So its been 3 years since I bought a game day 1 then. I had already been a big fan of 2Bs uhh design before it even hit the Switch (and them not being greedy and charging $60) so it was an easy choice.

The FF series is basically dead to me at this point (unless FFT gets some sort of wizardy remake that somehow makes me change my view on cash grab re-whatevers) but I will always go back and revisit 7,8,9 and 10 via emulation every once in awhile as they're cozy, plus you'd be surprised how good FFX looks upscaled 8x.

@DashKappei Glad I decided to check here and see if anyone updated on us on gyro. Seems they've added a ton of new stuff (levels, music, another mode) in a patch even after the one above.

I too refuse to ever play a FPS without gyro aiming again as someone who doesn't want auto aim and wants to earn every HS.

First Christmas since getting my switch i won't be getting any discount Xmas games. Totally dropped the ball on this one, looks like a normal sale on a random Tuesday in March, not christmas sales.

I dont understand that when a game is going to get delisted permanently, like these appear to be, why they dont discount them down to a dollar or two.

Certainly some thousands of dollars is better than no dollars?

Uhh what. I cant even begin to fathom what exactly they have that they think would require a subscription service? Some old cartoons? The only good Sonic games can be emulated on an electric toothbrush.

Guess greedy people see others doing something sketchy yet profitable and just start pipe dreaming ways to implement it themselves.

EShop sales were very disappointing this year.

So 6v6 Overwatch and Apex for me. Absolutely crazy its been 7 months of a missing asset in the Switch version of Apex that they have yet to fix despite me cursing at them on X. Classic EA.

I wouldn't call their lawyers ninjas, more like mafia. They have no problems using the grey area or indeed illegal intimidation to get their way. And its clear they do not care about the video game industry as they are more than happy to stifle and ruin future innovation (so long as they remain the kings) by trying to start patenting game mechanics. If they get their way with that, you'll see the industry collapse within 10 years. Go Palworld!

Not surprised at all because Hollyweird has 0 innovation or talent left. Im sure we will hit 8 or 9 before they start withering off and find a new IP to leech off.

I'll definitely get Unicorn eventually when its on sale cheap enough since I never get around to finishing the games I buy on sale as it is.

We haven't lived in a logical society for the past couple years.

Had enough saved for a 10er. Felt like the rate for holos were lower with the new packs but probably just bad luck.

Got a cool Mew from them at least.

Will continue to just open packs since I dont care for the actual card game much. At least if they added ranked with some rewards it would give me a reason to battle.

Maybe its just me but it seems like putting out demos before a games release or at least at the same time would be the way to go to get more sales...not a month later.

I like how it looks though, haven't played any games with it besides OT demo though.

I get on to open the 2 packs every day or so. Battling is too simplistic with no ranked mode to hold my attention.

Really have no idea why I even open the packs since I do nothing with them lol, guess for the sake of pretending im opening a pack of cards.

Surprised it took this long. Really was a gorgeous game.

Been so long since I played it on my Switch id be better off starting all over again at this point...

I was actually playing the original on my phone not long ago, good for some nostalgia but id rather just watch the film again.

Sounds kind of interesting but baffling they wouldn't do touch controls for such a game.

What do people do when they encounter long "loading times" in the real world? A line at a bank? Waiting for a busy restaurant to being your food? Dear lord...the DMV?

I guess its because I have the Resident Evil doors and step loading screens burnt into my brain still after 20+ years, but im not all that bothered by load times.

I'll stick to my 1TB I got at a sane price that can store all my games and then some instead of the slow commercial "upgrade" cycle starting at something like 128gb or 256gb for what will probably be $150 or drastically more depending on situations around the globe.

Huh so that's what Tails of Iron is. Seen it on sale on DekuDeals so many times but never looked at it.

I bought it for a couple bucks, bit sure why. Played it for maybe 3 hours and will probably never touch it again. Always preferred AoE or C&C anyway.

They sure really want you to buy your levels instead of earning them by playing the game modes you want anymore.

I basically just idled on a trampoline in Lego for all my levels last season since it bored me. Can't even do that now as they ramp up their greed with their crew pass.

Was kind of hoping it was just one person opening non stop for a day straight. Would be amusing to see the exhaustion of someone seeing their 836th Ditto of the day with numb fingers and sleep deprived thoughts.

@MrGawain I actually enjoyed Immortals more than BoTW, but as a lifelong classic Zelda fan since the first, BoTW killed the series for me in general. Thought Immortals had a lot more enjoyable characters, better world with actual things to explore for, infinitely more enjoyable combat and movement system. No weapon destruction, yick.

But im also a person who loves B-movies and will take them over the over-budgeted movie of the year too.

Anyway, weird thing for Ubi to do since their company is about to go under.

They work fine on my phone. Usually play with one screen much larger than the other with a button to switch between the two. Sometimes one screen full screen if you dont need to see the second one. Sometimes half and half in vertical if both screens need attention.

Its pretty game specific.

I myself am growing kind of bored of it. Even just logging on once every day to open the 2 packs makes me question why im even doing it.
