to appeal to as wide an audience as possible... So why is there all this Capcom hate going on right now?!

Re: Review: Mutant Mudds Collection (Switch eShop)

Azikira

Well, I DO like Mutant Mudds, but there's something just slightly offputting about the game and I can't place my finger on it... (And no, it's not the difficulty. That's probably my favorite aspect about it!)

I'll still probably snag this though, Jools is a cool dude and I wanna support him!

Re: Details Emerge on Mega Man 11 Difficulty Options, a Weapon Wheel and More

As I said before, something about the game gives me a nasty Mighty No. 9 vibe... But I hope the game is awesome and kicks that crap out of my brain forever!

9 and 10 were both superb in my book, and I'm not opposed to a 2.5D art style. PLEASE BE GOOD, and not just "Better then nothing"! I don't want to cry like an anime fan on prom night!

Re: Review: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (Switch)

I have a very long, detailed reason why I absolutely HATE Skyrim (and all the various re-releases), but this one can get a pass in my books since it's the first time an Elder Scrolls game has ever been on a Nintendo Platform.

YOU WIN THIS TIME, BETHESDA.

Re: Hardware Review: Hori's Switch Horipad Is The Controller You Never Knew You Needed

@Damo
Wow, you guys must've got a really good one. Mine was so effed up it was unreal. For starters, the left stick was inverted, meaning up went down and vice versa. That alone warranted a return, but on top of that, both the thumbsticks have so much kickback that it sometimes registers it as being pressed in a different direction. With most games, that's not an issue, but for a game like The Binding of Isaac, having your character whip a 180 while fighting a boss made it nearly impossible (and that game was hard enough already!).
Third, I'm absolutely shocked that ANYONE likes that D-Pad. Its a floating D-Pad similar to the original Xbox 360's, and everyone HATED that one. This is basically no different besides the fact it's detachable. It's not even that accurate, it's 'just accurate enough' that people probably won't complain since it's the cheapest controller option for the Switch.
I've been trying to steer people away from this monstrocity ever since I had to deal with it.

Re: Review: Splatoon 2 (Switch)

Wow, I would have never expected a 10/10 from this game. An 8 or 9 MAYBE, but 10?
Well, hopefully by the time I pick it up I'll have decent, stable internet.

Re: Fake NES Mini Consoles Spotted for Sale On The Web

Azikira

As much of a deplorable business practice is, there will always be fakes, knock-offs and "replicas". Not saying that I condone it, but if they were to release those for an actual low price, it /could/ allow some people who really wanted one to get one. This wouldn't satisfy collectors, but the average joe. Just my two cents on the matter.
